Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Dear Saint,
not really able to get on the boards today much but wanted to send my peachy vibes for a good day today. may it smell, sound and feel good in everyway.
Maybe with the smell of fresh pretzels, or flowers, or bubble bath,
the sound of your gorgeous girl singing her songs,
and the feeling of a gentle and soft cuddle on the couch with your man.
Wishing you all that is good.
thinking of you. Prayers on their way.

Saint called this morning and we were able to talk for a tad-bit, as I was just outta the shower & needed to get put together before company arrived.
In any case, she has been feeling just a wee bit better each day this week. Her docs have been in a quandry as to what had layed her out so low and so they've been doing a battery of other blood tests to make certain that all bases have been covered. They're sending much info to an endocrinologist to help sort thru some of the issues.
She sounded stronger today and that's always a huge relief. She was headed back to the clinic today for some of these additional tests. She has an upcoming apt. with her onc, too.
She sends her greetings to all.
Oh, and she told the news of her local-ish sister conjuring up a 'fund-raiser' to help with the Cinderella fund. She told of some of those plans and they include some very creative efforts. What a great blessing to have even more muscle applied to this great effort.
So today's conversation was filled with all lovely tidbits.
And then my friend who came & brought lunch added much merriment to my day. She has written a grant for me to come to her school for children with special needs in Cleveland this spring. How funny that we're both in FL and just a hop, skip and jump from one another. It's so good think ahead and plan towards spring!!

Finally, we are caught up on both threads. You people need to post less. LOLOLOL!!!
Do you realize it took us almost an hour to read back thru??
I feel like this week I am slowly gaining strength..... but as you all know, there is always something knocking at the back door. In this case, it's "bowel" issues, and we'll just leave it at that.
Dream. The radiation fatigue will pass. I think that mine is beginning to.
We have fallen too far behind for me to address everyone individually, but thank you to everyone for your continued support and prayer.
Pray to the "poop-god" for things to balance out. LOL.
Be well and stay strong.

Wow, lots of uplifting posts since I last read through these!! Shiny, I knew each time you talked about that package that it would be awesome once it finally made it over here
Very cool that Faith happened to be on the phone with Saint when it was being opened so we could all kind of share in that excitement. Faith, loved seeing the birds...gives me 'faith' that I'll see our shore birds at our summer retreat which seems sooo distant with all the snow we've had here, and more to come tonight. Hope this coming weekend finds you all in a warm place with love around you. Saint, continued prayers for continued strength to you my friend. Hugs all. -
I am sending extra prayers and hugs Saint. Sending plently so you may share them with others.

Faith typing, Saint speaking:
"Great big jujubees to the poop-god. Keep the prayers coming for staying in balance.
It just makes for such a great day. My whole perspective is shining now.
DH taking me out to lunch. Now that I'm so happy!!"
Be well and stay strong.

Yes. Barbe's comment is indeed hilarious. When I read it to Saint she seriously, honestly, actually did "laugh out loud."
For those of you who just pop in on occasion, Saint's daughter "Cinderella" has her birthday on Monday and the curtain goes up on their actual Cinderella musical on Friday. So the coming week will be filled with lots of excitement for them.
P.S. Saint's birthday is also coming up: March 9th. I think we can have birthday celebrations for the next nine days without upsetting the poo-god.

Happy Birthday Cindy!!!
-
Happy Birthday Cinderella. Enjoy celebrating the day with all of your friends while doing something you love. I hope that you make it home before the clock strikes midnight (there were times that rehersals ran so late the week of the musical at my daughter's school that it was close) to squeeze in a little celebration with your parents.
-
Happy happy HAPPY Birthday Cinderella!!!!
I pray you have a very blessed birthday. It's YOUR day---so enjoy!!

-
OH yeah!!! Please give your mom a gentle hug for me

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers everryday!!

I spoke with Saint at length this morning between my saga A & saga B.
She was feeling 'strong-ish' and was able to make it to church yesterday -- so that's always a great thumb's up.
With Cinderella's musical curtain going up, they will be designating a super extra official day for MissyCinderella when all can be focused on her princess-ship.
Saint's FL sister is set to fly in -- I think this coming Sun, but I may have that murked up. I remember she is staying for a week and will get to see the play on it's second weekend.
Saint is hoping to see it just as often as she humanly can. The parents are always invited to dress rehersal, which is on Thurs of this week..... in the past Saint has always done the hair and make-up for the girls..... but she has stepped down from those responsibilities & is just hoping to have the timing of her energy coincide with the timing of the play's curtain. (All prayers to that effect gladly welcome.)
College son is planning to be home for the second weekend also..... very excited to have him home for a nice visit, too!!!
The new drug she has now been on for a week, starts with an M -- better check w/her for spelling.... has the side effect of helping with appetite. So Saint has returned to eating food, with some degree of flair. Now, to get her entire digestive tract in syc.
They had also put her on a steroid, but she nearly went loonie this weekend, so she's stopped taking that till she meets with the endocrinologist shortly. Maybe she said that's tomorrow???
Can't trust my memory..... so many hours later & my taxing day doesn't allow for recall.
She's so grateful for everyone's continued support!!

Sending hugs and prayers today Saint.
Sounds like you're fixing to have some exciting things going on.
Hope Cinderella's play is a HUGE hit.....enjoy your sister and DS coming home.
I hear you've got a birthday coming up too. You guys sure do alot of celebrating around the first of the year huh? I think I remember an anniversary, DS birthday, DH birthday, DD birthday and now your birthday!!!! And I'm sure one of your pets has something to celebrate...LOL
Wishing you peace, joy, happiness and comfort from your pain.
Edit: Oh dear....top of the page...scrambling to find a picture. Tried to find one with LOTS of color. Tell Faithie to name every single color she sees

spoke with saint for a lovely long chat, while i was on my way to PT this afternoon.
LOL. No Barbe..... the M-word is not MaryJane, I kinda think it's Mecase or something like that??? (I forgot to ask her today -- for spelling & accuracy.)
Haven't read back just yet, as I was in the car today. LOL.
She was to have the appointment today w/the endocrinologist for insight.
She had given her DD, Cinderella a sweater that she/saint had worn when she was in high school, a few thousand years ago. Cinderella surprised her mama and wore it to school yesterday on her own 17th birthday. How sweet was that??

Molly, I'm late with my wishes, but they're no less sincere! Hope you had a great birthday and that it's a simply marvelous year ahead for you. Saint, good luck with the new drug hon ... time for some meds to work out well for you, ya know??? Gentle hugs.
-
Saint, the sun is getting so strong and warm. I can hear spring in the air when I'm outside listening to the birds calling. Gentle hugs.
