There is that Trill but nothing big will change until maybe 2022.

Don't give up yet.

Whoa! The Dems are looking good in Georgia at the moment!! Wish I could out-and-out celebrate but too early for that..
STILL!
The Reps have had such a hold on Georgia and--this?? Sheesh---Trump has really WRECKED the Reps!!
I have to wonder--if the Dems get control of the Senate--(fingers crossed)--how much Donald Trump is to blame...he got out the people --but not FOR him!
And Covid, horrid though it is, showed his gross weaknesses as no political opponent ever could have. And no Mueller investigation, no Comey interview, no Vindman, no Ukraine, no impeachment--powerful voices and events as they were--could show up Trump in the way this non-political happening has done......
-
Lady G was right.
-
Good one , Serenity.....wow....and from Graham yet!
-
Yup! I wonder what Trump told him during their golf game that made Graham bend the knee.
Now can we celebrate?
-
For Game of Thrones fans (despite the ending). 😉

OK, Warnock definitely did win. Ossoff (I also got a jinx victory e-mail from the DNC congratulating him) is 1100 votes behind, but there are 7500 mail-in ballots from Fulton Co. yet to be counted (and won't be released), 3000 from Chatham Co. (Savannah) and at least 10,000 from DeKalb. All 3 counties skew heavily Dem. Let's hope! (A 50-50 Senate, with a Dem. VP as tiebreaker, would make Chuck Schumer Majority Leader--if he wants it and isn't beaten by a party rival--and every committee chair a Dem.). Should that happen, Breyer might breathe easier about possibly retiring when the time comes. And if a vacancy occurs during Biden's term with a Dem. Senate, Merrick Garland would almost certainly fill it...if he is so inclined to accept.
Meanwhile, it strains the imagination that acc. to the Kenosha Co. DA (and the "use-of-force expert" Wray--an ex-police chief) there was nothing even remotely criminal about ordering someone to drop a knife he wasn't holding, then grab his shirt to restrain him, and pump 7 bullets into his back. None of the other cops even drew their weapons. This cop has racked up several use-of-force complaints. I hope the Kenosha protests remain peaceful and there are no riots. And I also hope the Nat'l Guard keeps the pro-Trump ralliers in check tomorrow in DC.

1 down, 1 to go!
-
Warnock is no longer just leading--NBC just projected him as the winner! And Ossoff has leapfrogged over Perdue--a 149-vote-behind margin is now a 3560-vote lead. Whatever's left to count in DeKalb would be heavily in his favor.
Yeah--Bob said to go ahead and pop the cork on that Mumm Napa Blanc de Blancs! Sipping it now. (Blini, creme fraiche, and salmon roe too--for this I will gladly eat carbs).
-
WHOOOOO-EEEEEEEE!
WOWZA! THIS IS SO INCREDIBLE!! DIDN'T HAVE MY HOPES HIGH BUT AM SURE HIGH NOW!!
CONGRATS TO WARNOCK AND --YEP-- OSOFF!
If both hold their leads that means Senate is gonna be 50-50--which I think means any tie gets broken by Kamala!
DOUBLE WHOOOO-EEEEEEEEE!
(And Sandy you are making me HONGRY!!)
-
Political math nerds on Twitter called it for Ossoff 2 hours ago.
-
really? It's over even without counting military and others that have till Friday???
-
They're included in the remaining mail.
Also:
-
😭 happy tears. Hopefully no shenanigans from trumpanzees et all... I hope it sticks. I imagine they'll ask for a recount citing fraud and all..
-
I think their wins will be beyond automatic recount, but Republicans like to claim fraud when they lose.

The race has been called for Warnock! Ossoff, Perdue race still too close to call
-
I wonder if McConnell will the next one to make a call to Brad Raffensperger.
-
Ossoff is currently ahead though no official call yet
-
All, or most, remaining votes are in Dem areas. GO JOHN!
