and this is really why we vote:

I have my champagne and chocolate to celebrate on Tuesday. I do feel the orange menace will be voted out. It won’t happen that night, but for sure by January. Worries me a bit that Walmart went back on its decision to remove guns and bullets from the stores. I do plan on laying in some other food in case things get rough and we need to “hunker down”. I do love the memes on this board. You guys are hilarious

SEAN CONNERY HAS PASSED AWAY!! OK, he was 90, but still. F**K you, 2020!!!

-
Sean Connery's death is a shocker even at his age. He will always remain one of the sexiest men alive and the greatest Bond.
-
RIP Sean.

Trash day is Tuesday!

Sean Connery had an incredible, sexy presence; and I won't tell any woman (or man!) that they're wrong for drooling over him.
But it does not break my heart to see one less abusive misogynist in the world.

Trump's Rallies Are Backfiring And Making Joe Biden More Popular
Trump's multiple rallies a day aren't his standing in the election, but they are keeping Joe Biden very popular.

Sort of a shame that Trump is spending all the treasury funds on something that isn't doing any good for anything much but maybe his ego. Then again, I'm quite doubtful that it has ever concerned him that he has wasted sooo much of the U.S. tax monies and even more so since so much was for his properties. The grifting king at work. Well, I'm so very hopeful that quite soon he will be cut off from this income and he will have to go back to paying his own way on his own ugly plane.

Just a word about yard signs. Dh and I were talking yesterday and I said -- I think it is asinine to have all sorts of signs in your yard. I've never even once voted for someone from a sign and I never would. I seldom if ever buy food, medicines or anything else advertised on tv. I just don't much feel those things are of value to me. As far as the yard signs I just see it as a way to annoy your neighbors for the most part and actually disturb what is generally a nice neat lawn.
I would put a Biden/Harris sign on my lawn if I didn't live in the woods. Still, my Reps. BIL's put signs out every yr. and they have ( in the yards where they are allowed to put them ) one for every Reps. on the ticket. I find it confusing, chaotic, and mainly defiling of lawn space --- but I realize it is not my yard and if the home owners are good with it okay. After the election at some point they have to go around and retrieve all those signs. A bit much for me. I would want nothing to do with that. They are retired though -- so have fun guys.

TIME CHANGE TONIGHT.

Ick. I hate the time change. Makes my SAD go into overdrive. May need to renew my membership in the "Better Living Through Chemistry " club and ask my doctor for citalopram.

Many of the Kennedy men were great men with patriotic spirits. I hope there are lots of those kinds left and starting with Biden we can once again find them leading us .

Someone will slip one under the door to him but it does sound pretty karmic:

This 60-second Biden ad narrated by Bruce Springsteen is soo well done, and its placement, airing during Saturday night's nationally televised game between Ohio State and Penn State on ABC, is perfect.
Titled "Hometown", it features Springsteen's song "My Hometown".
The Boss touts Biden's ties to Scranton, PA, hometown of the former vice president and shows Biden walking up to his childhood home in Scranton. "Scranton, Pennsylvania. Here, success isn't handed down," Springsteen says in the ad, “It's forged with sweat, grit, and determination. This is his hometown." The ad alludes to the Covid-19 pandemic, showing footage of Biden, first responders and restaurant workers all with masks.

Hi Trill1943
I saw a news report that Trump was, "Thrilled" with his supporters running the Biden bus off the road, and is showing the clip at his rallies. He is sickening. The Biden campaign should get charges filed so it's documented, and then it can be dealt with after the election.
