Hey Billy, my birthday is Jan. 28. I would love to have a new birthday buddy!
-
Welcome, Billynda.
Pure and Billynda, congratulations on your babies.
-
One more week, how are your doing Billynda?
-
IDK why, but sometimes this thing doesn't post my comments:( I wrote yesterday that I live in the HD, and that there's still a whole lot of nothin' going on!!! I saw the doc yesterday and he scheduled me for induction on the 26th. I see him again the 25th and if my body still shows no signs of being ready I'm going to ask him to wait til the 28th cuz he told me before that he won't let me go any farther past than the 28th. So, we'll see! Hopefully, I just go into labor on my own sometime this week!!!
-
I hope things go as you want them to. Are you feeling well, other than probably ready to deliver?
-
I remember how uncomfortable it was when my time was close. I hope you are feeling good. This is so exciting. Are you keeping dry? I'm in CA, too, and we're getting drenched. The biggest storm should hit us tomorrow afternoon.
-
Billy - fingers crossed you go into labour yourself this week!!
-
Billynda - Well, we got Jen (Pure) through her delivery, now let's see what we can do for you (right ladies?). I will cheer you on as long as I can, but I'm going in for surgery on the 28th. I hope you've had your new son by then.
-
Nancy, we will be behind you as well. Do you have a thread?
-
OK Billy - You're Next!!
Keep us posted on how you are doing! We were all there for Jen and now we are here for you.
Nancy - hope things are ok
-
kim, everything's fine. I'M GETTING NEW BOOBIES! Now that's something you just cannot post on facebook.
-
Whoohoo Nancy!! I'm so jealous! Hope all goes well, and I know the new girls will be spectacular!!
-
why not Nancy?
glad you're getting them (i have the inside scoop on the Catholic thread).
-
Billy, hope you're feeling good. Can't wait for another baby!
Leah
-
Whoohooo Nancy!!! Awesome - I'm jealous too!!
-
Nancy is getting two new "babies" Yippee!
-
Well, I'm up at 3am
That's one thing I can live without - pregnancy insomnia!!! Well, I think I may have dropped, but it may be wishful thinking, I thought this once before. It's hard to tell when you don't have boobs to measure from lol. I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning when I put my boobs back on to really tell:) BTW, I'm jealous too Nancy, but very happy for you!!! We are getting soaked out here in CA!!! Soooooo happy though, we sure did need the rain in this desert - even the cactus were dying if you can believe that!!!
-
So excited for your new boobs. I hated being pregnant with a uni boob-at this point I just look forward to being even!!!!
BillyNDA- If you need anything or just want to talk call me or pm me.
I think 3 days wont make a difference but I will say this-my baby was born 2 weeks early and 8 pounds. I think the steroids might have boosted him up a bit?
Also, emotionally its hard after baby comes-lots of old thoughts that I thought I worked through are back. It was almost easier when he was in there doing this with me.
Sounds like we will be starting taxol at the same time-I start next Wednesday.
-
Special hugs ((((((((((((((((((((((Pur/Billynda))))))))))))))))))))))) I cannot even begin to fathom what you are going through, and will not pretend to. But I am here to support you.
Pur, I am sorry that this has been a tough week.
Billynda, dropping isn't always obvious. I had someone tell me that my baby would be at least a couple more weeks because it hadn't dropped. This was three weeks past my due date, and24 hours before he was born. At 22", he was so long, there wasn't any place to drop to. So it is possible that the baby drops during labor. My fingers are crossed that baby comes on his own and soon so moomy can have a different reason to be up in the middle of the night.

I sure hope the little bugger decides it time to take a look at the world this next week. Are they seeing any thinning of the cervix from the Braxton/Hicks? They really helped me -- by the time labor came along my body was ready to get down to the serious work.
-
Billynda, More than a visual thing, when I "dropped" it was a real change in pressure in my lower front. Are you getting that feeling?
-
Billy I am sending you labor prayers~ lol that sounds funny. I think sometime this weekend would be great. So hopefully baby boy will bounce out on his own.
Hugs Deb
-
Billynda, I have been following your posts......Hope all is well and baby Buddy is on the way.......Good luck and Godspeed to you and your littel Buddy........
Jen, please PM me your number or Pm me to Pm mine to you if you need someone to talk to just to vent.....I am a good listener.....
-
Billynda, I've been thinking of you, praying for a safe delivery for you and your new son. (((((((Billynda)))))))
-
Billynda, This rain is amazing, isn't it? Days and days of torrents, wind, and gloom. The barometer in my house has never dropped this low in 37 years! Today was even worse than yesterday. Anyway, here's hoping you are O.K. Thinking of you!
-
Alright! We're moving along. Last nigt I woke up at about 1:30 am with contractions, they've been consistently about 10 min. apart for the last 6 hours. The pain is not too bad so far, just enough to be uncomfortable and keep me up lol. I go in for an ultrasound today at 4:15 so I will tell the dr. and see if he wants to at least do a pelvic exam to see how things are going:)
Last time I saw him (Monday) there was no effacing, no dilation so that's when he scheduled me for induction on the 26th.
Nancy, I couldn't really tell so much even with my boobs on :P but yes, a change in pressure in my lower front is the perfect way to explain it!!!
-
Pure - Ya, I'm half way expecting to be a total wreck when I get to hold him and love on him. Like I said before, I can't think about it too much - but when I'm holding him I know a lot of emotions are going to come out... Thank you for the heads up on that, though!!! Also, about 3 1/2 wks ago they estimated his weight at 6 lbs. 11 oz., so I'm not expecting a small baby! Also, Dixie was 8 lbs. 2 oz. 6 days early (with no steroids to boost), so we'll see....
-
Billy - keep us posted with your progress! I remember with my second baby, I started having contractoons in the evening - I went to bed, and lumbered off to the Hospital in the morning. They still weren't that bad and they were all ready to send me back home when they did an exam - I was already at 7 cm! So hoping the same happens with you - second babies come a lot faster!
-
Yippee! I am so happy that things are starting up for you. Maybe he won't even send you home tonight.
-
Billynda....send me a PM with your addy....I have a little gift for the baby....can't wait to hear if he is born today/tonight.....but if its not before 4:30 or 5 Denver time, then I won't get to find out till tomorrow night after Shabbat is over. Wishing you an easy delivery, whether its today or next week....HUGS....Karen
