In illness and pain, during moments of anxiety, weakness, and discouragement, I turn to You, Helper of the helpless. You know my every need, but since You said to Ask, Seek, and Knock, I beg You for these very special graces;

Today prayer is for Pam the shop momma and her mom and NY Janet's SIL---



I was so weary,

so tired of the fight.

I hadn't any strength left,

I had no relief in sight.



I could not continue on.

The pain was to much to endure.

Then I realized Jesus was there

and in His hands, He held the cure.



At my lowest valley

He met me there,

so that through the darkness

He could show me He cares.



He holds my hand

and guides me along.

He gives me the strength

to keep me strong.



He puts a rainbow at the end

of the tunnel just in sight

so that through the dark shadows

I could see His shining light.

This prayer was written by Father Larry Hess when he was struggling with cancer..


I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live
under your power.

Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what
is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any
blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body
to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will
function the way you created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so
that I may serve you the rest of my life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Open our minds and our hearts and our whole being of awareness to your healing presence, as we seek ways to walk together on our journey through life... I call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live
under your power.

Father, I ask you now to touch me with that same power. For if you created me from nothing, you can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what
is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any
blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of your healing love pass through my body
to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will
function the way you created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so
