Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I sit on my a@@ in the car for my 2 hour commute and then at work for 8 and then of course when I come home I'm exhausted.....
I love the sound of that book! I'll have to look it up when I get off my a@@.
I have stopped drinking completely since my surgery so I account for the pant sizes for that. But where the heck are the pounds? I'm thinking my middle...hmmmmm.

Thank you for the welcome! Thank you for the PLATE of brownies momoftwo...my son just got up to go to work and asked me why my face was all brown and gooey...
WHAT HAPPENS in cyberworld stays in cyberworld. Right ladies! ha! Thank you faithandfifty I've only lost two, but after eating a whole plate of brownies I'm afraid to get back on the scale! Hugs to all, Janet
-
Just a minute ladies I'm gonna take a peek at the real world to see if the cyber cleaning is working yet.
-
Welcome Janet ! Cyber brownies have no fat and calories!! You can get on that scale!

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for your help yesterday. Your suggestion was right on with my relative wizard. The magic trick was to press ctrl*alt*delete until the task manager box came up. It did and after a couple clicks I was back in action.
Then I did a Norton check. All clear.
I also want to wish you all the best and home comforts while going thru chemo.
*
Barbe. Wishing you a free and easy day of it. I haven't read back but caught a glimpse of a surgery?! And a wedding! We are in the throws of planning a wedding here too.
MOM. Cannot see your picture.
Housework. Time to make bed. It's sunny but cold this morning. Winds knocked down trees all around the town yesterday. I heard siren after siren going off yesterday.
-
Sahalie, where do you live? Cathi had horrid storms and tornados in Florida.
AHEM. I folded AND put away two small laundry baskets of socks and underwear. Ta da! Only because I am bored and aren't allowed to drive till tomorrow!
-
Barbe, the butler is supposed to do that.
-
California. Crazy Mother Nature is messing our globe up. Ice flows melting. East coast and central states going thru devastating storms and floods.
Our sunshine state needs rain big time. Water rationing on the agenda again and even if we make our table limit the news is we will still have a rate hike in our water bill.
I haven't made the bed yet but forget the bed I'm on my way out to mow the lawns.
BARBE. Pamper yourself today.
R&R today for you.

I went to IRS office, 2 banks, Walmart and Harmon's for skin/body care items for dd, and cleaned breakfast dishes. I am especially tired and especially uncomfortable/painful last few days (weather related pain I think). Since I have done somethings today and yesterday, I think I will take extra long nap this afternoon. Dinner is easy crockpot some thing. Tomorrow I will need to clean ds's room for my sister who is coming to visit.
Please don't hit me but....I am down about 30 some lbs, not really sure what I've done or not done; do have to say it is nice to fit into clothes comfortably again.
Hope everyone is safe, and healing
-
Sahalie, we have had a ton of rain lately so I'm having a pipeline laid down all the way to you, then all I have to do is turn the knob and wah la, you have water! See how easy life is in cyberworld?
-
EWB Good for you! I hope it is a healthful weight loss. Good timing for good weather. You done good.
-
Coonie and Shiny are you having fun? We miss you.
-
Its not bad, I'm eating lots of veggies, fruits, rice, beans, etc (ocassional junk food -- but am finding that I do not tolerate chips, dips, pizza, fried things, etc very well gets ugly). But I did all that before. Doc is not concerned, blood work is good etc. Frustrated with lack of ability to be as active as I had been. Oh well , there is always something.
Barbe- how are you feeling today? Thoughts are with you, please be gentle with your self and relax.
-
EWB, I'm doing fine, just pi$$ed at the weight gain. I think I have to cut down on protein. I've tried a no-carb high protein diet and my brother lost 75 pounds, but it's obviously not working for me. I don't eat a lot of carbs normally, I don't care for them really (I know, I'm lucky). Maybe that's the trick. You have to eat what you don't like so you don't eat as much! HUH! I think I just figured it all out! Y'all can follow my diet for no extra fees and the bill will NOT be in the mail!
Keep up the good work EWB, your doctor must be very proud of you. I should lose at least 30 if not 50 pounds.....sigh.
-
My goodness:
Sharon!! 15 pounds
EWB!!!!! 30 pounds
Congrats on making such a significant change to support your wellness program!!
Sharon knows of my "SLOTH" like nature and she's been encouraging me to get my tookis into gear, but I had no idea she was seeing such progress!! That girl just never toots her own horn. Congrats all around. Keep it up.
-
Barbe. Seriously find that 'book-on-CD' that I mentioned and listen to it as you drive back and forth to work..... you'll have it listened to in about a week.
Visualize the Thinner Peace.
ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-
Sharon, I missed the 15 pounds! WOW! Was that from rushing over here to help me with my housework? How did you do it?
-
Barbe
Glad to see you are back and doing well......but back to work already ?????? won't work give you some time off. Well if not WE all give you the next week off of chores, that means doing absolutley nothing around the house, not even your one thing.
Congrats on losing weight. I guess to do that I would have to actually get the motivation to exercise( I think that is a four letter work)
Lori
-
Lori don't be so hard on yourself, You're exercising those little fingers even now
-
Barb - glad you are going well. I think I eat all your extra carbs. I could live on them! I don't but I could!!
Lot's of laundry today. I did a couple hours of yard work too. It's so nice to be outside. It's about 50 but very windy today. Better than 30 and windy!! I think we turned the corner!
-
Exercise is an 8 letter word! That's TWICE as bad as a four letter word.
-
Kak and Faith I think you two should share some of your creativity with us. It always amazes me how talented and interesting people are.
-
LMAO that is funny barbe
-
-
Good one Barb!!
-
Don't count on it Linda. We are chilly and windy here in Kentucky today and I think it usually heads your way soon after.
Since the cyber cleaning didn't work, I actually had to get busy and do several loads of laundry myself. Woke up at 3am again so took that opportunity to get the bathroom cleaned up. Now I've set my goal on getting the bedroom back in shape. (Didn't I just go through this?) Anyway last night hubby was trying to figure out how he could spend extra time helping me keep up with the house work since I've been so tired lately and I realized he has had to do so much already that it gave me the umphhh to try harder. So now I'm gonna tackle the bedroom and get it done. Will check back in later.
-
You're right Mom, maybe the winds will change!
I loaded, started and emptied the dishwasher and washed the kitchen floor. Off to the bus stop soon.
Linda
-
I moved the folded laundry around but didn't actually DO anything with it..........as in put it away.
-
Hey I put the towels in the dryer that I washed last night.
And I washed some pots from dinner last night
-
Kudos to us Lori. Time to put our feet up.
