We've had rain the last two days & I'm afraid that it's but the kabosh on our beautiful colors.

Tomorrow is our "Strides Against BC" walk. I wonder what sort of weather we will have??

I have a warm pink coat with a hood, so I'll be OK...... just hope that it's not raining.

We escaped for movie night & dinner out tonight.

Treated ourselves to a meal that included decadent desert.

Talk about an escape!!!

Thursday dh and I are heading to DC; he's got some meetings & dinners and I am tagging along. My sister & brother -in- law live just outside in Virginia so I hope to visit w/them a bit. To make it easier, we are taking the train - I LOVE trains. Later today I need to do some shopping to get some cocktail dresses, dinner outfits...

I LOVE Chicago! So does my DH. I spent 2 weeks there once on a sales course. It is gorgeous at night along the river as all the buildings have different coloured lights on them.
