Lori,
Slow down, you're making us look bad!
-
Makraz...ok...got on scale...YOU'RE RIGHT! Love those cyber brownies....
Sahalie...good news! I hate when stuff like that happens to my computer...I always call my nephew in Reno.
EWB! Wow! That's great! I don't want to lose that much but a good 10 or 15 pounds would be welcome.
Barbe...men always lose weight faster! Grrrrrrrr
Sure am glad I found this thread, love all the pics, etc., makes me smile..
After a two hour nap...after cleaning only three rooms, I'm gonna clean the living room, then put my feet up... all night!!!
-
Arnie, ONLY cleaned 3 room???? ONLY????? LOL, well, I cleaned nothing today.........the weather is just so nice. I can't stay in side. You've banked enough cleaning time to get the rest of the week off.
-
I love this thread more and more...oooey, gooey brownies and weight loss! I have finally found my world!
Congrats to those who have lost weight! I can't wait to get back to more activity. I am enjoying taking it easy, but this is starting to make me a little crazy.
I folded a load of towels today. That's it. That's my one thing. Done.
Barbe, take it easy! Looks like some of you have been very busy.
-
LOL Sharon...isn't it amazing? I used to be able to do it much faster...ok, got the living room done...now I can play
REST OF THE WEEK OFF!?! I knew I loved this site!!! I'm gonna have one more brownie and veg...
-
Phew, thank goodness you are resting Arnie. Glad you've stopped. To be honest, if it would rain here I MIGHT do some housework. It was a long winter though and these sunny days just well, don't make me want to clean. Hanging lots of laundry out thought. Hoping that banks me some chores. Arnie, would you like to come and visit me? wink wink.
-
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, ah what sharon?
-
I'd like to just sit and eat magic brownies with all of you friends.....imagine that....what a wonderful life. Brownies that don't make you fat....and endless friends who totally GET IT.
-
Faith and Sharon, you two are really inspiring. Mom and cali, if we could eat cyber food in the real world, then none of us would have any problem losing weight. Oh, sigh. Sharon, I found your lost pounds on my belly.
Okay, on the days I go to my job, I don't have to do any housework, right??
-
I'll make the next batch of brownies, but I'd prefer chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven (sometimes I even prefer them before they go in the oven).
Kathi - I think 10 of the 10.2 pounds have already been claimed by me and.............I guess it's on the previous page and I will lose this if I go back. So you could have only gained.2 pounds. SOunds good, now eat a brownie!
Caligirl - why can't we eat brownies all day. Eventually you have to clean the pan that you baked them in so it kinda counts as cleaning!
-
That's right, Kathi, going to work is your ONE thing.
-
Refresh me: I s this the housework support group?Personally i would prefer the chocolate cake and magic brownies but are we not suppose to avoid all of this.?
-
Now why would we avoid magic brownies? It makes you forget the need to do housework at all!
-
Love the way you think Barbe we should get together.
-
I really enjoy reading this thread. Tonight I am gonna do a big project.Put my christmas village away...lo. I usually leave it up til valentines day but then my graddaughter was born 2/15..we spent valentines day in hospital. So she has been center of attention for the past 2 months and I am loving every minute of it....but I need my space back for my pics and things. So tonight I will spend doing that. You girls give me the umph to do it..Ta ta for now!!
Hugs and prayers
-
Oh candie! Such a good reason to move a Christmas village...to put up pictures of your new grandchild! I am truly envious...
-
Oh, candie, she looks like a little snookums!! What's her name? And by the way, having the name "candie" is non-fattening. Maybe I should just change my screen name to "chocolate cheesecake" so I wouldn't gain weight.
-
well Barbe with your daughter getting married maybe you soon will have grandchildren
-
CANDIE!! Just today I took my two BIG stuffed Santa creations to their nesting spot in the basement. Seriously. I knew you & I had a lot in common. (Only I have no great excuse about babies being born, for why this little mission took until April to get accomplished. LOL!!)
I would have done well several generations ago -- with back porch friends who baked and chatted the afternoon away. This way we can have friends all over da place & eat all day & all night, too.
MaK..... I just eat the cookie dough before it ever hits the cookie pan (saves some of the clean up) but haven't succomb'd to such delights lately.
I'm sure willing to share creativity & I'll willing to bet that KAK is too!! The more the merrier.
-
Shiny welcome for all you new friends!
-
Faith, so glad I am not the only one putting xmas stuff away..lol
Kak, her name is Marley Marie...and she is a cutie
Barbe, when is your daughter getting married?
Hi Lori
Mom2two what a gorgeous flower!!
Well, I got the village put away inthe basement. Now for a snack as I prowl around here and then off to bed.
Sweet dreams!!
Hugs and prayers
-
Candie.... I had no intention of confessing, but being in such good company, I didn't think you were the only one a tad behind............... LOL.
-
This pretty much sums me up!
-
faith and candy: Does this mean I need to finish taking down my Christmas wreaths that are still in the windows????????. Hmmmmmm. Maybe tomorrow, or the next day........
Housework is definitely not high on my priority list but I can actually say I washed the kitchen floor..... first time in almost 2 months.
-
HAHAHAAHHAAHAHA, oh Faith, eating the raw cookie dough before it hits the pan to save on clean up! I love that! I also love raw cookie dough. Didn't out mothers teach us it would give us worms or something. (was that 'cause of the raw egg or is that just so we wouldn't eat it?) That is the Tip of The Day. You win the prize, drumroll, (mom, this is where you have to come up with another trophy)
Candie, my daughter is getting married in May and my son in August! I swear that's one (two?) of the only things getting me through this bullshit.
-
Candie - I know from Christmas villages and you should have banked considerable housework hours. I put up the Halloween village in September and it is a pain in the neck. Haul everything up from the basement, unbox it all, set up the table, dress the table, set up the display only to take it down, re-box everything, undress the table and carry it all back downstairs. Whew! I just didn't have the stamina for the Christmas Village - besides I was busy learning I had breast cancer and having a bilateral mastectomy.
Barbe - glad everything went okay for you re scar revision. You will make a beautiful mother of the bride and mother of the groom!
-
Marley is beautiful! Can't wait to see more pictures of her.
Mom used to tell me I'd get samonella poisoning if I ate raw cookie dough. We, I gotta tell you, I think I eat more raw than actually go in the oven. Maybe that's why I rarely get sick. I have so much going on in my stomach, new germs are just laughed at!
My mom also made meatballs with her hands and then would touh something I was about to eat. Today you could die from that. I bet you could back then to but we didn't put 2 and 2 together.
I'm cleaning upi the kitchen after son #1 and working on #2. Then I have to shower and go to the grocery store. Neighbors Mom died and I am sending over three dinners for the weekend so they don't have to do anything. That should keep me busy, and messy!
Barbe - 3 of my sibling got married within 4 months of each other, just as me and my younger sister were graduating from college. When my younger sis graduated from college, it was on Fathers Day. We all laughed and thought that was the best present Dad could ever get - the last bill for college! I could never figure out how my Dad paid for all that. Then me and younger sister got married with in 3 months of each other.
Have a great day!
-
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
just marking my spot
today I must go to "work" (which everyone else would consider "play" but I'll call it work, so you don't expect me to do my 'one thing')
will read back later in the day
keep on chuggin'
-
Morning gals. Ready with those dust rags? I think I'm doing some carpet cleaning today for my one thing.
-
