Let's conduct our own study on how we all got breast cancer

Merilee-The candy lipsticks!! I loved them!! I still try to find them but they don't make them anymore- I must of ate to many when I was a kid!!
-
I ate playdough too..... salty as it was....... wonders if salt is a cause of BC

MY mother was the QUEEN of guilt attacks. She told me, about the time I started to grow boobs, that it was my fault she had to marry my father, if I hadn't made myself, she would have been a career woman! HOWZAT?
Sheila.
-
Then about 18 months ago, hubby told me that his mother told him that our youngest (of four) son wasn't his child. He didn't look like any one in THEIR family so he wasn't the father! I stewed about this for months as she'd been dead for 11yrs, then I get dx with mets. So I vote for the mind games played on us at all ages by those old enough to know better.
Sheila.
-
Humm..It looks like we all have the link of guilt no matter our religious background, Barbie and all that toxic candy. I think I will ponder about this somemore, I am going to float on my noodle at the pool and tell you later if I come up with anything else.
-
Sandy, be careful of those noodles. You just never know.
-
Relaxing on the noodle helped me remember the past. I did not own a Barbie, I had to play with my cousins. Of course she didn't like playing with me that much because she could always play with hers. So I was wondering do you think if I took my daughters Barbie and chewed on her right breast, it would be like voodoo and reverse the effects of bc? I can just picture al the women of this site scrambling for Barbies and chewing on them. What a picture.
-
Yes Sandy, watch those noodles because they might just change the chemistry of the pool water when they react with the chlorine.
-
Theres another one Chlorine from all the swimming pools we cooled off in.
-
cooled off - you mean drank.
And how many of us swam in pools where the algae were visibly apparent (and we drank that pool water too!). Yuck.
-
jelly jars, masturbation, barbie dolls and burnt marshmellows, hmmmm maybe it's the combination lol. We didnt' have pools to swim in when I was little, it was in the bayou, which was hopefully a lot cleaner than it is now, or I definitely have the cause in my case. I was drinking a bottle of water one day, and started to put it in the freezer to get cold, and this friend told me "didnt' you read, the plastic is bad for you", I told her that if what I had already didn't kill me, I've had oral, as in tongue, cancer twice before this adventure into BC world, that I didn't think the plastic would do me in, but I could be wrong I guess, but I do need my water and the water where I live now scares me
-
Noodles! who knew! :O
-
Maybe it is the dye in the noodles? I have been swimming in our community pool for 22 years now. I betcha that someone had cancer and peed in the pool that is how I got it.
-
It might have been me that peed in your pool. I did that a lot.
I think it was McDonald's hamburgers. The golden arches even look like boobs.
-
And they're yellow to light up on an MRI! Knew there was a reason those quarter-pounders with cheese tasted so good.

Got up on the last day of voting and Jarred the Man Fan is 75 head (he has 1162, we have 1087). I pictured him sitting up all night clearing his cookies and revoting. Well, winning like that is very sad for the man-fan. Help me win legit and give my son the thrill of a lifetime! Please forward this to anyone who can click and vote today....Let's help one of the good guys win for once!! By some miracle, can we catch him and pass him by 5p ? Help!

holtbolt-Hello!--I voted yesterday and then I voted again today! they let me vote twice! Good Luck! I wanna go too!!! I saw them last year and they are better now than in their younger days! At least I thought so!! Good Luck!! Geri
-
Iam not sure if was the noodles, we didn't have them back then when I was younger. The only thing we had to play with on the beach when I was a kid was those old black tire inner tubes. Plus we had to borrow them from strangers on the beach because we didn't even have one of our own!! I wonder where they have been! What kinda germs where on them?? We use to lay all over them! I must of got it from the inner tubes!!!
-
I agree about McDonalds. During the whole low carbs thing, I was eating bun-less double cheeseburgers. Then I got BC.
-
new thought, what about those "Dickies" brand overalls from the early eighties? I had a pink pair AND a yellow short pair...perhaps it was the strap hardware rubbing constantly across the breasts...
-
the cheap flip flops and how they'd cut into the spot between my big toe and the next...
-
I still eat burnt marshmellows!
-
I still wear cheap flipflops!
-
I still eat burnt marshmellows too, have been known to set one of fire on the stove, just so I can have a burnt one. hmmmm need to go to the grocery store, burnt marshmellow sounds good lol. I'm not coordinated enough to wear flipflops anymore, cheap or otherwise, but did go barefooted a lot, still do at times. Hmmm did that give me big feet and BC?
-
I think the blisters that were made by the flip flops were the cause of bc.
-
I wear the cheap ones now mainly around the house but I think they are better made because they don't irritate. I do remember not being able to wear them years ago because they bothered me so maybe they are making the cheaper ones better now. So they didn't give me BC.
Maybe it was the Ivory soap that they brainwashed us into believing was "pure"?
-
I used too much hairspray when I was a teenager...Aqua Net!!!!
-
I think it was the toilet paper i stuffed in my bra when i was younger, yep im almost positive
-
Or mayyyybe it was last year when i left the eye doctor and ran into a wall,
-
lol Debbie, did you hit your boobies?
