    • Hi all, just returning from Rosh Hashanah celebration.

    Name of restaurant is Joe's American Bar and Grill - across from Bloomingdales. I will be there about 1:00 p., I will wear a Survivor shirt and/or hat. My shirt will say - You are looking at a Survivor.

    I can't wait to meet everyone. Very excited.

    I'm confused!  Is it 1 or 1:30?  I have somewhere to be at 3 so I'm trying to figure out if this is cutting it too close or not....

    I will be there around 1:00.  Candie said she can't be there until 1:30. They will give us a table at 1:00 if most of us are there.

    Hi, yes I can't get there til 1:30 but go ahead and order I will catch up....looking forward to it..bringing my camera so I can post the pics on here.

    I will be wearing a grey outfil as I will be coming from meetings at my Church but I will have pink accessories. I will find you all tho.

    just called to confirm...they were expecting us at 1:30 but will do their best to accomodate us at 1pm.                      There is a "donation request" on their website so I e-mailed a request for a donation to Komen.       Can't hurt to ask.       eileen

    Eileen and Candie, what a nice time we had. Cara and Lauren, sorry you could not join us today.Hopefully the next time a get together is planned we can all get together.

    Cara, we are considering coming to your neck of the woods if you would like.

    Candie will be posting a pic of us that the waiter took.

    Eileen and Ronna, what a pleasure to meet you and have lunch yesterday. Looking for ward to doing it again.

    Cara and Lauren, hopefully next time you can join us. Cara, we will come to your area also. My DD will post the pic towards the end of the week.

    It was so nice to compare stories and discuss our different journeys. Love ya all...hugs!

    I hope you Ladies dont mind an intrusion from an NYC sister....My sister sister who lives in Northern Jersey was just diagnosed with Her 2 Nue positive, mucinous bc and I'm trying to help her find an Onc in Northern NJ ; she doesn't want to have to come to NY for treatment. She'd strongly preferably one who - if after MRI,lumpectomy & sentinel node biopsy, my sister still has only 1 area of concern - will consider just Herceptin rather than requiring chemo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    PS I'm about 16 months out of my own diagnosis. As one friend said, "My family needs to find some other activity to keep us busy."
