We're leaving for the REAL, LIVE BEACH tomorrow!!!
What a Valentine's Day present!!
Unseasonably cool weather continues, but they're predicting sunshine -- which is all I care about!!!
I predict me feeling a 1000% better with sand between my toes!!!!
Another new page!!!! Must edit for picture inclusion. LOL!!!!
-
looked great at the dance!
-
faith, which beach? what city/state? i'm jealous on my own behalf, but soooo happy you'll get that sand in your toes
have a good week everyone ... hugs all around.
-
we have arrived at Daytona Beach (FL, silly goosie)
it is UNSEASONABLY cold here: crummy buttons.
it is to get down to or near freezing, every night of our stay.
we walked the beach this morning in layers & layers & layers with hoods up around our faces as the wind was attempting to snatch our breath right outta our bodies.
we just signed up for a luncheon-dancing-cruise tomorrow -- based on our success last week, with my being able to use my 'arms' for the swing dance moves, which are our favorite.
saint in real need of prayer support.
xx00xx00xx00xx
thanks to all for the continued encouragement of this journey.
-
Gee, that's not my vision of Florida!!! Can you send some of the cold up to Vancouver? You're having such a wonderful time and that's what important. And making new categories, I bet you're even inventing new ways to do it!!

We'll know Mr. Faith if we ever see him, he'll be the man with the biggest smile! Glad you are enjoying yourself. Congrats on the four week mark, Faith!

Elizabeth, today's a Friday -- so now I am officially FIVE weeks out.
You guys will never believe this...... from needing my winter coat yesterday at sunrise, today there was a 45 minute stretch when the sun was out and the temp was warm enough in the sun, with the protection of the building to don our bathing suits.
Are you ready?
Drumroll...............
Can you believe I did this?
In public?
Amidst all of the bikini clad youngsters??
Here I am.
In
POLKA DOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is me in a bathing suit.....
No 'extra' padding.
No fluffies.
Don't have my foobies yet.
No one went screaming from the pool.
-
OK. Maybe this time the picture will work: LOL!!!
-
Awww Faith..........you look So great. I can't even see the goose bumps. Hugs galore.
-
Faith, you look gorgous. Just gorgous! Wow, from winter coats to bathing suit! Now that's fun!!

Sheila: POLKA DOTS!!!
Thanks sweet-heart.
I had my PT evaluation yesterday. Sweet, dear therapist gal. I am working hard to keep a happy face after hearing the raw numbers of how my ROM has been impacted. I knew that I was gimpy, but hearing the specifics was a bummer.
They've set up 10 appointments over the coming weeks -- starting later today, to see what can be accomplished while I'm down here.
So now I trudge forward into the reality.
Thanks for keeping me company, my dear sisters.
xx00xx00xx
-
Don't worry about the numbers, appreciate the improvement as it comes.
You'd be surprised how many adults don't have "full" range of motion simply because over time we lose what we don't use. I bet when you're done with your PT, you'll have more range of motion than you've used in years.
-
Sending you extra hugs and prayers Faithie!!
Git 'r done girlfriend..........just git 'r done!!
I can just see you now presenting a keynote address to a room full of happy teachers.
(((((((((((((gentle hugs))))))))))))
Praying for DD too!!!! Bless her heart. I agree that it's best you're not there.
-
BTW faith you look great in that suit!!!
-
Polka dots for Faith? What would you expect? They are the exclamation points to your life. You look great.
