slonedeb..... starting my day thinking of you. Praying for you. wishing for you.
I know that you've faced such dramatic set-backs over the past year, and yet you continue to shine your faith and support to others. I know you'd want to add your prayers to our AlaskaDeb at this time as she's really up-against it all, too.
All of us Debs need to keep a heart filled with hope........ I'm sending you lots today.
I pray that your pain meds keep that ever present horror at bay. I am so sorry that you're having to face all of this, but know that I trust in your spirit's ability to overcome this earthly challenge. Learn much now, and share your learnings, your struggles, your concerns with us -- so that we can learn from your journey.
weekend hugs to you and your dear husband Jacky.

Our dear Deb I pray you are felling well. I so want for you to enjoy each day. We are all waiting for each post to see how you are. Fall is around the corner then maybe you can get out and watch the leaves change and feel a cool breeze. But for now stay in when it is so hot and enjoy the ac. We are a lil cooler than earlier in week but still toasty. I was chatting the other day with ubwell2 and she said she was praying for you also. She seldom gets on to chat since they are at the lake for the summer.
Lord I ask for you to renew our dear sister Deb with new strength. To also touch Alaska Deb who so needs to recieve a miracle also. I know Lord you have the power for you created the earth . You placed even the rocks in a babbling brook. It is a small thing in the way of things but you placed it there for a purpose. So I must remember there is a purpose for our bc fight . So I praise you my merciful Heavenly Father. AMEN
-
Deb, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers daily. I just read from Psalm 2 "Blessed are they that trust in the Lord". I hope you can find little bits of encouragement and strength for each day. Bless those who comfort you also.

Long day here, with now the evening sun fading and shadows crossing the window sill, Deb. Today was one of quiet reflection during house work as my family played, came and went. I'm grateful to be able to do the work, even as my bones creak and my muscles grow fatigued. It's the little things now I am growing more grateful for than in years past. I need less in life, use less, eat less.I said my prayers for you while I worked, Deb. Rubbing gently to work out the spots, just like I would with you, using warm water and massage to soothe your body and quiet the pain. Hopefully you're not in the hospital, but if you are, please know we follow you there too with our prayers and wishes.Thinking of you Deb, and praying for you and your family,Tender

Sunday morning SLONEDEB, sending you prayers and hugs from the brisk northern lake.
We wore sweatshirts last night and piled under afghans to stay warm. This is a BIG country that we live in.
I'm hoping that we might have a word from you soon..... or maybe someone in the family will think to pop in with an update. Know that we are always praying for you.

slonedeb..... my laptop is acting up -- I have no idea why it says font, font, font everywhere in the message I just posted. Sorry if that is confusing to you -- it certainly is for me.
With or without the laptop, know that there are prayers for you continually headed toward heaven.
We're gonna get to church in a minute and I'll be saying them there for you.

oh goodness, dearest slonedeb. what a lot of news to contend with. of course you 'knew' that something was dreadfully amiss -- but to have it confirmed, must fill you with so very many emotions. i wonder what kind of words you want to hear from us? what would be helpful to hear at this point in time?
this morning at church one of the hymns had a line that said, "We are called to bring hope to the hopeless." i immediately thought of the many women here who's very lives are in peril. of course you were at the top of my list.
i will continue to pray for an outright miracle, deb. I will pray that whatever remaining time is yours be spent in the manner that brings you the most peace and comfort.
know that you are never alone. we are here and praying for you.

good afternoon, SLONEDEB!! wanted you to know that I'm here up north, sending you prayers for support and encouragement.I was thinking about you and yesterday I got a book with quotations entitled: "HOPE."I thought that brighter people than I might shed some comfort on your current situation."Knowledge is the antidote to fear." -- Ralph Waldo Emersonand when in doubt, always fall back on "Jesus loves me."xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

I'm so very sorry to read this news from you, Deb. I trust your oncologist has offered assistance in every way possible, like oxygen to relieve shortness of breath and differing pain relief methods for the pain. Is your husband able to take charge of medication for you, and hopefully someone is with you now at all times.Your posts have been touching, and I hope you might be able to occasionally post or ask your daughter to. We all care about you so very much, and at times words defy us. I think of you often throughout the day. Please know how much you have given to us here, Deb, and feel the sustenance from your friends here.A special prayer for you tonight,Tender

Deb hugssss. I would have posted earler but went out of town to visit my mom and to see a sis and her dear hubby that were there for the day. I am tired .LOL My mom is so hard to please I have never done much to make her happy. But oh well. Deb focus on each day and not what may be. Satan knows where our weaknesses are. DO NOT GIVE HIM POWER. God holds all the keys. I understand the tough days I do we just need to redirect one another on the right path. Praying for you each day. May you rest well. If you will Deb send me a private message with your address there is a prayer shawl I made I would like to send you. Hugs my dear sister....

slonedeb i can't even imagine how you're feeling these days, but it's so very kind of you to take the time and energy to come on and tell us how you're doing. i want you to know that you are very special to us. it's so good of you to continue to fight the beast -- in the efforts of training your medical team -- to benefit someone that will follow after you.
as Kbug and Tender and others have expressed..... no doctor knows when our final day will arrive. i'm thinking that Our Creator has counted every day -- in the same way he has numbered the feathers of the sparrow. we must give up our desire for control and allow the Maker of the stars above to carry us home when He is good and ready.
in the mean time, i pray that your team is able to keep you as comfortable as humanly possible.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
we will still continue to ask for a miracle. our Creator is compassionate....
-
Dear Slonedeb: My hugs to you; all the best. You are well loved here and we all wish you the best.
-
Deb, You're in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day. I hope you can be as comfortable as possible and have some bit of joy or beauty in each day.
-
Deb it came to me a bit ago we need to put on our whole armour of faith. I pray that you are feeling well today and getting stronger. Soon will be cooler weather and maybe by then you can sit outside for awhile. I love to get out but on hot days I tend to stay in and I love summer. Have you been able to eat? Try to stay hydrated and eat a lil of your favorites that will put a smile on your face. Laugh as much as you can. That is what drs told my step brother who has been battling cancer for 7 yrs. Has amazed drs that he is still here. Well we know who holds the key. So remember you are thought of so much thru out the day. HUGS and LOVE ...

slone....... just sent a long message, but it seems to have disappeared..... having issues with our technology today.
here's a thought from scripture:
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world." --John 16:33

Sloandeb,
I think and pray for you daily. I know your days are difficult but you know that we love and care for you and so does our Lord. I'm glad you stay in touch. Here is my prayer for you:
Lord, you bore the cross for Sloandeb and all of us. Her body is filled with illness and pain and her strength is weak. Look upon her condition with mercy. If it is thy will, bring her swift relief and speedy recovery or give her the strength to bear her condition with a patient and cheerful heart. Take away her doubts and fears and remove any dispair. We ask this in your most Holy name, Amen.
Love, hugs, and prayers, Brenda

thanks for coming to tell us what the doctor understands...... of course that is one sorce of information. i want you to know that we'd like your doctor to be incorrect -- by way of a miracle.
keep stomping on that devil. keep squashing anything that needs to be squashed: evil, anger, frustration and the like
hold your head high. you are such an inspiration -- even in the midst of this crummy news.
we're all here praying that your time is comfortable and meaningful.

Slonedeb-of-Kentucky...... We had a gorgous day here in our never-never-land of beauty.
I want you to know how often I think of you during my day, during my travels, during my work. I continue to ask for blessings and miracles for you.
Be brave as you continue your fight. I can only wonder how you are feeling today? I hope that your pain has been controlled and that you've found something to bring you some nourishment.
We had a watermelon for dinner and that, too, reminded me of you. It was the sweetest one that we've had all season.
strength and courage, strength and courage, strength and courage.....
