Thinking Out Loud.....

Ladies you are talking about food. Peach pie with ice cream, apple pie with ice cream. Now I need to get some peach pie.
Last night I almost finished a 10oz bag of Hershey kisses. I put it in a dish took it to bed with me.
I inhaled it. What's wrong with me?
Kbug, I am on antidepressant and anxiety pills for years now. Which had nothing to do with my DX. My life experiences with my marriage etc...one day i will write more.....didn't help. Its well under control now. sometimes I do feel low., but its not the case now.
-
I try to stay busy so not to snack but here lately not doing so well at it. I am working working on a 3000 piece puzzle barely started it. Have to finish before thanksgiving takes up alot of the table. That keeps me from snacking some what.
-
Sey,
I have been the same way. If it's edible I will eat it. I am gaining alot of weight! -
I wonder why we want to eat so much. I was never like this before BC.
-
It doesnt even have to taste that good we just eat it. We will work on that here. We sure can understand all this better than anyone.
-
dee...The expression "If its edible I will eat it" is priceless.
Linda ...Legally I can blame some of the prescriptions I'm on. I never feel full. If its in the house I dont rest until I finish it.
kbug... Yes, lets work on it, and you let us know if 3000 piece puzzle is helping you. Ill go and get one with 4000 pieces lol
Thank you for understanding me. I am not alone.
Edited to change spellings.
-
Well will be a slow go on the puzzle. So I dont eat when I work on it. You are sure not alone. We need to eat healthy snacks but sometimes we need goo and choc.
-
No, you are not alone! Isn't that nice! I often wonder if the tamoxifen makes me hungry, I like to blame the tamoxifen for anything I can!
I eat alot of healthy snacks, like today I had hummus and carrots. I could eat the whole bowl!! I also like goo and chocolate too! I think all females do.
-
you guys are making me hungry........
-
I ate two hot dogs and some pie today. Oh yes and some ritz crackers.
-
You know what my problem is? I eat healthy meals its what i eat between and late night, and the amount of it kills me. Tomorrow I go for my 3 months cholesterol and BP checkup
Hes been my PD for 26 years. he used to be local he moved and I followed him. It takes about an hour by Bus. All the rests are local.
Go blame the medication half of it is true. DD used to make humus & pita bread in the oven with olive oil and dash of fresh thyme. That is very easy to finish and some.
-
Sounds delicious. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow. It's good that you followed your dr, if you really likehim and are comfortable. That's important.
At my last physical, last Nov., my cholesterol was 160. I had excellent cholesterol, which used to be about 210....always. runs in my family. I think the tamox lowered it. See, I do blame tamox for everything!
-
I heard from other women Femara raises the Cholesterol. Since I take zocor didn't effect me. It ran in my family too. That is a good number Linda. Mine is around there or lower.
Sometimes I think about years ago people ate what made them happy and their stress levels were lower too.
-
I'd like to try that! Sometimes I get sick of eating healthy. I eat a lot of salmon and seafood.
-
Lol.... My friend says to me if you ate any more fish you will look like one!!!!! I love salmon or any kind of sea food. I know salmon contains higher mercury levels. Do you eat the wild caught or farm raised ones?
-
Usually I can only find the farm raised, but if they have fresh, wild, I buy that. I was always told that salmon has low mercury levels and tuna, cod, shark etc. has high levels. I was told the older the fish, the higher the mercury level.
My son had a friend sleep over last weekend. They boy came into the kitchen when I was making Chicken Marsala for dinner. He asked what I was going to be eating for dinner. I thought that was a strange question so I asked him why he asked me that. He told me that my son told the whole fifth grade class that his mother has fish EVERY DAY for dinner. YUCK! Kids are funny!
-
I am watching the biggest loser.
-
I was, but am now reading with my son. Or listening him read to me.
-
I love to help a child learn to read. Reading is knowledge.
-
Linda... that was funny. I guess if we were stranded on a deserted island we wouldn't have any problems. When I was younger we used to go fishing my ex used to put the worm on for me. I still love fishing but none of my friends are interested. Because I am older know doesn't mean I have to stop liking things.
Good think NCIS is on auto taping I forgot all about it.
-
I think we could be best friends! I love fishing. I have fished my whole life. I was brought up on Cape Cod in Ma and still fish. I bait my own hooks and take the fish off too. My oldest sister is a commercial fisherwoman! It's in our blood.
-
My first DD was born the beginning of July. @ weeks later we were back to fishing. I used to hold her under my arm. Of course if it was now would be child abuse, even then I was under watchful eyes of people that they dont mind their own business
Oh! How I wish I could go fishing again. You brought back so many memories.
-
My parents had 5 of us in 7 years, so we were all close in age. They would take us fishing on the docks or jettys every night. I can't believe we never fell in, at least I don't think we did. We had so much fun. My parents celebrated their 50th this July and we had an all weeked party on the Cape. My sibling and their kids, all 25 of us, went fishing! We had a fishing conttest. It was a blast. The youngest was 6 and the oldest is 75!!
-
Oh now that sounds like a party. But memories that will be cherished for years I am sure. Hope you took lots of pics. We use to fish alot. Took the grands once this summer. If I had felt better we would have maybe gone more.
-
Have to get to bed soon. I am starting to get tired.
-
Good morning everyone!
-
Good Morning. Just came back from running errands. What a rainy day!! Thunder too. Hope it's nicer where you are!
-
It is a light rain falling but warm.
-
Sun came out really warmed up nice. Yippeeeee. Love it.
-
So windy here. 40-50 mile gusts. I am off to soccer. I bet you won't have to kick the ball to get it to move across the field!
