Prayers, Blessings & Wishes for Saint

Dear Saint. May this week bring you many joys. Gentle hugs and continued prayers.
-
Someone once told me that faith is the cornerstone of hope........With faith there is always hope.......
-
From today's Daily Bread: "Our strength and hope is in the Lord - We rest secure in His sure Word; And though we're tempted to despair, We know we're kept within His care."
Know dear Saint that He has not left you and has put your Faith in constant touch so you know He is nearby.
Blessings.

Faith typing, Saint speaking.
Thanks for your posts. Waiting sux.
But DD brought a movie into my room, she watched while I dozed.
DH brought me a bowl of FRESH pretzels. The freshest pretzels I've ever had.
That's all the news for the day.
Be well and stay strong.
-
Awhh thanks Faithie.
Sounds like a peaceful day with your family Saint!
Movie and snacks can hardly be beat! Enjoy!!
((((gentle hugs)))

Oh Saint, You sure speak the truth when you say "waiting sucks" and I don't know even the half of it.
It sounds like you are following the best BCO girls advice thaugh, the top 4 tips on "managing the waiting"
1- Indulge in your best comfort foods- hagen-daz/ben and gerry's or "theeeeee best freshest prezels"
2-best nonsense, light movie, preferably experienced in a lounging position and in posession of item no 1.(see above)
3-best company, surounding yourself with those you love best and know you best. DH and Cinderella.
4-Doing what ever it is that helps, no matter what that is, day or night. Being seriously generous and flexible with yourself. Anything goes.
Sending my peachiest vibes, Saint, Saith's Family, Faith my lovey.

Saint, I hope you get a kick out of this. I forget who it was...probably Faith...sent me the link to this thread weeks ago so I could follow updates on you. I clicked the link that first time, marked it as a favorite, and started following along. Tonight as I was reading through the most recent posts, I thought to myself "Wow, it's really funny how many of these women are truly spiritual, what are the odds?" Then as I clicked to the next page, I saw the name of the thread category!!! I had never noticed before tonight what Forum it was part of
Guess the odds are pretty good that I'd find spirituality in this particular room, huh? LOL Love and hugs girlfriend, and special prayers tomorrow while in church that this new treatment will do the trick. -
Goodnight Saint---may tomorrow (The Lord's Day) bring you more encouragement, peace, wisdom, and acceptance. You sure are loved here. We just want what's best for you and your family!!! I've tried to picture in my head all of the sisters here holding hands with you in the middle of our circle. Everytime we swing our hangs altogether toward you in the middle, you're strengthened beyond measure, your body accepts the healing vibes from all your sistahs. May those vibes be only stronger and stronger each day. God Bless you and your beautiful Family!!
-
Evening prayers for you, Saint. Wishing you strength and courage, peace and warmth.

So good to see EVERYone gathered around.
I am taking the liberty to copy & paste Dream's post from an hour ago, that she posted on Saint's other thread, which is in the Stage IV category.
These words are from Dreamwriter:
I spoke to Saint for simply ages... my daughter came home with guests and I just went into my bedroom and kept talking. I told her about making my first chocolate crazy cake from a recipe I got in this forum. It was deee lish uz. LOL. I told her I would PM her every day and I will. She is a wonderful person going through a rough time. I am glad she looks for something good each day. I hope my pms will bring a smile to her lips - every day.
******Faithie adds: thanks Dream. I just want everyone that only reads on this thread to have this news, too.
-
Saint, i continue to say prayers and send positive thoughts to you. I believe that good things happening are always a possibility, and i pray that good things happen for you.

Saint, the start of a new day and the beginning of a new week. I pray it brings healing and encouragement for you. Gentle hugs dear heart.
-
Amen to what Sharon said.... (((((((((((((Saint and family)))))))))))))))

Saint, I had all my treatments and surgery at a teaching hospital. Having 'extras' in the room was sometimes odd, but what the hell
My biggest thing was believing that they were all trying to outdo each other and show how much they were learning - which I figured could only benefit me in the long run. I hope and pray that you find your new hospital has wonderful caring people there who only want to make sure you get better. If not, just let me know and I'll come kick some ass
Hugs and love dear Pat. -
I pray you rest easy tonight Saint.
Will be praying for you this week too!!!
((((Gentle hugs))))
-
Saint - It was great meeting you for lunch last August. When the weather gets warm...maybe we can meet again. Hang in there. You have so many gals cheering you on! Rest comfortably. Hugs to you, neighbor.
-
Sending many hugs and prayers Saint. Rest comfortably tonight.
-
Sending you Hugs Saint.
Have a Good Night!
-
I pray you have sweet sleep and sweet dreams, good night sweet lady

Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. [NKJV]
-
In all the conversations that Saint and I have had in the last eleven days, I can't remember telling her about what I rambled on & on & on about on my blog tonight???
I'll tell her tomorrow.
So you gathered together here, may actually 'experience' this before she does.
Short hand.
I have a blessing scarf.
Hundreds of teachers have written encouragement on ribbons.
Last week a teacher wrote this on their ribbon....... without knowing about 'Saint' or 'Faith' at BCO.

Now granted, this probably has to do with their unique love of football.........
But still I see the work-of-angels-all-around-us, to have a total stranger write a ribbon that puts the two words Saint(s) and Faith side by side, seems to be a special blessing. I wanted you to see the evidence.

Saint was able to worship at church this morning and also stay to help lead the class for the high school students..... then they went out for a bite of lunch.
She has PT tomorrow early afternoon, same time as me at my onc appt.
She thanks everyone for their posts..... I didn't have the computer turned on to read most recent posts, will do so in the morning.
edited to say: OMGoodness, we started a new page with photographs!!
edited this morning, because the dreaded red x ate the photos: arrrrrrgh!!
-
Saint, God be with You and bless You my friend.
