    Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am
    asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
    Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy.
    Where there is self doubting,
    release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.
    Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion,
    I ask You to give them understanding, patience,
    and strength as they learn submission to your leading.
    Where there is spiritual stagnation,
    I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness,
    and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You.

    I have that verse, in huge print, on paper, and taped to the wall right beside me here. That is Matthew 11:28-30. When going through chemo, when nothing made sense, and I didn't know what to feel or think, that verse stuck in my brain, as if Jesus were gently guiding me, that He, gentle, and humble, could show me the way. I pondered every word of that verse, over and over, repeating it in my mind throughout the day, when nothing made sense. I'm through treatment now, and it feels so very, very good.

    I didn't realize that I was replying to a post of over two years ago. I'm new at this. So, the verse that was quoted is, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

    Dear Lord, help me to simplify everything. May I walk in a plain,simple way and do the duty closest to me, knowing the future is not mine.I know I am a weak image of my Lord and a poor reflection of His goodness.I also know any mercy I show comes from the Fountain of Mercy and any love I show comes from God who is Love. May I be willing to help all and also be willing to be helped by all.In Jesus's name I pray. Amen

    Father, you gave us limited hours
    within each day
    for work and play
    and balanced them by the allocation
    of night and day
    and provision of the Sabbath

    I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.



    Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit. Cast out anything that s houle not be in me. Men what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damage areas. Remove all inflammation and sleanse any infection.



    Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body to make new unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.



    And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life.



    I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

    God of our life,

    MY LORD GOD, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it. Therefore I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.

    I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.

    MY LORD GOD, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire. And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road though I may know nothing about it. Therefore I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death.     I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.

    Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit. Cast out anything that s houle not be in me. Men what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damage areas. Remove all inflammation and sleanse any infection.

    Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body to make new unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.

    And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life.

    The Presence of God watches over me.

    The Life of God flows through me.

    The Joy of God uplifts me.
    The Strength of God renews me.
    The Beauty of God inspires me.

    James Dillet Freeman wrote this poem in the 1940'at war time for the soldiers..This poem was taken to the moon by two astonauts who arrived home safe and sound... May this prayer poem bring comfort to anyone reading it today.....xoxo,Patti

    Each of us has a hidden place

    a place where we go to think things through,

    all our needs, all our dreams, And even our unspoken fears.

    But now and then, whether by chance or design,

    Someone discovers a way into that place we thought was ours alone.

    And we allow that person to see,

    I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power.



    Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit. Cast out anything that s houle not be in me. Men what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damage areas. Remove all inflammation and sleanse any infection.



    Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body to make new unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.



    And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve you the rest of my life.

    Just close your eyes and open your heart,
    And feel your worries and cares depart
    Just yield yourself to the Father above,
    And let him hold you secure in his love.

    For life on earth grows more involved,
    With endless problems that can't be solved,
    But God only ask us to do our best,
    Then he will take over and finish the rest...

    So when you are tired, discouraged and blue,
    There is always one door that is open to you,
    And that is the door to The House of Prayer,
    And you'll find God waiting to meet you there.

    And The House of Prayer is no further away,
    than the quiet spot where you kneel and pray.
    For the heart is a temple when God is there
    As we place ourselves in his loving care.

    And he hears every prayer and answers each one
    When we Pray in His name - Thy will be done.

    The burdens that seemed too heavy to bear
    Are lifted away on the wings of a prayer.

    I was regretting the past and fearing the future.
    Suddenly my Lord was speaking,
    "My name is I AM"

    He paused, I waited. He continued,
