Now I'll have it stuck in my head too! Thanks coonie and KAK. I sang that song to my dd on the way to school each morning. Loved to look in the rear view mirror and see that smile as soon as I would start the song. We would make up all kinds of lines of our own after we ran out of the standard ones. I even found a book about it and its tucked away in her memory chest so she can read it to her children one day.

and they called it puppy love just because we're in our teens....... (remember purple socks and donny osmond

I love you, you love me, we're a happy family with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you..... won't you say you love me too!
-
".....Goldie, Goldie Goldfish.......... follow me & make a wish!!"
round & round. round & round.
My songs really do have a way of 'worming' their way into your brain. People tell me that they wake up at 2:13 in the morning, singing "Ladybug, Ladybug, red & black. I see circles on your back." They're all profound, my songs. Heavy duty profound. LOLOLOL. The reason that they are so successful, is because they are SO easy. Real children really do sing along. Immediately.
KAK is working over-time to bring this little minute of video footage to a wider world. Stay tuned.
Thank heavens for Coonie, giving a weekend 'wrap-up' of everyone's whirling-world.
Big hugs.

I just LOVED the date-story. GOOOOOOOOOOOO for it!!

************omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just now got on this page, with my post......
hadn't seen that we were having an acutal sing-a-long, while i was typing.
You guys have no idea. BUT at EVERY performance I 'warm-up' my audience by first singing
If You're Happy & You Know it.......
ALWAYS followed by
Wheels on the BUS
Honest-to-goodness!!
Did so, just today.
Seriously.
Have probably sung those two songs a mere 74,899 times by now. (I sang both 11 times on Thurs alone, since they had 11 classes for me. LOL)
-
AND if it's a really, really young class
I include the Barney song.
tooooooooooooooooo funny.

We're just getting some practice in to be your back up singers faith.
-
BACK UP SINGERS!!
Of course.
I've always had dreams of a kick line behind me on stage.
How high is your kick??
Think feathers. Think glitter. Think layers of gorgous colorful sequins.
-
-
We've been practicing our kicks too. What do ya think?
-
Wow! I think you need to get this crew over to the beach-thread, before the sun comes up!!
-
How 'bout it ladies? Anybody want to join us on the beach. It's under a thread called "Life's A Beach". There's nothing but fun in the sun....no housework either:) We can play on the beach awhile, then come home and clean our houses:0)
-
What? You ladies have been holding out on a beach thread while I have been over here pretending to do housework?
Caligirl- love the new avatar!
-
Coonie- I bought them from TLC. I'm getting nervous about not having anything ready. I don't know how fast this will go once I see him this week. I am dreading the heat of summer too. I can't imagine wearing a wig or a hat or a scarf in this Texas heat. I bought a wig and two of those halos that are hair you wear under a hat. I thought they were neat. I like options.
-
Faith you need your own song book that adults remember. God bless you all,
Coonie I am getting nervous about my Cancer appt, Havent been able to rest.
I better get going so I can clean the kitchen tomorrow. Mom I like those beach ladies
from the 50's. Take care, Debbie
-
My friend used to teach Kindergarten and she taught them the worm song. Lucky for you guys I can't remember it but the kids used to just LOVE it. I do remember thinking it was disgusting. :P
No housework for me today. Just a laundry, do my arm and then out the door!!! I'm going to learn how to use this flippin camera.
Happy day all.
-
-
Mary love your new avatar and your hair do. Bet you will be able to find some cute wigs too.
-
Mary, nice to see you.
Good morning all. GEtting kids ready for school and I have 2 of the neighbors kids here too. That makes for an extra hectic Monday after vacation week morning! Cleaning up after breakfast, syrup is everywhere!
-
Well the yard sale is over, rested yesterday and now its time to see if clean up this week is any easier. Right now things are looking a bit messy still but with all the stuff I just got rid of things have to be better. So choosing one room to get done before I allow myself to peek back in here. Which probably should be the living room since that's what people will see first if I have a visitor, plus its the farthest away from the computer.
Funny how I never spent time on computers except to check my email once in awhile till I found this site. Now even our dog looks at me like "would you get off that thing and come pet me"
-
MaK: School's ready to take your boys back!!!!!! You made it. Congrats!!!!
I've been out for my morning power-walk with my neighbor-friend. Doesn't that kinda sorta count as housework? We walked around our houses and it was work.
Hey, everybody come over to the beach -- certainly didn't mean to keep it a secret. LOL.
-
Sharon. Now I've got to find out the details of the worm song. Can you track it down for me??
-
Here is just one link to Cancer shirts:
http://www.funnycancershirts.com/
If everyone wore one, we could instantly recognize each other. I think the continued heat is gonna keep me inside this apartment today, provided no more fire alarms go off !!! Hugs, Nancy
-
Mornin all!!! MaryRose, that's where I bought my hats.....TLC. They've got some cute things. I wish I still had them, I'd send them to you. I took all of mine to the American Cancer Society office. They give them away to cancer patients. I liked the hats with the small band of hair underneath hanging out. Can't remember what it's called, but it looks like you have hair, but you don't have to wear a whole wig and the hat covers the top. It's cute. And much cooler I think. Good luck!!!
Hey to everybody else. Off to work this morning, but will be able to check in from there
-
Coone, I think Mary called them halo hats. Sounds cute. But I really LOVED the duck story! Too cute to think that ducks can tell time...ehehehehehehe
Linda is going to be bored today with no kids in the house. Probably have nothing to do aaaaalll day.
Sharon, love the new fur baby.
Mary, nice to meet you.
Mom, isn't that food plate someone's avatar on this board somewhere?
To all, back to work then 2 days off! I plan to rake tomorrow. Weather is gorgeous today, I wonder how tomorrow will be. I haven't had a chance to be out in it as I work all weekend.
-
Does anyone know if Cathi is off the beach yet? Must have been a blast!
