Hi Ladies,
Just found this thread and saw the comments about enjoying the Fall foliage. We live in the Midwest and the colors have reached their peak in just the last few days. We had an all day rain yesterday and I doubt the colors will last through the weekend so I spent my morning taking pics around my yard and views from my windows. So here is a taste of Fall for you all.
Here is my kitchen sink window, in silhouette because I wanted the leaves outside to show up.
This is the view off my rear deck.... leaves are falling like mad today since it rained all day yesterday
This is my side deck view just off the kitchen door
This is the view from my laundry room window
This is the view from my dining room windows
This is the natural berm in our front yard
View down our front yard sidewalk
View from the front porch
Wooded view behind our house
Red leaves from a Chinese Maple in the front yardOk that's it! I'm a photo nut so love taking pictures anytime of year....but Fall is my FAV!!
-
Wow those are beautiful..thanks
-
Wow welcome Linda You are so lucky to have such a view like that all around your house.
-
We built the house 20 years ago. It used to be an old farm place that was sold to a developer for a new subdivision. We were lucky to get a lot on the cul de sac that was entirely wooded. The builder wanted to bulldoze the natural berm and remove most the old oak trees so we could have a nice "flat" front yard. I wouldn't let them touch a thing except what absolutely had to be removed to place the house. So other than having gutters full of leaves all the time and lots of spiders and wild critters on the deck, we LOVE being surrounded by the trees and natural woodland. We have all four seasons here so I love to see the changing views out our windows.
-
Linda, I will gladly come and do your laundry!
-
Great pictures Linda! You do have to get those Spathiphyllums off the deck though....
-
How do you do? Linda Lou???
You'll fit right in here -- escaping with all of these photo-bug-gers.
Gorgous surroundings.
Where are you in the midwest? We jump between OH and northern WI during the summer.
-
Sharon it does make doing the laundry easier when I can stare out the window as I fold. I especially like seeing the deer in my front yard after a nice snow.
LOL Barbe.. Those "Spathiphyllums" sat in my living room for 20 years.... they are artificial. I stuck them out on the deck this summer because we are remodeling and I figured it was time for them to go elsewhere!
Faith I am in Missouri... actually just outside St. Louis in the county. In spite of the appearance of being out in the boonies...I am 5 min from the interstate and 30 minutes from the city.
-
Gee Linda...I get excited to see a bunny rabbit
-
Oh LindaLou!!! Your pictures are awesome. Beeeeeutiful!!! I think I want to escape to your house and I'll even do laundry.
Hugs Escapees!!!
-
