I was wondering where you were at too Cali.
Sharon I know what you mean, I probably should have called the theatre back and asked them what they were thinking not to let everyone know how serious the situation was. Some of the tv viewers got great photos of one of the tornados that touched down in the town next to us. It was pretty large too! The Spring always is quite exciting this time of the year.

Welcome
-
Happy Birthday Kathi!! I love the new avatar but..................I miss those AWESOME shoes!!
I hope you are having a great day and doing something fun!! It was such a beautiful day. I ordered that special for your birthday!!
Happy Birthday and many more!!!!!!!!!!
It's amazing to hear how many of my sistahs ride! I love it but usually people think I am crazy for getting on the back of a bike. We are careful and have fun! See you out on the open road!!
-
Wow! Wow! Wow!
That's what I call a real welcome!!
It's great to follow the signs and know where I belong. LOL.
[Yes, Coonie. I wrote this on my DD2's beach/lawn last weekend, just in case I'd need it....
just for an occaision such as this.]
-
BTW - does anyone get Cure magazine??? There is an excellent article in this months edition about Stacey Thayer. She is one of our sistahs. She rides a Harley and does several fundraisers. Not sure if the article is online or not, but it's worth checking out. Maybe google Cure mag and Stacey Thayer?? Congrats to Stacey for all she does for us!!
-
MaLinda. I bought my DH a motorcycle for his birthday as a surprise..... so it's actually 'registered' in my name! LOL. So therefore I get all of the 'bike' catalogs.
I just ride along for the fun. Have no desire to ever drive one, but the view is extra-ordinary.
-
Cool Faith!!! You never know when you will need something like that
Hey, your name is even on a road sign!!! How cool is that????????
Hey Linda......I've got that magazine and read the article. It's really neat. Makes me want to trade my 4-wheeler in for a motorcycle:)
-
Oh.....here's the money I owe to whomever for club fees.....I THOUGHT I had mailed it, but I just found this in my purse. Linda? Sharon?.....
-
Thanks Coonie - Can always use the cash!! Don't tell Sharon!
Regarding the article in Cure mag - it's amazing that Stacey befriended someone on BC.org and when the women passed away, she willed Stacey her Harley. Amazing how much we touch each others life!!
-
The pic of all of them together looks so neat. They really seem to have a close bond. I think I even see one lady with BLUE hair
-
I read that article at the doctor's recently, Linda. I loved it.
Coonie, love the "bunny-money."
-
The article says there was only 9 miles on the bike when it was delivered to Stacy..
If others don't have this magazine, you can read the story at
www.curetoday.com/warrior_survivors
It's really neat!
-
hehe yeah Kak....I guess it is bunny money
-
Never even noticed the lady with the blue hair, but I certainly do now. What ever floats your boat!! Thanks for sharing the link!
-
wow, just read that article about the motorcycle rides. Have any of you heard of First Descents?? It's a summer camp for young cancer survivors. There are weeks available all over the country in top resorts. Here is the link... www.firstdescents.org

I'm VERY impressed. I want to see a pic of you riding your new bike:)
Please
-
Coonie, that's not quite what I had in mind. Is that even worth the same as Canadian money?
LINDA!!!!!!!! What are you saying? I though WE were going to "keep the books straight" together........wink wink.
Okay everyone...........any further cheques payable to me only!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-
ROTFL HAHAHAHEHEHEH
Edit: to add that it said IMAGE NOT AVAILABLE at first
-
LMAO Get your motor runnin'. Head out on the highway........
-
Sharon, do you realize that you are nearing 6,000 posts!!!
That will call for a major speech and a large cash award!
-
Well, send me the cash first and I'll see what kind of speech I can come up with.
Gosh, obviously I need to get a life.
-
Welllllllll.....you could pay me to write your speech for you:)
-
Why I don't ride motorcyles
-
hehehehe, I popped a wheelie while I was in training to get my motorcycle license. I loved my bike! We each had one, but with Chatter-boxes in our helmets so we could talk back and forth. Got rid of them and traded them in for stainless steel appliances when we bought our first house....sigh.
I used to say it's the closet that man can get to flying without wings. Then I heard that on a Six Feet Under show and don't say that anymore. I also don't ride anymore. I hate being behind someone and never took any of the kids on the back of mine. Makraz, I think you need to get your own bike! If you like it on the back, the front will blow your mind!
-
Sharon-0 we can share, I'll take all the cash and checks, you can take credit card orders!
Kathleen - if the Tamox has me gain any more weight, that's picture is going to be of me on the back of DH's Harley!! UGH!!
-
I am busy downloading pic's from the camera and up dating my FaceBook for friends and family, so thought I would stop by quick and show a new picture of Margo, the vet said Wednesday she is @ 5LPS, he thinks she will top out between 6-7.5, her dad weighs in @ 4Lps her mom at 7(when not pregnant). Happy Easter Everyone!!!!
-
Barbe - I used to ride dirtbikes as a kid and teenager. I'm old now and being on the back is just fine with me. Someday I may get one. Just need the kids to grow up a little more. They nay actually want us to pay for college too. bike....college....bike....college...bike sounds like more fun to me!
-
Awwhhh we can talk about money problems and motorcycles in a minute. I need to look at the cute little Margo. I haven't seen her in awhile. Cathi, she's really grown some since her last post. She's so cute!! I bet she easy to carry around in a purse or something, huh?
Barbe did you ride that motorcycle over here after the wedding shower? How was the shower by the way? Did she like the gift of the house we gave her? I really hope so. I forked out $5 for that gift.
Hey Linda............I think the words go together bike/college.....they can ride their bike around the college campus:)!! THERE!!! Solved that problem, now didn't we?
