    LADIES - Can we share some photos????  I'd love to see pics of you all with your families, could you all maybe bring some pictures with you to the get together - husbands, kids, grandkids, pets, pre-bc or post-bc, whatever you'd like to share. Could you all please post an RSVP on here towards the end of this week so I can have and accurate head count when I call for seating?

    I haven't heard from anyone else, I hope they're all still planning to attend.  Can't wait to see you guys, don't forget your pics!!

    I've been at Bethany Beach this week and never looked at a computer.  I'm coming tomorrow!  I'll be in a scarf since I can't stand my wig in the heat.  Looking forward to meeting everyone!

    Hi ladies...I just wanted to let you know I've been recruited to take the neices to the Montgomery County fair so I won't be able to join you all today...I'm sorry to miss the opportunity to meet so many of you in person..but kids grow up too fast and anytime they call and want to do something - I'm there.

    Off topic, but one of the topics at lunch was getting notifications from Facebook on applications you do not use.  For example, someone posting then need items from mafia wars, or awards on Farmville, etc.  If when you see one of these posted on your newsfeed, you move to the right, a hidden drop down pops up that gives you the option to either hide all from the person or the application.  Just click to hide the application and you will no longer see any of that application notices on your newsfeed (home). 

    Also, someone was concerned that photos that someone tags you on are then visible to all your friends/friends of friends.  You can prevent this by going to Settings - Privacy Settings - Profile.  Then change the "Photos tagged of you" to "only me".  There are lots of settings on this page that you should also look at.  I suggest creating a list of friends that you do not want to share everything with and edit your custom settings to "Except these People" and put that list there.  You can test to see what they can/cannot see on the page as well.

    I enjoyed our lunch and loved meeting everyone.  I am looking forward to the next one in October.  I haven't seen any pictures yet from the lunch.  Anyone have any to share?

    Hey NOVA and MD/DC girls - need a recommendation please-

    I am looking for a holistic/onc/endocrinologist in the DC area - have tried AIs and Tamox and had very bad SEs on both and am now looking into DIM supplements - but want to do so with a doctor supervision - does anyone know of a great holistic doc in our area - I am willing to drive for great one!  Thanks for all of your support!

    Hi sharon:   I do not know of any holistic doctors.  All of my tx and surgery was at Georgetown Univ Hospital.   

    I also enjoyed meeting everyone, but I cannot post pictures.   I have a macintosh and it has its "limitations"...    Have a super duper week.   Nancy

    Nancy- Thx - I too went to Georgetown for my lumpectomy with Shawna Willey - but did my chemo in Fairfax, and my rads at NYU Cancer Center NYC. 

     Anna - I live in Leesburg too - River Creek - and used to live in London - travelled to France lots - have a great time!

    Diane-- thanks for posting the pics.  What a nice reminder of our first get together.  I have my last radiation today and am getting my port removed this afternoon!  I'm so excited:).  Hope all is well with everyone.

    Yay Maureen!!!!  No more RADS and no more PORT!  I am so happy for you.  What a great feeling to wake up tomorrow and have nothing BC related to do!!!

    Hi Ladies,

    I apologize for not getting these up sooner, I took last week to spend time with my kids and try to do some of the things that they have missed out on this summer.  We spent the week going to our neighborhood pool, they had their friends over for sleepovers and we hit the mall a couple of times.  My anniversary was last Saturday, so my husband and I had a nice afternoon and evening together.  I had a great time at lunch and it was wonderful to meet all of you.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all in October, maybe Mexican???  I leave for the beach on Saturday and will be gone for a week, so looking forward to that time away with my family.  I've had trouble trying to get these posted so I'm hoping this link will work.

    MAUREEN - CONGRATS on finishing up rads and getting "deported"

    DIANE - That's where I'm going too, but we'll head home on Sat. of Labor Day weekend.  I'll wave to you on my way out!!  My husband had to help me with the pics, I couldn't figure any of it out on my own.
