    Dearest Shana, I am so very sorry for your grief and pain. Whether you knew your Dad or not, it is a loss. And like you wrote, sometimes it is a loss over things we never had. For me, BC has brought up "remembering" a ton of lifelong losses of "what could have been" and how I piddled life away in many areas. Grief is so very hard but it lessons with time (easy to say). I hope you can find some peace in all of this. So very glad and proud of you because you had the courage to share so honestly and eloquently. I am sending you all of the love in the world. Blessings, SV
