She doesn't look very wise either; probably doesn't even have sunscreen on!
-
-
-
That's prettier, but the angry sky isn't exactly adding to the ambience!
-
Barbe - how about you and I go to Aruba, St. Marteen, St. Thomas....anywhere that it doesn't get below 70 degree's. Then we can take our own picture and post it here! Boy do I need a vacation!
-
I objected to the fact that they spelled 'serenity' incorrectly. LOL.
Linda..... we got to go to Aruba last year. Incredible. Have you been?
Talk about escape!
-
OMG Faith - they did spel it incorrectly! I looked at it 5 times and never noticed!
I have never been to Aruba but would love to go. I've been happily married for 18 years - 1 trip to Antigua, out honeymoon and I surpised my DH for his 40th with a trip to St. Thomas! We had so much fun!! He surpised me while we were there and asked if he could please buy a new Harley for his midlife crisis, I mean 40th birthday, so I said Yes! We have lot's of fun on it! Some day I want to make it to Aruba!!!
-
Linda, you do know you spelt spell wrong don't you?
Good for you Faith, I'm usually the one who pisses people off by picking out typos! I must have been really upset about those hands on her hips!
Linda, I've been to Bonaire which is one of the ABC islands; Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Gorgeous but very hot! I've heard Aruba is ghastly expensive! I'll follow you anywhere though
We had the best pizza in our lives on Bonaire and asked to meet the "cook". They were a couple from New Jersey! hehehehehehhe
-
Maybe the incorrect spelling has made her put her hands on her hips.
I STILL like the picture
-
I'm with ya Sharon!
Looking forward to a nice relaxing spring day....
-
Nah, the beach looks wet, there is storm clouds coming in and no one running towards her along the water edge! Now how is that serenity! She looks like she just missed the boat and eveyone took off and left her alone on the island. Probably deserved it, the miserable b....

Thoughts & prayers are all for Toyful today!
-
Sharon - I like your pic--- there are some lovely ones on the Beach too!!!
-
I like all beaches! I would love nice weather but being at a beach during a storm is cool too! My family has a summer home on Cape Cod. I have seen many nasty storms come through the cape.
BTW I know how to spell, spell, I just don't know how to type! That was a pretty funny spot to make an error!
-
Barbe. Funny that you would mention Aruba being expensive. I have nothing to compare it to, but we laughed our whole week away, feeling that it was the least expensive trip we'd ever taken. We used airline points so that was 'free' and then we'd been given this 'offer' to stay at a gorgous spot for next to nothing (I'm sure that they thought we were 'big spenders' and would wine/dine/gamble our way into being profitable for them. You'd have to spend more at a Motel 6 per night, than what their offer entailed.)
It's the first "TRUE" vacation we'd ever had...... neither of us checked in with work/responsibilities. My husband didn't take golf clubs.
We literally sat at the beach for a week and watched the softest, bluest water sparkle. (There were no discernable 'waves' in the week we were there.) It is TREMENDOUSLY windy. Continually. They have trade winds that clip along at about 15 - 20 mph, nearly continuously..... which was totally unique for us.
I have quite a few pics in my FB album, if ya wanna peek.
-
P.S. How ya doing today, Checkum? How soon will you have your 'garment?'
-
Hey Escapees!!!!!!!!! got in late last night. Missed you all soooo much! Got alot of reading to do to catch up...will see you all in a bit!!
-

Welcome back.
Edited cuz I've started the new page...... don't need to say more, do I?
-

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((COONIE)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) welcome back you crazy gal!
-
Do you think it will look like this ?
-
Awwhhh the little coon pics are so cute:) Thank you for the "welcome"!! It's good to be back. You know, I've really gotten attached to my sisters here. It's amazing how you can care for someone you've never met in person!!!
Checkum!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like you've had a hard time. GF, you better not over-do things. Didn't you recently go back to work? Maybe you should take a little more time off. I sure hope you're feeling better. If the pic above is anything like what you're gonna have to wear..............well, all I can say is GREAT GOOGA MOOGA!!!!! People better get outta your way when they see you coming!! hehe
It's so good to see all of you. I still have alot of reading to do. I've read about our sweet Toyful. I'm so sad to hear the news:( Wish I could sit and hold her hand awhile
-
Hi Ladies!
My escape today was two glorious hours with my husband on the back of the Harley..............NO KIDS!! I'm so happy riding season is upon us and my kids are now old enought to leave at home for awhile!!
I hope you all have a nice escape this weekend too!
-
Mak, that sounds like so much fun. We need to start a motorcycle club.......just us BC sisters......
-
See why we missed you so much Coonie! You always make us smile! How did you find that picture of me??
-
Checkum.............who cares what it looks like just so long as it works.............but I'm thinkin'..........ya got the idea girl.
-
Nothing about LE is.........well.............
-
-
Faith, Bonaire was windy too! Our plane picked up vactioners from Aruba on the way home and they were all bitching! Maybe they didn't travel much....? But then neither did you....hmmm.
-
hehe Jo that is the cutest pic of your grand dog:) I've seen others who ride. They must really enjoy it.
We didn't do any shows this tiime. We've been going every year for about 29 years and have seen most of them several times. They have a museum of the Titanic in Branson now and it's really good. Feels like you're really on the ship itself. We did tons of shopping and eating of course. Drove down to Table Rock Lake and just hung around. Went to Silver Dollar City one day. I've got some pics of the little church and the little school room they have on location at SDC...I'll try to post them......
Here's the little school
I noticed that Sharon is teaching today
I wonder if Faithie has evern taught in a school like this...
And here's the beautiful little wilderness church....
This is the inside of the wilderness church. They leave the songbooks on the benches and have sing-a-longs if they get a little crowd. It's so neat to sing gospel songs from a HYMN book!!
-
Coonie, what does it say above the window in the church? How inspiring is that atmosphere! What a beautiful place to get married....
