Hi Lauren and Candie,
I would like to attend depending on where and when. I live in Rockland County, just on the Northern New Jersey border.
Please post your plans. Thanks.

I am Morris Cty also...although I prefer daytime, any day and time is good for me. My schedule is pretty flexible.
-
Hi ladies! I am going away next week. But am wondering if we are doing a get together again anytime soon. Most days are ok for me, although weekdays are a little better.
Whos in? How about Tuesday March 23rd at 1:00pm?
-
Hi ladies, I was a North Jersey, Bergen County girl my whole life up until 1996. I have since lived in Monmouth County, Central N.J. I would love to get together if it was a little closer.
Barb -
I think the 23rd is good! Any ideas where yet?
-
As long as I can bring my 2.5 year old son, count me in! I know someone had mentioned Willowbrook Mall being somewhat central - thoughts?
-
Hi,
I'm originally from Rutherford, Bergen County, but now live in Galloway outside of AC. Do I still qualify??? I would love to get together once this &^^%$( miserable weather improves! Can you believe we're expecting snow again tonight?!
-
Absolutely! Please do join us if you can make it!!!
More snow?????? Gah!
-
I would love to join in also. I live in north bergen, hudson county. The 23rd works for me.
-
Willowbrook Mall has lots of options from Cheesecake Factory, TGIF, s Bahama Mama type place and I think Pizzeria Uno...not sure of all but a large number clostered together. I can get full list if anyone is interested. All are children friendly.
-
I love that Bahama Mama place - have you been there yet? I think it's fairly new (?)
Anything is good with me!!!!
-
Hi Lauren, I am a year late, but I live in East Hanover.
Anything doing regarding get together
-
Nothing ever came of this.... actually there was one meet up quite some time ago that I was unable to attend but I'm really close to East Hanover if you want to get together!!!!
-
Hi ronqt1 & lauren3,
I'm in Central Jersey and would love to join you, if I may!
I'll keep checking this thread but if you guys are the only ones to get together, could you include me in?
-
Hi Lauren and CS34
Any suggestions as to a meeting date, if and when. Any more people around.

CS 34, where in central nj do you live? For convenience purposes,
Does anyone know Short Hills Mall. There are 2 very nice restaurants there.
Lauren, are you far from that Mall if we were ever to meet?
Any other sisters out there who would like to get together. I am so glad that I found this site.
-
Yes Short Hills works for me!
-
Lauren:
We need a plan. Where and when????
Is days or eves good for you? Weekdays or weekends???? Any other sisters out there who know the area of Short Hills Mall???
-
I'm a stay at home mom so weekdays are fine by me, I'll be toting my 3 year old along though!!!!!! :-) Having my exchange surgery on the 27th too so I need to plan around that too...
-
Hi Lauren, I am unemployed and am available during days. I am 61. I hope you are not frightened by that number.
I see that you are one of the "younger ones". I have grandchildren the age of your little one, however, it should be fun. I wish you much luck on the 27th for your exchange.
Would you like to meet earlier or after the exchange. I know on the 21st I am busy with onc.
CS 34 are you out there?????
Of course, there is no rush, It would be fun to meet.
Hugs,
-
ronqt1 & Lauren,
I work in Manhatten so during the week would be hard for me but I have nothing going on this Saturday afternoon if that would work for you guys. Short Hills is no problem for me to get to. I'm in Edison.
I hope we can make this happen.
-
CS 34, I just checked your profile and see that you are a "young" one too. If you have no objections meeting with an older gal, (me 61)I would not mind at ll. We all have one very important thing in common.
Sat. would be good for me. As of now I have nothing planned, except to go to complex pool and socialize with my friends in the area. Lunch would be nice if we could meet. (Joe's American Bar and Grill???)
Just let me know and it is fine. Lauren 3 - are you there? No pressure on anyone if it does not work out.
Hugs, (if you want I can PM you my phone number). Let me know. I will check back a little later.
-
That's just silly! I have no problem at all. I have no idea how to pm so if you can, send me one and I can reply.
-
I'm here -- sorry! I'm not sure if this Saturday will work or not... I have my Zometa infusion on Friday and last time it made me feel like I had the flu for about a day afterwards. Can I say "maybe" and see how it goes????
-
Lauren3 - Maybe is fine. We can always do a get together another time, I wish you much luck with your procedure for this friday.
CS34 - I will PM you my home number.
-
Hi CS34 - Look on top of the page (blue line with active tops through private messages) You should see something in pink below. Click on it and there will be a message from me to you.
Hope you have a great day.
-
Hi Ronna,
I just replied to the PM. Let me know if that works for you.
Lauren, hope you feel well enough to come but if not, we'll definitely do it another time so you can be there! Once we figure out the specifics, we'll let you know incase you can make it. Good luck with the exchange! It's night & day from the tissue expanders!!! Had mine five weeks ago today.
-
Yes, definitely send me a PM with specifics - time and place and maybe one of your cell numbers so I can text you and let you know if I'm coming??? Also, how I will recognize you...!!!!!!
I really hope I can make it!!!!! Fingers crossed.
