Teresa I think we are going to have a blast in Vegas...Glad you are coming and cannot wait to meet you.
Love downtown, It is like being in an old Vegas movies once you are in the casinos. I do think one night we may want to go down there at least for a while. I would be interested to see the water show at the Wynn, I believe the name is Le Reve. Let me know if anybody else is interested.
Hugs

Laura- I saw you left a message for me over on Exchange City here on the Vegas thread. I just found it... Sorry! Yes I am interested in coming if there is room for me. Thank you for taking the time to check on me. I was thinking since there wasn't a response to my post it wasn't going to work and I totally understand if it didn't.

Hey while we are on the topic of music....If y'all are looking for great entertainment without spending a lot inside the NYNY (same place Zumanity runs) there is a dualing pianos bar. It sits right across from Gallaghers steakhouse. It is small and you have to get there early if you want a table- but man the place is a total blast and its free or some very small cover charge (like $5). The piano players will play any song for a donation. We could go there while some people are in Zumanity they could meet up with us after. Just another idea to throw out there
Oh and for Deborah who was discussing impants and roller coasters over in exchange city there is a great roller coaster on top of the NYNY we could take her on- (wink wink)BTW-I love Van Morrison. As a matter of fact it would be a marvelous night for a moondance

Packer... I .. for some unknown reason.. must have missed your post... I am not sure who has room in their room.
You might wanna call the hotel..and get another one.. I know there are a few girls on here that do not have a room...
Why don't you post something and see how many girls respond.. then you all could get a room...
Just thinkin''''
LOVE the ideas.. we need gals going that know Vegas a little better....
Daisy6 says your are a blast...:)

Put it out there Packer... see who has no roommate.... and might be sleeping on the street..LOL
OK LADIES..... WHO HAS NO WHERE TO SLEEP? LOL
Ok,. now I REALLY need to get ready for work........uggggggggggggggg
-
Another idea, there is an Italian restaurant in the hotel Paris that is really good. Not overly expensive and really good. Last time I was the one of the servers would sing every once in a while. It was beautiful and the the Paris casino has the clouds and gives you the impression you are outside. Just a thought for dinner. I would love to get a picture of the entire group in front of the Bellagio fountains with our t-shirts. We could post it when we come back.
Just food for thought.
Hugs to all

Teresa - No worries! We are all going to have fun together!
packergirl - I have been to the piano bar in NYNY. It is a fun place.
Also, if you gals like country western, Toby Keith's bar at the Harrah's is a fun place too.
-
Yes I've been to that piano bar too! It's WAY FUN!! We were in Vegas just last month and had most of our fun downtown on Freemont Street! Less chances of losing everybody. We had lunch at the Mirage. It's such a nice hotel! We are gonna HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

P.S. I talked to Susie last night. She is home and doing GREAT!
-
packergirl-I am not sure if I have a room, but I figure I will just show up and somehow it will work out. Is there a firm count on how many are actually able to make it? Has anyone been put in a room that cannot go now?
Glad Susie is doing well. She needs to feel better soon so she can come to Vegas. I have a feeling she is a wild one!!!!!

Hi to all my beautiful TA TA Sister's!!!!! When I miss a few day's of reading, boy do I have alot to catch up on, so....I don't ever want to forget anyone, I send a shout out as I read your story & then try to make sure I've covered everyone!!
Teresa-Power prayers sweetie!!!
Been reading that some of you have got plans here & there and I've got a childhood friend who want's to set up my eveing's with entertainment including Jazzy!! I told him to go ahead because we didn't have a set plan as of yet for all of us,but with all the time I know we will have a hook up & try to work out going to some of the same shows!!
Jazzy-I love ya!!!but......what really happened was that during my stay at OHSU, I was having asthma attacks that were getting worst day by day. At 1st, I thought it was becuase they hadn't given me one of me allergy meds after 5 days-then fineally got back on them, yet I was still having problems breathing-the pain meds were in my PC-long story short...when I got home, it never got better & I was trying ti figure out what the heck. I read some information that I know was related to my surgeon on my medical statis, however,it got overlooked. When I took the meds, my breathing -lack of-got worst, so I stopped the pain meds to see if it would make a difference & told Bryan. I had to remind him that yes rest is important, but you girls know that as soon as surgery is over, they want us up & walking, that doens't stop when we get home!! Saturday it took a turn & I am gulity of not going in then, but thought I had a handle on it,by Monday, it was pretty bad & my sister handed me the phone, I was afraid that I would end up back in the hospital, which of course is where I needed to be. I had a allergic reaction to the meds that I was put on at OHSU which raised my white count, low grade fever & major breathing difficulities. Off everything & seeing my surgeon here on a weekly basis till I'm healed. So Ladies...just make sure you know your bodies, I knew something was up during my stay at OHSU & I tried to tell them. Good news is I'm home!!
It makes me see just how much I've been thru & don't always treat it as serious as maybe I should-I just want my life back as many of you understand. I found out that a dear wonderful friend of mine lost her battle after 6 years from heptias. She have a liver transplant 6 years ago, then needed another & everything was going well, then as quickly as she was doing great,it went bad-she has a 13 year old daughter(makes me think of my life & how much we shared) she showed me how to fight. Terry's family was all around her when she took her last breath on Wednesday. Her memorial is next Sunday the 6th in Olympia, I have to been there. She truely changed my life. God has another Angel!!
Sorry...abit long winded today-just hurting &lying down makes it worst. But....Vegas is around the corner-something to truely look forward too!!!
Thanx for sharing the video...Thanx for doing a group photo.....Thanx for doing name tags.....Jazzy & I have a little surprise for all............If I forgot anyone-Sorry, but your all in my prayers
Take care Chow XOXO Susie

Another with you in spirit
I still have my press contact in Vegas if you want to tap him, PM me and I will put you in touch OK? -
Teresa - no worries at all!!! Glad you are coming!
I am all for the piano bar and any other cheap shows that are out there. I am sure there will be some sort of comedy thing going on and there is a topless type matinee at one of the hotels - can't remember the name of it but what the heck - might be worth seeing. Last time I was in Vegas they were passing out free tickets for that show.
Susie - glad you are back home!
Estepp - I have the same type of alpha personality - I like to have things organized, routines, etc. Must be part of being a military brat as I was growing up.
Tracey - what time are you arriving in Vegas?
-
HI all you TA TA Sisters,
I can't wait to meet everyone in Vegas. I have about 6 pages to catch up on. I will be doing that over the rest of the weekend. I will write more later. Have a nice weekend.
(((((HUGS))))))
