I think Europe or Canada would benefit greatly by having you live there Donna.  However, before packing up and moving, you might want to research their breast cancer mortality rate due to socialized healthcare.  The death rate is 66% due to the delay in treatment.

So before you run off at the mouth about something you are obviously uneducated about, perhaps a little research will keep you busy.

Shirley, I did see the manikin of Palin, and no doubt if that had been an "obama" look-a-like, guy would have been arrested, not just asked to "take it down".

    Moody,

Welcome, and I do think your correct.  The guy would have arrested, now that I think about it.

Another thing that needs to happen.  Barney Frank and the role he played in keeping everyone invested in Freddie and Fannie should really be investigated.  Everyone of them who was suppose to be on the oversight committee should be investigated.

'View' Panel Unanimous: Palin Noose an Outrage

    By Justin McCarthy | October 28, 2008 - 14:00

Unlike the network morning news shows, the Sarah Palin hanging in effigy was covered by, surprisingly, "The View." On the October 28 edition, the panel, as they should be, was unanimous in condemning inflammatory Halloween decoration. The best remark came from, yet another surprise, Joy Behar. Hinting at media double standards Behar cried "if they had done it to Obama, it would cause a tremendous hoopla."

Behar, who normally attempts to play the equivocation game, offered no such attempt on this subject adding "as much as I disagree with her politics, it's outrageous. It's stupid." The others chimed in as well as Whoopi Goldberg asserted "you just don't do that." Sherri Shepherd raised concerns about Sarah Palin's children. Elisabeth Hasselbeck declared "it's not even worth hearing what [the house owner] has to say."

Donna, I can't speak for the McCain supporters, but as a Canadian I can tell them that they wouldn't be a whole lot better off if they came to Canada if Obama is elected.  That's the problem for the rest of us these days - whatever the U.S. does affects us all.  So if Obama messes up the economy more and does something to mess up the Middle East (or if someone or some other country just decides to "test" him), we'll probably feel it as much here as you do in the U.S..  On the other hand, you'd be okay if McCain is elected and you flee to Canada (or Western Europe).  His plans are more likely to help the economy and build stability in the Middle East.  Canada and Western Europe would benefit from that.  Ah, I'm forgetting....  one benefit that you all would get in coming here, regardless of who is elected, is universal heathcare. That's something that neither of your candidates is planning to implement.

Shirley, I have to say that I'm a bit upset.  I was the original troll on the Obama thread.  And now it seems that I've lost the title to you.  I feel sad about that.  But I suppose I only have myself to blame. I guess I gave up the title by refusing to read the Obama thread.  It's not that I wouldn't be happy to post there and annoy some of them (and why it is that facts annoy them so much?) but there is only so much toxicity and hatefulness that I'm willing to subject myself to, and unfortunately I more than filled my quota in the short time that I did spend on that thread.   So, Shirley, it is over to you then.  Do me proud.

Edited to add:  Moody, you need to check your numbers.  BC mortality rates vary by country but there are several European countries with lower rates than the U.S..  Canada, as I recall, has about the same rate as the U.S. (within a couple of decimal points, I believe).  As for cancer deaths overall, many countries have lower death rates than the U.S..  And Canadians, both men and women, have a longer life expectancy than Americans.

Summer, I saw the YouTube video from The View.  I don't watch The View, but  I was very proud of the women for bringing it up and saying that this is just wrong.  One can view it as violence against a woman.  I think it's extremely distasteful to have ANY real human "figure" hanging from a noose.  Even Barney, Pelosi, Dodd or Reid.

Beesie, I don't know how often I will make you proud because I normally do not read a whole lot over there.  Sometimes I skim the posts.  Nothing new.  Just the same ole, same ole.  Rather boring.

It happens to be that we are not trolls.  We are a member of this board.  If I were a real meanie I'd PM the mods and ask them to read some of their posts and ours.  But I don't believe in wasting the mod's time, plus I don't want our threads removed.  When I was on another forum things would get heated, someone would get angry, mods were notified, and the whole darn thread was either locked or deleted.  I hated that.  Then I'd wonder what the heck happened.  So, I will try to be mature about it and let them rant, rave, giggle, call names, anthing they want to do.  I'm pretty thicked skinned.

I certainly hope no one feels chased out of their country because they don't like whomever is chosen to lead this nation.  I'm still waiting for Alex Baldwin to leave.  Isn't he the one who promised he'd leave if Bush was voted in again?  We have a great country unless we let some of the idiots ruin it for us.  I hope there will be an uprising, marches whatever if Congress tries to screw around with 401Ks.

    Your troll buddy,

    Shirley

I think I'm getting a better handle on why McCain is taking so much time in PA.

First of all, I remember reading that Obama smugly said he'll take the offense in States that are traditionally red, making John spend too much time in them to defend them.

Instead there seems to be a little weakness showing in PA for Obama, so McCain is doing to Obama what Obama wanted to do to him.  I love it.  So instead, Obama is spending more time in PA then he wanted to do to defend his position in a traditionally blue State.

Through door knocking they found this:

"McCain's political director, Mike DuHaime, said that the campaign, which operates a "Democrats for McCain" headquarters in Scranton, has detected greater unease with Obama among Democrats as part of the McCain campaign's direct contact with voters - in phone calls and door knocks - than is evident in media surveys showing sizable leads for Obama".

    And there we have it.

Ibc, it's good to read your home and comfy.  I can't wait till Cam can get online to tell us all.

    Shirley and Beesie,

They must have loved the term so much and thought themselves so clever that at this point, they <-------------- are calling anyone who doesn't agree with them 100% a troll.  Yesterday, someone had the audacity to ask them to be kinder and less nasty since this is a breast cancer support board, and they called her a troll.

    IBC,

Glad to hear that you and Cam are home.  Prayers will continue.

Well, all trolls are welcome here, first or second post doesn't matter to us.  We seem to have a bevy of them anyway.  Shirley, Bessie are arguing for the number one position and Pam is in the running big time.  Now that I think about it, I'm the only person here not a troll.  I'm insulted.

I just hope my name isn't ruined by other people PMing their "friends" and letting them know how awful trolls are.  I think I'll start my own thread after this election..SUBJECT:  I AM NOT A MONSTER!  LOL  Yep, some of us may have said a couple of things we wished we wouldn't have, but I can show you much more comments that come from a different thread (<---------------------------------).  Women calling women vaginas (and laughing about it and going along with it) are sexist....I don't care HOW you try to explain why you use Vagina. There's no excuse for it just as there is no excuse for using racist terms.  It insults ME.  I should feel sorry for women like that.

Okay, I did a naughty.  I went over there just to skim and it's so hateful.  I misspelled "Columbia" when pointing out that Tito was from there. I spelled, "Colombia" (I think..LOL).  They think that Tito was used to "troll" in the hispanics.  They don't get the point.  He's an immigrant who is so thankful for this country.  He feels that THIS COUNTRY MADE HIM.

If McCain loses we'll just hang in there and make sure the dems don't screw us.  When they want to take our 401Ks we'll have to start a grass roots effort to stop them.  I think they think that is funny on the other thread...that we are so concerned about it.. Do we dare trust this government with retirement pensions?  Do we trust Barney Frank when saying just this past July that everything would be fine and BAM! we're hit by the worst news ever!  Do we trust Nancy Pelosi who's "out to save the planet?"  Give me a freaking break.  BTW, does anyone know if her book sold to anyone other than her family? Laughing  And then there's Christopher Dodd who took the most money from Fannie and Freddie AND THEN OBAMA who in his short years as senator took the second highest and after that Kerry.

The sad part is most people don't care about any of this.

From my email.  Makes sense to those who do not understand Obama's plan.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept.

He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

    Shirley,

I know.  Obama took the 2nd largest amount of money from that scandal with Freddie and Fannie, and yet, HE keeps telling US how very greedy and corrupt ALL the OTHERS are!  He was one of the WORST offenders!   Gee, will he give the money back that he 'stole' from this??

    Editted to add:

I was posting at the same time you were, Shirley.  LOL  That would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.  But it is SO TRUE!!!

    Beesie,

You are absolutely right!  I did go back and recheck my numbers and this is what I found:

According to a 2005 European Society for Medical Oncology there were 275,100 diagnosed breast cancer and 88,400 deaths from breast cancer.  This is 68% survival and 32% death rate.  I was looking at the "overall" cancer diagnosis/death rates in Europe which is 2,886,800 cancer diagnosis and 1,711,000 death which means 60% cancer patients die from cancer in Europe.

Thank you for keeping me honest, although my "dishonesty" was an "honest" mistake.  I do APOLOGIZE for misleading or misinforming anybody.

However, I did find another study done by http://www.breast-cancer-research.com/ and I copy and paste here:

"In the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) registries in the USA, 5-year survival for localised cases in 1994 was about 97% but was only about 25% for cases with metastatic disease. In developing countries, the differences in survival by stage at diagnosis are also very marked. In Europe, 5-year relative survival rates vary from 83% in Sweden to 61% in Slovakia , and although trends show clear improvement over time, the utility of survival in monitoring patient outcome has been questioned in countries affected by artefactual increases in registrations due to screening."

    Slovakia survival rate stinks!

The point is that all of these countries have "Socialized medicine" and USA has kicked their butts in survivors!!!!!

Question is what does Obama Health Plan really say?  Well here is are a few excepts from HIS website (the kicker is you have to scroll ALL the way down to almost bottom to see it!)

    (7) FLEXIBILITY FOR STATE PLANS. Due to federal inaction, some states have taken the lead in health care reform. Under the Obama-Biden plan, states can continue to experiment, provided they meet the minimum standards of the national plan.

    (5) FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. The federal government and state and local governments play critical roles across the full range of disease prevention and health promotion activities. First, working together, governments at all levels should lead the effort to develop a national and regional strategy for public health and align funding mechanisms to support its implementation.

Okay, so this last sentence can be interpreted a couple of ways.  The problem with Obama is who  knows what he means by "implementing national public health".  If you read all of his health plan it sounds great!  I was real impressed.  Herein lies the problem, noone knows what he is really saying and here is why:

He has stated MORE THAN ONCE he is as "white as his grandmother"  unless of course he is addressing minorities in which case he says "time to put a man of color in the white house".

He said he "doesnt know Bill Ayers"  ok "I served on a board with him" ok "I think he lives down the street" ok " ive been to his house"........

Jeremiah Wright "I dont know him" ok "I went there once to reach out to inner city youth" ok "he was a mentor to me for 20 years"

Islam- " I am a christian" ok "my grandmother was a christian and she raised me" ok "i went to school in Indonesia and studied the Quram" and the talking to George Steponapoulus he said "no they haven't questioned my 'muslim faith'...."I mean my 'christian faith'...."

"No tax raises on people under 250k", ok .."no tax raises on people under 200k" (i guess over 200k you get raised) ok....."no tax raised on under 150k" (now over 150k gets raised)

So your guess is as good as mine as to what he means government implementing national plan for public health."

    MEDIA DOES MATTER!

    Obama's Media Landslide
    By Brent Bozell
    October 29, 2008

The election results aren't in yet, but there is one set of surveys with an unmistakable conclusion. Everyone should be forced to admit that the publicists formerly known as the "news" media have worked themselves to the bone this year to elect Barack Obama.

Polls have found it. The Pew Center for the People and the Press documented a landslide: "By a margin of 70 percent to 9 percent, Americans say most journalists want to see Obama, not John McCain, win on Nov. 4."

The Center for Media and Public Affairs found it. Measuring for comments that are either measurably positive or negative -- and dropping out the neutral remarks -- comments about Obama on the three network evening newscasts have been two-thirds positive (65 percent) since the party conventions. Comments about John McCain have been about one-third positive (36 percent) in the same time frame.

The cultural landscape is no different. CMPA also found that the late-night comics launched seven times as many jokes on the Republican ticket than they did the Democrats, perhaps in the knowledge that comedians are going to face an awful backlash from their liberal peers should they utter a single mocking word about the ticket of Hope and Change. Leftist "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart can't be any tougher on Obama than to call him a "hope-ronaut."

Even the Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ), run by liberal former reporter Tom Rosenstiel, found it. In the last two election cycles, Team Rosenstiel labored mightily to find a shred of evidence to support the theory of a pro-George Bush bias in the press. They weren't going to risk mockery for a flat-earth survey suggesting an anti-Obama tide this year.

They found coverage of McCain has been heavily unfavorable, and has become more so over time. In the six weeks following the conventions through the final debate, unfavorable stories about McCain outweighed favorable ones by a factor of more than three to one. Nearly six in 10 of the stories studied were decidedly negative in nature (57 percent), while fewer than two in 10 (14 percent) were positive.

Obama's coverage was more balanced, with 36 percent positive in tone, 35 percent neutral and 29 percent negative.

But how can that be? How do you find that 29 percent of Obama mentions are negative? That's why people should put an asterisk on Mr. Rosenstiel's results. Unlike other surveys, PEJ isn't just studying the "news" media, the ones mandated to demonstrate balance and objectivity. PEJ included cable TV talk show hosts from Bill O'Reilly to Keith Olbermann and talk-radio hosts from Rush Limbaugh to Randi Rhodes -- all commentators, mandated to express an opinion.

PEJ's surveys also only included partial samples, looking at two out of four listed newspapers every day, sampling just the first half-hour of network morning shows, rotating NPR and PBS programming, and studying the first half-hour of Limbaugh every other day. That's like painting half a picture instead of a whole one. And still, after all that conservative commentary, it was still a net positive for Obama.

We at the Media Research Center found something else: The media hated McCain's commercials. Between the end of the primaries and Tuesday, network news broadcast 84 stories criticizing McCain ads, while only 32 had a negative tone toward Obama ads. Moreover, McCain was on the receiving end of nearly three times as many stories scolding his supposed negativity (66) as Obama (26).

Any Republican who thought that nominating the more centrist, media-gladhanding McCain would make for an easier road with the press were obviously proven wrong. Even he must acknowledge the fallacy in the belief that the media were "his base," just as Hillary Clinton, whose allegedly invincible carbon footprints still haunt the campaign trail, was forced to conclude. Given the way journalists turned on former favorites McCain and Clinton, is it any surprise that fresh, young, dynamic and conservative Gov. Sarah Palin was greeted by the media the way a school of piranhas greet lunch?

Polls showed the public saw that trend, too. Rasmussen reported that over half of U.S. voters (51 percent) agreed that reporters were trying to hurt Sarah Palin with their news coverage, and just five percent thought reporters were trying to help her.

It wasn't enough for the media that Obama rejected public funding and its attending limits, insuring that Obama's tidal wave of cash sloshed through battleground state TV markets and hammered McCain with a massive advantage in advertising time. The media's utter failure to make the campaign-finance imbalance an issue -- as they certainly would have if the roles were reversed -- only underlined the awesome one-sidedness.

Pundits talk about the "steep uphill climb" the Republicans have faced in this election cycle. But that hill was built with a landslide of media mud.

    ---

Moody, I don't want to hijack this thread and turn it into a discussion about breast cancer or cancer survival rates but I do have to comment on your numbers.  You cannot determine survival and mortality rates for cancer by comparing the number of cases diagnosed in one year with the number of deaths that same year.  Someone who dies of cancer might have been diagnosed 20 years earlier.  There is no simply relationship between those two numbers.  And, in comparing one country to another, you have to adjust for age differences in the population.  If one country has an older population than another, the death rate will naturally be higher.  So you need to look at these numbers using a data source that accommodates for this.

Here is a link to a website that does accurately compare rates across countries, using data submitted from the World Health Organization.  http://www-dep.iarc.fr/   In 2002 (the last year that data is available from the U.S.), the U.S. age-adjusted mortality rate from breast cancer per 100,000 women, aged 20+, was 26.4.  This compares to 30.5 for France, 28.6 for Italy, 27.5 for Canada, 27.3 for Australia, 24.9 for Poland, 24.4 for Sweden, 24.3 for Finland, 23.4 for Spain.  So while the U.S. rate is good, but it's certainly not the best.  For all cancers, the U.S. age-adjusted mortality rate from per 100,000 females (from birth on) was 99.6.  This compares to 107.6 for the UK, 102.6 for Canada,  97.6 for Slovenia, 93.0 for Germany, 83.2 for France.  I just selected a few countries as examples - there are lots more countries included in the charts.

Here's another interesting website. http://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/sort.php   Among the things you can find here is a ranking of life expectancy by country.  Japan is first at 82.1 years, Singapore second at 81.9 years, Canada third at 81.2 years, France fourth at 80.9 years, Sweden/Switzerland/Australia next at 80.7 years... then Israel, Iceland, Norway, Italy and so on.... The U.S. is 27th at 78.1 years.   Anyhoo.....

Back now to the other topic du jour, Trolls!  Personally, I've never been offended when I've been called a troll.  I rather like trolls.  I think they're cute.  So I take it as a compliment and this is why I'm a bit upset at losing my title to Shirley.  Interesting to hear that the term is now being thrown around so liberally.  Well, may we all be happy trolls!

I don't post here very much, but I read everyday. I love this thread.

Shirley, I love your encounter at the restaurant. I'll have to keep that in mind. Its just the sort of thing my dh would enjoy also.

Speaking of dh, he sent me an e-mail that he probably got from one of his friends. Here it is:

    DID YOU KNOW THIS?

Question:  What is America's first line of missile interceptor defense that
    protects the entire United States?

Answer:  49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard.

Question:  What is the ONLY National Guard unit on permanent active duty?

Answer:  49th Missile Defense Battalion of Alaska National Guard.

Question:  Who is the Commander in Chief of the 49th Missile Defense
    Battalion of Alaska National Guard?

    Answer:  Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska.

Question:  What U.S. governor is routinely briefed on highly classified
military issues, homeland security, and counter terrorism?

    Answer:  Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska.

Question:  What U.S. governor has a higher classified security rating than
either candidate of the Democrat Party?

    Answer:  Governor Sarah Palin, Alaska.

According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February,
but nobody ever found out.  This is a woman used to keeping secrets.  She
can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

    Now you DO know!

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of
their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and
corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive
the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on
    the continent their fathers conquered."

Something isn't quite right.  I spent a good part of a few minutes looking for someone, anyone talking about Obama's taxing plan being good for America.  How it will lift us up out of this quagmire of economic woes we're in.  I can't find anyone willing to say that.

Instead I find plenty of articles saying the exact opposite.  This goes on everyday.  I've read today that it would be the same as FDR's plan before he finally saw the light and lowered business taxes so the economy could grow.  Then, yesterday Obama's plan was compared to Carter's.  Then Hoover's. Then what it took for Reagan to get us out of Carter's mess.  But nothing about how Obama's plan will cause any type of economic growth.

The talking heads on TV only defend it by saying 95% of us will get a tax credit, but nothing on how it will spur us into national economic growth.  So if we don't have growth, what do we get instead?

Played golf today, beautiful day.  Saw a 66 mustang convertable, made me think of the days I wore bell bottoms, now I wear bell tops.

I looked at a long story I received by e-mail, one thing I found of interest was the statement that two members of Obama's staff were black muslims, one a former bodyguard to Louis Farrahan.  I can not vouch for how true this is.  That is the bad thing because the MSM will not do it's job.  We never know what is rumor or what is hate speech.  It seems that a full Palin like investigation of Obama's past would clear a lot of air.

Obama has always played down his association to LF because of the anti-jewish diatribe.  This even though all of Obama's associations are close to and praise highly LF.

Hello Republican friends.  Politics are really heavy in Florida today.  I thought about y'all often today as news of McCain's visit to Miami was the topic of the day.  He had a large crowd waiting for him in this cold weather (55 degrees...hehehehe).  OK, don't laugh but this was a very chilly day for us so to have a large crow of supporters out there was impressive.  He met with middle class business owners and was seen eating "pastelitos" (guava pastries) with Cuban-American movers and shakers of Fla.  There were lots of signs about "Pepito El Plomero" (Joe the plummer).  LOL  He is really trying to get the over 1 million Cuban-American votes.  Of course there were also the not so friendly Obama signs.  Here is a clip from our local news station:  http://www.local10.com/index.html

Obama has rented the American Airlines Arena for his rally tonight.  Part of it will be aired at 8pm during his infomercial.  Can you believe he is spending $10 million on this infomercial...I want to puke.

Rosemary - Socialism is not good for the economy. It takes away the incentive to work hard and earn more - so who can defend that. Notice how the numbers he uses keep changing $250,000, $200,000, $150,000, and from the "ones" mouth $75,000 - those making less will get a tax break - yeah right - not long after January 20 we will all have to do some belt tightening and those making more than $42,000 will see their taxes increased (repeal of the Bush tax cuts) if Obama gets elected. 95% cannot get a tax cut because of that 95% about 40% do not pay any income tax - they will get a check! Personally, if I have to pay one cent more in taxes - I will stop donating to charity (take my lead from the "one") - in fact all solicitations that I get I will redirect to the White House!  Then he will tax corporations more so we will all be paying higher prices for everything if we have any money to buy things with!

IBC - whether or not he has black Muslims on his staff makes no difference - it should not matter. What bothers me is his pattern of having some rather radical associations (the rest of us call these people in our lives friends). I think in his first book he says he sought out the Marxist professors at Columbia and chose his friends very carefully (all very left wing, socialists). This raises a red flag - Ayers was not just a guy in his neighborhood, he knew exactly what Rev. Wright spewed in his church, etc.. I think even the MSM is having second thoughts but it may be too late - or they are covering their *ss when after the election people get mad because they were lied to and the media kept things from them - the media can say we reported this or that the week before the election after many people had already cast their votes.

    Saw this posted online:

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

    1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a fair shake.

    2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are too busy for overtime to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

    3. All top management will now be referred to as the government. We will not participate in this pooling experience because the law doesn't apply to us.

    4. The government will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it's workers to continue to work hard for the good of all.

    5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's good to spread the wealth. Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more patriotic.

    6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!

If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.

Is anyone going to watch his infomercial other than himself?

Odalys - geez 55 is chilly for Miami! It has been only in the 30s here.

    Suz,

I'll keep looking for any article that says Obama's taxing plans are good for economic growth, without it, all the hand-outs in the world won't be good enough.

One lady called the radio station and said she's voting for Obama so she can go to Disneyland.  She figures his hand-out will pay for it all.  Ok, then.  Has anyone heard how much he's going to send people who don't pay any taxes?  I'd hate to upset the lady if her refund isn't enough.  It might only be $100, zap ...there goes those dreams.

No, I'm not going to watch the infomercial.  ABC wasn't asked to show it, so I'll watch that channel instead to give them support.  I guess Stephanopolous' question about Bill Ayers had something to do with it.  Visions of tricky dicky are coming to my mind.   Another one with an enemies list.
