Hello all my dust bunny friends!.....I arrived safely at my sister's house last night...We had a grand reunion!...Even my sister from Tennessee showed up!....Her daughter Denise hugged me and cried and said she wasn't going to let go!....Denise is one of my favorite nieces by the way.....It was happy tears for the afternoon......I played WII bowling last night and hit my bad hand on the couch arm twicw!...It really hurt but you know what?....It put the bone back in place like I kept telling my doc that I thought was dislocated!...So no more pain!....And no more stupid wrist brace!...Thank You Lord!.......

Remember, I am on vacation so NO HOUSEWORK!........Love you all!...

BTW  LOVE LOVE LOVE the baby pics, Arnie!.....And Coonie I need that pic of the weary housewife to hang on my wall at home too to remind me NOT to do housework!...LOL

Be home on Wednesday night!....Be good and have a blessed day!......

Cheryl- Sure you can be my Facebook friend! I'll look at my other BCO friends and see if I see that scary avatar looking at me. Wink Surely we have mutual friends!  If I can find ya, I'll send you a friend request.

Coonie - I am so glad Lucky is feeling better.  I pray he continues to improve.  Its very difficult to watch them grow old - of course, I always feel like they will live forever.

Lucy - so glad you had a good time.  You needed it.  I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself - that is a hoot about your hand!  I'm happy that you fixed it.

Arnie - those grandkids are just too precious!  I bet your heart just melts when you see them!

Faith - slow down girlfriend.  I completely understand why you are so tired!  You move move move all the time!

Mary - I'd rather they use local because I hate going under anesthesia unless I absolutely have to.  I have a friend who insists they use locals and when I asked her why she said she would be mad as all get out if she died on the table and didn't know it.  By the way, I liked what you said about tears.

Barbe - have you found out which cat is bleeding?  Hopefully, it nothing serious.

Viv - I know how you feel.  As I was walking down the hall to my lymphadema specialist, I saw a sign that said "Early detection = hope".  So I guess that means I'm hopeless?

I'm so tired right now, that I think everything is getting to me.  DH thinks all my fatigue is due to sleep apnea...he says I'm not working too hard (2 jobs), it's not due to cancer or its treatments....it's because I snore at night.  I'm not discounting sleep apnea..it really does sap your sleep, but it's not what's making me tired.

For those of you who have more clean time than me, does it get better?  If so, when?

Thanks Jayne. I found her and added her. How are you doing? I think about you often and hope you are well. Chemo just flat out sucks.

Kathleen- I don't want anesthesia either. I just wish they could do a little Bewitched twitching of the nose and it would just be gone! The local just kind of freaks me out because I'm afraid it's going to hurt. I love my BS though. She's great, so I'm sure she will calm me down. And my little Xanax will help too. Actually they should use nitrous. Then I wouldn't care at all! Wink

Barbe - I'm awake but then I take naps most afternoons.  You have to work.  I don't know how you do it.

Mary - I know what you mean - when you are under that stuff, they could tell you they needed to cut your head off and you would say "okey-dokey."

Shiny - Hope you and hubby got so much needed sleep.

Jane - you have so much on your plate now.  I am so sorry you, even momentarily, would have cause to think that.  And, no that sign does NOT mean you are hopeless, for goodness sake.  You are anything but.  Big bear hugs for you and your hubby.

Faith - Catch up with you after dawn breaks so as not to disturb the "chaufeur."

Coonie - Good morning sunshine!  How is sweet Lucky and Opie?

Arnie - Good morning to you too - how are your feeling after rads?

Now I've started a list and have left out a ton of folks and I'm so sorry - have a great day!

This afternoon I am heading over to a financial seminar to learn how to maximum my IRA investment.   That means NO HOUSEWORK for me.   It will also take my mind off of any medical issues.   The promise " heavy hor dourves", so maybe I won't need to cook when I get home.

Mum, my husband and yours would have had a blast with cameras and lenses.   Mine was a high tech optics expert and when we travelled we had more cameras and equipment than luggage.    He got me a digital camera when they first came out - very high end, even beeped and talked to you.  AAAACCCKKKK...  all I wanted was aim and click and he was so disappointed, but he did exchange it for me.

I can't remember all of the names and things going on.  Hugs and smilies for all,   Nancy

Sharon where have you been? Are you okay? We had to hold Coonie down from coming up here to find you!!!

Mum, the pic disappeared! I want to see your husband's big lens too!!!! Waaaaaa waaaa

...but I LOVE the sea gull shot, very nicely muted colours. How did you do that? Or do you know? hehehehhehhe

I did a poster of pictures of sea gulls I took, on my sisters Lightroom program when she was up this summer. I called it C. Gull, and have been begging her to get it printed off, but she is "too busy"....sigh.

Got my laptop hooked up to the aux power....as we drive.

My DH was helping to "manage" me and asked if I had my power-point presentation all ready to go. ARGGGGGGGH. In all the runnings of the last couple of weeks I hadn't even given it one thought. The good news: is that there was enough road between Indy (and the sun coming up) and Chicago southern suburbs to get it accomplished.

Don't know when my brain would have thought of this on it's own. LOL.

I'd have just used an old one -- but then it wouldn't have matched the handout. More LOL.

So now we're into heavy, crazy Chicago traffic & I've got to play navigator. The event is up at a high end place at the O'Hare airport.

So everybody take good care of yourself.

    Hugs to each and every.

Barbe: too bad that you missed his over-sized lens. Wowowow. LOL!!

good afternoon ladies...trying to catch up.

Mary- thinking of you tomorrow....another step closer!

Viv- I am so sorry you're having a sad time- I think the fall is always hard (with all the "pink" things going on). We all have bad days - no matter how long it has been from dx and where we are regarding treatment (finished or not) and often its unexpected! Recently I could not look at pictures of my children (or even talk w/them on the phone) without crying, not teary but out and out balling my eyes out.

Anyone who says otherwise is in heavy denial and I wonder how honest.  Not crying and being positive have nothing to do with each other.  Don't worry about others, just take care of yourself, be good and gentle with yourself (cause you are so worth it). Hugs!!!

Can't remember what else is going on but hope everyone is well and healing.

Ladies, I'm headed to bed very nervous about the port removal. I'm such a weenie. Could I please ask for some prayers and/or positive thoughts? My appt is at 10:30 and DH is going with me to hold my hand. And because my clinical trial nurse told me to take a whole Xanax. I don't drive after that because they really affect me when I take a whole one. I'm sure it will be fine. I keep second guessing myself now and wondering if I'm making the right call to have it removed so soon. But I know I am. It's very uncomfortable and I just want it out. I'll be fine once it's over.

Anyway, good thoughts appreciated. Prayers. Hugs. Whatever you can spare. Thanks so much.

    Good night all.

    Mary

((((((((MaryRose))))))) Sure will be thinking 'bout you and sending all the prayers and good vibes I can muster up. You'll do fine. It'll be over before you know it and you'll be soooo glad that port is out!!! Let us know how you are this afternoon---if you get a chance.

((((((Cheryl))))) It seems like some of these meds can cause all kinds of issues. Pain, aches, moods, weight....and on and on the list goes:) Hang in there gf!!!

    Have a wondermous Wednesday!!
