It has been nice not having the orange thing on tv daily. Still managing to be heard now and then though -- making some news with the possibility of a LOT of pardons. Seems to me that he is less worried they would be tapped for crimes as he would be that they would use 'info' about what Trump has done to maybe get relief from some of those crimes.
I'm not real concerned about the martial law issue. I doubt it would come to be. Mainly for the reason that he lost to Biden by soooo much. Both on Electoral College as well as popular vote. Also, while they don't all say it, so many of the Reps. are edging away from him. They know he is all but gone and likely they wish he already were. If he goes to Georgia and makes it nothing but a huge rant/gripe session about HIS loss and the REAL people ( many of the Reps. ) who caused it -- he won't be doing much for the run-off. The Gov. and other Georgia officials likely wish he would stay away as well.
It is so refreshing to have Biden doing REAL work ( what is possible at this point ) and being calm and measured about it all. He is going to have such a tough job to do, but he knows what the problems are and by all accounts has a great team willing to do anything and everything to get us going back in the right direction. I hope their is not too much destruction from Trump -- hope those around him can keep him from the worst, and that there will be much to celebrate once he is finally in office.

It is truly astonishing when your so stupid your're a failure at cheating and so transparent by putting it in court documents -- highlighting the wrong person. This is why I don't think this will EVER, EVER get off the ground. In addition to the fact that there is absolutely no proof whatsoever in he filing -- at least not the part we are seeing.
I think I'm getting more and more amazed at the amt. of coddling and cover-up that had to take place to keep this orange buffoon in office the whole 4 yrs. and only be able to get rid of him thru an election. Just amazing.

That was the gov of Arizona. He changed his ring tone to Hail to the Chief so he wouldn’t miss the call Orange shit called while signing papers, heard it, sent to voice mail.

For one thing, Trump is blathering on and on and on and on about election fraud while Covid news continues to make headlines. He’s so disconnected it angers me.
The other thing, like you said, Jackie, is how much cover-up was done of Trump’s behavior and actions these past four years. What happened was everything, absolutely everything he did was “normalized”, not just by his base but by his fellow Republican politicians in office. That has made me lose faith in people, to some extent. They will twist the truth, interpret despicable actions and frame them as “the right thing” to do or say. They refuse to admit Trump’s so-called leadership has been absolutely heinous.

another loss for the orange one. -
Chevyboy...I'm going to give it a try again. But I might be beyond the point of it working. I've been using Afrin for years.
-
I discovered how addicting Afrin could be one summer in Seattle when I kept getting one cold after another (like planes lining up to land at Sea-Tac) and kept using the stuff after I got rebound from Neo-Synephrine. The NP at Group Health told me about Afrin--I'd only need it every 12 hrs. First time, the rebound hit at 4 days in. Next cold, after 3 days. Third cold, my nose stuffed up after only the third dose. Never again.
Here's a little secret, though. Ever encounter a spa or health club with an "inhalation room?" Smells sorta like eucalyptus (or Vicks Vap-o-Rub or Noxzema, right)? Well, don't put Vicks or Noxzema into a steam vaporizer or a sink full of water that you bend over with a towel over your head--it might give you "lipid pneumonia" which could land you in the ICU or worse. Instead, get yourself some eucalyptus bath oil (I like Kneips, and when I could easily get into & out of a tub I loved to soak in a bath with a capful of it when I had a stuffy nose). Run your shower full force till it's good & steamy. Turn it off, plug the tub drain. Shut the bathroom door. Pour a capful of eucalyptus oil into the bottom of the tub, and throw in a mint tea bag. Turn the shower back on full force, as hot as it gets. Let the room fill with steam till you almost can't see. Then turn off the shower and sit atop the (closed) toilet-seat lid and breathe till the steam abates--about 5-10 min. Then open the bathroom door. Empty the tub when the water cools enough to safely put your hand in. (If you have a stall shower, there's no drain plug of course--but still sit there till the steam has cleared.
And so long as you don't let your face get scalded, plain steam is good too. (Good for your skin & vocal cords as well).
