Saint Thanks for the "heads up" re the b/d of a special "dustbunny friend of mine" (nickname from another thread..) Will do.
Hope you are well and truely on the mend now; that your meds are working that your blankies are warming and that you will soon be back in your own home. Glad at least that you have been in your chosen ward at the hospital though, makes such a difference.
Have another big bunch of my "peachiest vibes and prayers" coming your way right now.

Saint!!!!!!!!!!! It's so GRRRREAAAAAAAT to see your post!! Hoping and praying you're home by now with your family and furbabies!! Sending you the biggest of hugest hugs!!!

copied from the other thread:
Just got off the phone with our Saint.
She's feelin' better, and is hoping to be departing the hospital in the next tidbit. Now that it's evening she's running a bit of a fever.... again.
Since her labs have all come back normal -- she thinks she can handle a low-grade temp from home.
She's been able to be up and around and seems to have more stamina today.
As our conversation rambled all over the map, she mentioned that this special wing of the hospital has allowed her DH to bring their "Alphie-wonder-dog" in for visits. No wonder she prefers that to the regular wing.
Isn't it amazing to come online & find a post from her directly?
Sure lights up my day.

Pray on. Light the candles. Tie up red ribbons. It's all of us together.

Saint, if you're reading this, I sure hope it's from your own bed at home, safe and warm. You've got to be just a tad more patient with yourself and zipping around, okay? Let others do for you, or let it go without doing for a bit. Make up crossword puzzles or something!!! Love and hugs sweet friend. Edited to add - yes Faith, it's always a huge boost to come on and see a post from Saint, seconded only by yours hon

Marl said it all. Love hearing all the good news. So Saint, are you going to listen to Marl or do we have to come to Beloit and tie you to the bed??????

Sending Saturday love, Saint.
You're surrounded by the whirlwind of family, now.
I know that brings you the greatest joy.
Send someone to Culver's for some ice cream cake and we'll have some here and maybe if we click our heels it will feel like we're all gathered round your kitchen table -- like days gone by.

Tie me to the bed??? You girls are getting kinda kinky!!!!!!
Apple---I an a huge Disney fan--I recognized it immediately, but it's not in this play. This is more like the Leslie Ann Warren issue of old (if you are old enough to remember that) "In my own little corner in my own little chair I can be whatever I want to be...."
I am home & I DO take it easy (too much I think) This a.m. DD & I wrapped all the Christmas gifts (not many this year--she did all the work - I directed & wrote tags.) So,except for a few Christmas letters that's all that is being done about the holiday in this house (we usually have 4-5 trees & every room so decorated we don't have to dust til Jan! LOL) There is a feeling of freedom & even excitement in letting all that go this year.....
I'm improvong slowly & moving in the right direction..I just wish my back & neck didn't hurt & I'd feel almost healed----massage on Wed........purrrrrrrrrrr.
Have a great weekend all----be well & stay strong
-
Great to see you dear ((((Saint)))).
-
I know exactly what you mean by that freedom ... the year I was doing chemo at Christmas I did the same thing and it really does feel like a freedom! I liked the feeling so much I kept it up to some degree ever since. I only put up my very very favorite decorations now. Hope you continue to feel better Saint ... will be thinking of you tomorrow at church

-
Oh wow!!
Houdini made it onto the computer.
Thanks dearie. Thanks for taking the time to check in.
Glad to hear that you got the wrapping accomplished.
