Teresa-I get all warm inside just remembering our Dolphin tour!!! A dream come true-next....SWIM with them!!!!  :):)

I'm hoping with as many Sista's wanting to go-it would be grand if we could all be on the same floor with some adjoining rooms!!!!  Plus we need to create our own Paint the square PINK-I know we've all got many talents that we can show off!!!

Teresa so sorry I haven't returned your call...sheesh or even an email what a loser.. sorry, but thank you so much for thinking of me.

Susie THANK YOU SO MUCH for the call.  You sure know how to make a person smile just from the sound of your voice!  Not to mention all the wonderful things you said about me.  Even if they weren't true it still made me feel better.  :-)

Thanks to all of you and your wonderful posts!  I can't even begin to tell you what it means to me.

You girls... I feel the closest to and as we gain more and more on this site we will become even closer with many!  Our reunions will grow and our friendships will too.  We sure found that pot of gold when we found eachother!  Laughing

I posted this on EC and I want to post it here.

This has definitely been a tough year and a half for me personally, but having this wonderful support of women who are going through the same things has been a tremendous blessing!!!  Some of us will have better results than others in our reconstruction.  Especially when we look at the pic forum and see all of the wonderful results.  I have come to the conclusion that I just need to STOP thinking about my breasts and start thinking about LIVING!!!  I CANNOT LET MY BOOBS TAKE OVER MY LIFE ANYMORE!!!!  I will try to learn to live with my new breasts, the new me, and my new life!  It's SO AWESOME that we get to start over!  To look at things in a different light and to live to the fullest that we possibly can!  This little video came to me when I needed it the most: http://www.thedashmovie.com/  I didn't think anything of it until a day after I watched it.  At the end of the day and in the big scheme of things...all that matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.

I love you girls!  THE TATA SISTERHOOD IS FOREVER STRONG IN LOVE AND LIFE!!!

    HUGS! Jazzy

    Hello everyone:

I have some information to share. Tracey and Stephanie are not able to post right now  (working and out of town so they do not have access to a computer) so here it is.  The hotel we have for the2nd Tata's reunion is "Planet Hollywood" Planet Hollywood is located right across the Bellagio and next to Paris hotel.  The rates for the room are $139.00 for Friday, $149.00 Saturday and $119.00 Sunday.  This includes a bottle of wine or alcoholic beverage of the room's guest's  choice.  We have an upgraded mountain-view room, which is a larger room than a standard room with 2 queen beds.  The hotel has waived the resort fee so it is the base rate plus the 12% tax.  As it was last year any room with more than 2 guests, there is a charge of $30.00 per extra guest.

When making the reservations, please mention the GTATA10 group.  They will hold our rooms until 30 days before the event, so the cut off date for reservation and price guarantee is September 1st.  Any rooms not booked by then will be released back to the hotel.  Once our block of rooms is gone any extra rooms will be at the regular charge.  If you make the reservation and cannot attend I believe you have up to 30 days before the event to cancel and get a full refund.  Please, please double-check that when you are making your reservation.

The room rates may also change, if between now and the reunion date the room rates go down, at that point we will be given the lower rate available.  As of right now if you want to arrive on Wednesday, the rate for Thursday is $99.00 per night.  This rate is not guaranteed and may change by tomorrow.

Gosh, I hope I have included everything, if I left something out please ask and I will try to find out.  Please thank Stephanie for the great rates; she did all the negotiation for this hotel.  So you can compare, when we try to stay there last year the lowest rate we could get was $195 for Friday and Saturday and $150 for Sunday.

I am looking forward to October...it will be here before you know it.

    Hugs to everyone

Gisella -- thanks so much for the info!  Did you mean THURSDAY (and not Wednesday) when you gave that $99 rate for those who want to arrive early?

Also: since I did not go last year, how does it work with respect to sharing?  Who reserves?  Is it two queen size beds in each room?

Oh and re: the $30 extra per guest charge -- is that $30 extra per night or just a one time thing?

    Thanks!

that would come out to being about 49 bucks a night for a room with 4 ladies...plus taxes

and 68 bucks a night for a room for 2 ladies.... plus taxes..

THANK YOU STEPH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we need to address who is in each room ( TRACEY WILL GET WITH US ON THIS) and after we know WHO is in each room... and how many.... ONE lady from that room will call and reserve the room on her Credit Card.

I reserved our room last year and all the gals brought me cash ( and Deb gave me a check).

To reserve the room.. you must hold the amount of one nights room fee.

TRACEY.. when you get home.... let us know how you are going to set up the rooms again this year... Who is sleeping with who...BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

Lilah, thank you for the correction, yes, $99.00 for Thursday for those who want to arrive early.  To make the reservation, you can pm your roommates and figure out who reserves the room and who reimburses who.  Yes each room has 2 queen size beds that is part of the upgrade.

Last year I had a double room but I understand it is $30 for extra guest after 2 and it is charge every night.  So if you are a room of 4 there is an extra $60.00 per night.

I may go back and correct the original post.

Hope I was able to answer the questions let me know.  I am looking forward to meeting you in Vegas

Hey quick question, do you mean "fountain view"?  when I look at the website it doesn't show a mountain view room, just a fountain view.

LOL ok skip that last question I called PH and got all my quesitons answered.  The website wasn't very informative but the lady I spoke to was.  One thing I asked about was a pool, since I didn't see any info on the site about this, the woman I spoke to said that there is 2 small pools, they are 4 ft deep.  The towers next door has a very large beautiful one but it is only for owners of those rooms and is locked.  LOL I guess they must have people try to use it from the PH Casino and thats why she repeated herself twice.  They are mountain view rooms, the fountain view rooms face the Bellagio.

Im really looking forward to seeing you all

Gisella (and Tracy & Stephanie) - thanks so much to each of you for your time in getting the hotel arranged!  The location of PH sounds perfect - I've never stayed there, but did stay at Flamingo (which is just down the street) one time and loved the location!  Very central!!!  Can't wait for October and to meet all of you!

OK ladies, Tracey left me a voice mail message and wanted me to tell you all that she has not lost it.  She did loose her computer though so, when she posts she does it from her phone and did not realize that I had posted the hotel information.  She is once again flying and will check in once she gets home.  Hope you guys are getting excited about Vegas.  I think it is going to be great.

I just clicked on review on the post I made

they have a spot where you can put in dates and get rates...

the rates they show at travelocity are $10 cheaper every night than what the hotel is quoting us

I remember this same thing happened last year

the post did say if the rate goes down we can get the lowest rate

maybe if we mention it's cheaper when looking at travelocity we can get that same low rate...

Good morning ladies, we tried already getting the cheaper rate and we can get it as long as we get the smaller rooms and do not care whether we get 1 king or 2 queens in the room.  I personally believe it is worth the extra $10.00 to have 2 queens guaranteed and bigger rooms especially for those rooms with 4 people.

Jancie, not to worry you are now closer to the Piano bar than you were last year.

Hope you guys have a great weekend.
