Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

I'm not sure that Saint would "approve" that I intend to be candid here (on her behalf) but she can always express her non-approval to me later.
We have just gotten off the phone.
She is truly at a pivitol juncture.
Your specific prayers have meant the world to her.
Today I read passages of scripture to her from a book I bought for us by Max Lucado. The book is entitled "Fear Not: For I Am with You Always."
It seemed to offer her genuine comfort, just my reading such familiar passages. So now we have a tactic and strategy for our conversations.
Her tomo-therapy is scheduled to begin on Mon of next week.
Now is the time to pile on with prayers, greetings and support.

Okay Saint, no messing around ... I'll give you a call Sat night or Sunday, hopefully with news that I found a dress for dd's wedding (going to shop till I drop Saturday) and you can give me your news that the infusion made you feel so much better than you did earlier in the week. Love you Dorothy

I took this picture yesterday and picture the two of us together, whole and well.
How I wish it were so.
Saint is having a very difficult time, as she approaches the brain-stem radiation scheduled for Monday. We talked several times thru yesterday.
I picked up a couple more little tiny handbooks at Walmart yesterday on my run to get socks (didn't pack one pair?)
One was entitled: Comfort for Troubled Christians and cost .99 cents.
The other is entitled daily inspirations of comfort by Carolyn Larsen and was only $3.99.
It seemed like having more resources at my disposal to read to her was a good idea. A very small investment and right there in Walmart...... tho not next to the socks.
I wore myself out yesterday going for socks and will spend today surfing our recliner, not wearing socks.... don't want to be tempted.

Saint, am thinking about you. If I was nearby, i'd probably pop round with a copyof the book "The prophet" by Kalhil Gibbran and whatever you fancies and share that with you. (Faith knows the book) It is full of peace and acceptance.
peachy hugs and vibes on their way, right now.

Hi Seyla,
I have a copy, which I read at a very difficult time in my late teens, in many ways, it just says it all doesn't it. I haven't felt the need to re read it so much as to remember the gist of it, which rings so true. I have bought it many many times for many people. I have bought it again for 2 persons this Christmas.
Oups, Sorry Saint! (am such a chatty girl!)
hug xx

Good afternoon, Saint.....Hope you are doing well.....Good luck on Monday and I hope you make it to church tomorrow morning to sing with the choir......Did I ever tell you?...I used to sing in the choir....I was a high soprano......I sang the highest notes in our choir.......Every Christmas we sang Handel's Messiah.......My favorite was "And the Glory fo the Lord"..........I have the CD and love to hear it even when it isn't Christmas.......God bless you, sweetie and I pray for healing for you.......Hugs and love...Lucy

Just got off the phone with Saint.
Today was her "stay-in-bed" day...... numerous aches & pains.
She appreciates everyones continued thoughts.
Her husband had just arrived home with some take-out Chinese -- so we said good night to one another, after I finished reading the posts.
