What a great party......
Glad that I got back in time for some of that fruit salad.
My onc visit was very "reassuring."
He has officially taken me off of tamoxofin.
We went over to see our grand-peeps for dinner and now I am officially & totally worn out.
We hope to leave for FL either Wed or Thurs.... depending on when we can get it together.

Pack slowly, and don't wear yourself out. Pack something, then come back here and visit, pack something, visit...you get the pattern?
-

You'll have other test, I'm sure, throughout the years, but it wouldn't have to be a boob sqisher..........ooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Moral to the story: Don't get tooo exhausted.
Cried myself quietly to sleep last night.
Seeing my wonder-peeps & not being able to hold them really did me in.
Got home from 'seeing' them & had a dear friend call to wish me well -- and I answered it only to be awash with tears......
I haven't yet started talking to my real-life friends, on the phone.
Just let my phone take messages from them.
I just can't handle their being sad for me??????
I will need to re-integrate with people who know me, but that's going s-l-o-w-l-y
I'm fine behind a computer, but the phone is my downfall.
With the exception of Saint of course.
On the map above that Arnie posted, our house is just to the right of the orange, in the top third. We are just off the highway between Gainesville & Orlando. No water anywhere close by (which made it affordable.) Warmer than Ohio, but not southern FL warmth by any stretch of the imagination.
HOWEVER: There is sunshine to be expected!!!!
I think in the 11 days since surgery, there may have been a total of 11 minutes of sunshine in central OH -- and that is not an exaggeration.
For people 'new' to me, we built our little house last year and last winter we got it totally furnished and ready to go. All the packing today is 'my' stuff: sewing machine, fabric, books, jeans and tennis shoes...... not a biggie. DH has already made his solo trip down taking golf clubs etc.... so he's really ready to go!!!
We are planning to be there for about two months.
Let the sunshine begin!!!
-
Twomonths of warmth sounds like a perfect prescription for physical and emotional healing.Enjoy Faith. We are going to look into buying in a warmer climate as well. (((hugs)))
-
((((Faithie)))) bright sun and blue skies.....the BEST medicine!!
-
Florida resident reporting ~ Blue, Cloudless skies...Winds Calm....Ample sunshine....60 degrees! Do bring a sweatshirt for chilly nights! Welcome to Sunny Florida! Enjoy yourself and let the sun love you!
-
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Allow yourself to heal and rest...
-
janetsaffron, frankly I was offended by the colored bra thing....There are many many women who don't WEAR bras because they have NO BREASTS!......A lot of us thought it was started by a teenage boy trying to get women to respond to him.......I honestly don't think a Color of Your Bra "game" or whatever was approriate.............I honestly hope for your sake you have no breast cancer and that all you have to deal with is an infection and cysts........
-
faithie, please stop in Atlanta on your way down and tuck me in your suitcase!.......Instead of "Calgon, take me away!".....I'm beggin....""Faithie, take me away!"......LOL..I hope you will have internet access.........
