Janet - how lovely...just the simpleness of it was a great gentle way to start my day, very peaceful, it slowed me down to a reasonable pace and was so calming!
Vivy said it earlier and I can only echo her words- I have come to feel so close to you all, I laugh, cry, worry and share the everyday nonsense of being women, women touched by cancer in someway and women touched by life. all my love, Elaine
-
Jayne,
Kbug, Arnie, KAK - my thoughts and prayers are with you, praying you feel better .
-
Morning dusty-buns & bunnies of the dust.
VIVVY!!! I think you win the award for the most clever picture associated with dust bunnies. I actually did laugh out loud. You will be seeing Christmas before us. Unwrap it with awe.
JAYNE!!! So glad that you've officially crossed the finish line. Sounds like your skin held up really well & I'm so grateful for that.
ARNIEARNIEARNIEARNIE!!! You made my day -- seeing a post from you. Continue to rebuild your strength **by spending time with those gorgous grandkidlets of yours** Thank you so much for taking the time to give us an update.
SHINY!! I'm sending you prayers as they sort thru what's been nickin' at ya over these recent weeks. Hopefully it is a flu bug that has finally been routed. Know that you are in my prayers.
I'd better not go any further into the list making mode, because I know I would forget toooo many.
All the rest of you have a glorious time, counting blessings, celebrating, enjoying the season's miracles. Sit in the splendor and smile. These are golden moments we're about to unwrap, savor them.
All of the very best to each and all.
And a wistful hug to our "Mom" who brought us all together -- she would be so happy that we have continued to build our friendships and honored her by occaisionally doing something domestic. Mom. Hope that your holiday is filled to the brim with happiness.

My dust bunnies wont go away.... I sweep before the housekeeper comes in, she sweeps and vacuums and they stilll come and frolick everywhere. My personal hell. Must be the cats' fault. Bart and Bandit.... stop. Stop now. See they dont listen.
Merry Christmas from Dreamwriter, her family and Bart and Bandit.
-
Hey bunnies.....get your bunnies now while we still have them.
First come---first serve...hurry...get in line!!!

In in VA visiting the kiddies....no housework for me until the 29th!!!! Merry Christmas, all!!!
-
Joyeux Noel!! Joyeux Noel!! Merry Christmas!!
AaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhLoveys!! You have been such a gift and a shining light, a hug on a cold grey morning, a laugh after a tuff night, a giggle, just because on my second cup of coffee, usually because Arnie or Sharron or KAK have found the puuuuuuuuuuuurfect picture to illustrate our woes!! he he
Then there is Coonie who has got "smuchiness and sweetness all wrapped up" and the humour too. Faith filling my house with her songs and harnessing all our prayers for Saint..
My Daddy was so very glad that I had "found you" and I am sure now he's in Heaven (apart from having tea parties with lovely Angels) he smiles and sends special " Havenly Peachy vibes to each and everyone of my dear dust bunny friends and he has a "little word" in the ear of the Lord on our behalf when we need extra help. I bet, when that happens he just sends 1 more lovely new dustbunnies to the gang to share with us.
I don't want to do the list!! If you all knew how a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-y rubbish I am at names, you'd understand, the name or list recalling is definitely one "chip" missing in my brain which I cannot blame on Chemo! You are such a fantastic bunch of loving caring fun and deeeeeeevine girls.
Have a brilliant Christmas! "talk soon".. got some "helf duties tonight"

Isn't is a great day to celebrate??
I just LOVE coming on-line and finding so many delightful & uplifting messages. The season is a great prompt for blessing-counting. BCO and each of you are at the top of my list.
May you each have special blessings and joy as the week continues to unfurl. I can't wait to get the first report from our gal-of-tomorrow, as to how the day unfolded for her.
And then our England buddies...... and then each of us in our own time zones & traditions.
I had a lovely long chat with Saint this morning & she's had her first PT (yesterday) and that has already lifted her spirits and capability. We both thank you for your continued prayers & support on her behalf.
May you each treasure the wonder about to be unwrapped. Savor.
Hugs and smiles to everybunny. (That made me giggle: everybunny.)

Hiya Loveys, already sent you my wishes but just had to pop in again.
It's nearly 9 pm here. The kids are tucked into bed together tonight, at DS's request; "wait for Santa in sister's bedroom, sleep all night?". It will probably only last an hour or two, but I know it is because he is soooooooooooooooo excited at Santa arriving "in the nighttime, Santa will come, on Friday? on Thursday? in the middleofthenight, Santa will come, yes??"**Also, he asked "will not go pee, must sleep all the night, Santa will come, no toilet". So I had to make sure he knew that it was ok with Santa if he went to pee, just that he must go quickly again to sleep, but ok to go pee" Bless him, he didn't want to go against Santa's instructions "Santa say the children must go to sleep!, no wake!".
Before bedtime, we popped coats and wellies over their jim jams and went out with a torch into the garden on the snow, DH even moved the slide out of the way to ensure that there would be a safe place for Santa's sleigh to set down on, bless him. We gave both kids a wee bag of "special oats", with extra special sparkly golden bits" to scatter in the snow in the safest designated part of the garden and explained to them that this would make it easier for Rudolf and the gang to see where to set down, when the moon light shone on the glitter. You should have seen the excitement in my DS's eyes, and my little DD, she took such care to ensure she spread her sparkled oats in the best pattern possible to ensure she was really helping. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now if the papa reindeer can remember to have his snack before bed, we should be sorted!
God love them, keep them safe, happy and healthy..SAME FOR YOU AND YOURS, MY LOVEYS.

Awhhh Shiny!!!! Your story makes me want to BE there when they see what Santa has brought them. You and DH are such wonderful parents to make this occasion so special. Your kiddos will FOREVER remember these sweet memories!! I can just picture the sparklies glitter on the snow. I'm sure Rudolph appreciates it too! Poor thing! If only everybody else could do the same. I'm sure some of his landings are very treacherous
Hope papa Santa doesn't eat all the cookies and mama Santa gets some too! Merry Merry Christmas Shiny!!! Hope you have a BLESSED Christmas and the happiest and healthiest New Year EVER!!!
-
Shiney, you gotta write a book.
I just want to wish one and all a most beautiful Christmas Day. May the season bring you all many blessings and joy. Peace and health in the New Year.........and always.
You Sistahs mean so much to me.
Gentle hugs.

update girls, and up late also!!
It is 22:47, and we have had 3 chats with DS who is absolutly charmingly bursting with the magic of Christmas, and cannot sleep! At this rate, we shall be up a long time ourselves..
A hour ago he said "will go to bed, in 15 minutes Santa", we said, no, after midnight, go to sleep
A minute ago it was "Will sleep, after midnight, look at the garden, Santa come in the sleigh, the reindeers will come, yes" " Will look out the window-see Santa" we said, no you sleep, then Santa will come.
Wish us luck loveys!!
Shiny.
-
Well it's just turned midnight here. Shiny I wonder if your DS is asleep yet, and if you are able to get some sleep yourself.
I had a checkup with my surgeon today, a little last minute shopping then present wrapping at home. I am about to head to bed, just wanted to wish each and every one of you a very happy Christmas and say a big thank you for being there for me this year. I feel blessed to have found you all.

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to check in and tell you all Merry Christmas! The girls and i have been baking cookies and pies all week. We gathered up a couple of lawn bags full of toys that the girls didn't want any more and delivered them today to some little girls down the street. It was so cool to see how happy all of the kids were mine to be able to give and the other little girls to have "new" things. We have been tracking Santa all evening and set out cookies for him and sprinkled reindeer food on the front lawn. We opened our "Christmas Eve" gift and finally the girls are in bed and asleep. They are so excited about the Birthday Party for Jesus tomorrow that they had a hard time going to sleep.
Felicity thought she could hear the reindeer bells way off and so i lay down with her for a while. She was talking a million miles a minute and then she just stopped and i looked in her eyes and they just sparkled. Next thing you know she was snoring.
I find myself thinking how blessed I am to have the chance to see the excitement and joy and hear their laughter.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas.
