Saint,
It is wonderful to know you are doing better. I am so happy for your DD and I know she will be traveling in the spring. Our sisters here will help in any way possible. I will talk to you soon. How was your massage?
Remember to rest and eat well. You are in my prayers.
Your friend,
Cheryl

I spoke with Saint this evening.
She enjoyed her massage yesterday & just wishes that the 'carry over' would last from day-to-day. LOL.
I've told her about your early responses to the "Cinderella-fund" and she is amazed at the outpouring of support and encouragement.
We're safely settled into our digs for the night. Big day tomorrow.
Hugs to all in the sistah family.

Hi---first I want to say I am overwhelmed at the responses for my dd! I am humbled & touched. I told her about this & she will create an ID so she can come here & post soon, THANK YOU! Every little hit helps! She WILL go......
second--I am happy to say that I am slowly feeling better & NOT overdoing! I still seem to get unexplained fevers most evenings, but I have started taking my temp at 3;30 or 4 & if it is up a degree or 2 I take tylenol right away & it seems to be working!
DS is home for a few weeks & dh & dd will be on break starting Wed---this is going to be a very different LOW KEY holiday we are all looking forward to! May you all have a blessed season! HUGS
be well & stay strong
-
The best way to begin a day, is to see a post from you, my friend.
Be well and stay strong. OK? Got it?
Those are wise words from a wise woman I know.

Sending alot of Christmas hugs. May your prayers
be answered and Your Christmas present be feeling
better then now. I will be praying for you.
-
We were able to worship today amidst the traditional touchpoints of the season.
Glistening candles.
Red poinsettias.
Children singing.
I sat and cried quiet tears of delight for you, my friend, Saint.
Your determination and perseverance in the face of adversity have been an example to so many and your miracle return to us, does nothing but amaze and confirm our faith.
Sending you joy.
Sending you the abundance of time.
Sending you friendship.
Sending you encouragement.

Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Well, in the middle of my Sunday which had already been pretty darned good ... snowed in (24" yesterday), hub making soup, me wrapping gifts ... my day was made all that much better by a phone call from Saint. What a lift that gives the spirit
They are going to dd's Christmas concert tonight - I ask her to imagine that every one of us is there with her, listening to the beautiful music right along with them. The singing starts in about two hours
-
Oh happy happy joy joy!.....So glad dear Saint that you are able to go to this concert......We are all in your pocket sitting there listening too!.....What glorious sounds of music.........Happy Sunday to you!.....

Spoke to Saint last night.
Her back is still giving her quite a bit of discomfort. She had been able to attend church (on meds) and was planning to attend her DDs choir concert, yet last night.
The first "Cinderella-to-Scotland" check had arrived in the mail!! Thank you.
She's meeting with her surgeon today for post-op consult.

Keep those prayers coming.

Today's Monday!
We had a chance to connect for a couple of minutes late this morning.
She was just pulling up to the clinic for her appointment as I called. (She was indeed driving herself to the appointment.)
She was unable to attend her DD's concert last night. Saint had one of her evening-fevers that gave her a sense of being drained. Since she knew that her DH was going to film it -- she thought that it was advisable to error on the side of caution.
I think we should all applaud her being cautious and rationing her strength.
I have just had PM confirmation from a BCO-sister who has used Saint's paypal account for the Cinderella-to-Scotland adventure. So that is one more step forward for that project. Many thanks to those of you who have responded.

Just 'found' a phone message from Saint -- from later today.
She did in fact end up going for a massage today! (Heaven)
They have also given her a referral to PT..... she's really psyched about getting some PT to help her recover from the long periods of lesser activity.
I'm glad that she's glad.
