That is a beautiful bonnet and I’m sure the love of every stitch will be felt by the family... xo
-
Minnie, it's beautiful! I knit and crochet too but haven't had the health problems that you've had. If you hadn't told us how long it had taken you, I'd never have known it! They will treasure it, I'm sure!!!
-
Muddling~what a sweet thoughtful thing for you to do. Trust me I know how those sweet and special things take time. You're such a precious woman to do that. Thank goodness for sweet people like you in the world! I'm sure they will be delighted!! Nothing like a home made touch ! Just lovely
Grannax Glad your vacation is solid again!
Gracie~ hope you're feeling good this go round! Love you!
Minnie ~Have. A Good time with your friends. Special times. You relax and celebrate your good news darling!
Shelia Marie~ waving hello and hope you’re doing good today!
Waving hello to Mae also. Was playing some B52s today! 52 girls. Thought of you!
Today was make the song listing day. For the DJ! It took a while. I am very versatile with my choices in music. I love all kinds. But most dance songs have bad words in them now a days so I had to be careful. It took a while to write it all up. I have two days left. Check another thing off the list. The music is chosen and done. 😅 phew ! Hope everyone is safe I am thinking of people in the storms pa. Hoping all is safe with families and communities.
Much love ~M~

Ladies I got surprisingly wonderful news today from the IR. The MRI did not show anything in the area the PET lit up. In fact there was nothing suspicious in the liver at all. There was some scar tissue from the previous y90 he thought.
The plan is to wait three months and repeat the scans, then if something shows up he could do a procedure. I still don't know if my MO will still want me to switch to AA or put me back on Ibrance. If the PET areas increase uptake it's mets, if they don't maybe it's just inflammation.
We are going on our trip in spite of the Hurricane. It looks like it's staying south of where we are going. Still going to get some rain but not like the mainland. I hope none of you are affected, especially for the reception plans, micmel. Good job on the decor.
-
Grannax~That is really wonderful!!! Yay! I don’t see why they would stop ibrance if it’s working so well. All that worrying. Geeze! I hope you have a good vacation and that the weathers isn’t too bad. I am hoping for the same for us on Saturday. Have a blast and don’t think about what’s it’s called again? Sssshhhhhhhhh wabbits! Big hugs for you friend!! Be safe on your travels !
This is what I am going to have the napkins in at the wedding. I thought it was lovely !
.....it’s a beautiful lined wicker basket in white. I really like it. I got three cascading ones in size. The next one is part of the party favors. Bubbles !!!!
Gn much love ~M~

Awesome news Grannax! 👍😃🎉

Woot woot Grannax!
Muddling, how loving of you to make that bonnet for a new, wee babe. Sometimes we feel gratitude that we cannot repay in kind. You have done so!
Micmel, Martha Stewart is going to be knocking on your door asking for decorating advice! I LOVE that burgundy and bling!
Had my 6 month follow up mamm today to the 4 month mamm I had in March of this year. They were watching a 'thing' that shouldn't be there, might be scar tissue, might be cancer, let's just see what it does. Well it seems it's shrinking because it is smaller now than it was on the last two mamms. Tech told me they are very happy with this mamm and see me in a year! WOOHOO!! I was so tense. I was more tense than I even knew. I came home and crashed. But now after a little nap (and some coffee) I feel a lightness in my heart and hope that stays with me until next mamm, when I will worry all over again.
Hugs and strength to all you ladies!

Runor, what a great surprise for you!! Awesome news!!! Micmel, have been watching your beautiful creations take shape, they are truly lovely! The color is my favorite color! Been reading but not posting much, funk continues.. going to see a urologist/ oncologist today to see if they can figure out what’s on the scan involving my kidney. SO sick of seeing doctors, not to mention the $$$$$. I guess they think we are made of it.
-

-
LynnwoodI am with you in the funk, I just don't have time to stop because of this. I hav been thinking about you, but I don't want to push. I know you'll post when you feel you want but I love you my friend. Always. Thank you for the compliments..I'm trying my best. Much love ~M~ Also.... -
Those are beautiful, Micmel!!!! Can't wait to see pics of it all!!! I'm doing a little better I think this round. Even neuropathy is a little better! Now to just see if it keeps working!!!
-
Melissa, You have done beautiful work for the reception. I am sure everything will be perfect, and you will create wonderful memories of the day. I look forward to seeing pictures.
Muddling, You are a tough critic of your own work. I think the bonnet is lovely. It will be well appreciated, I am sure. There is always something special about handmade gifts.
Minnie and Runor, YAY for your good news.
Lynnwood, I wish I had the words that would help you through this funk. Try to remember the good times you spent with your Dad. Think of some laughs you shared or some special places you went together. My grandchildren often talk about the day my dad sat at the kitchen table throwing grapes and strawberries at them so they could try to catch them in their mouths. Can you imagine? No one could tell the kids to stop, of course, because their83 year old great-grandfather started the entire game. My son and daughter-in- law could do nothing but laugh along with everyone else. It is one of their fondest memories of their great-grandfather, and I have to admit, it is him to the core.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne
-
Gracie~Thank you sweetheart, I really appreciate the kind words. I was also very glad to hear this round was easier. That makes a big difference for sure. Hugs to you beautiful!
Lynne(50's)~Thank you for the kind thoughts and wishes. I'm starting to worry about my physical state where Saturday is concerned. I am sore, my entire body is aching and I am just exhausted. I have been non stop really since the shower and the fatigue is getting to me badly. I really am not feeling to good today at all. I'm brutally tired. My head hurts, I have no appetite which is why maybe head hurts I'm sure. I'm just too tired to make anything. Feeling like this isn't good. At all. 😞 the old me would have had these kicked long ago. I hate ironing, it literally sucks and brings out the heat in Heat flash ugh ugh!
Hello to everyone else!
Much love ~M~
-
Micmel, I'm sure you will somehow get the energy to shine, then next day, you can allow yourself to rest, rest, rest and be spoiled by everyone. Wish we could all have popped round to help. Wouldn't that have been great. You could have been Officer in charge making sure we were up to your standard!!! Xx
-
Minnie YES I now love my liver! Ha I'm so fickle. Ill talk to my MO about AA versus Ibrance tomorrow. I vote for Ibrance.
-
Micmel, eat a little something even if it's just a peanut butter cracker. Hey, I like PB on a spoon LOL. Drink some water, milk, juice whatever you like. It doesn't have to be a lot. Take a tylenol or whatever you take. Remember what you would have told your kids when they were little and overtired! Put your feet up for just a few minutes and listen to music or nature sounds that relax you. You'll feel better and can do a few more chores.
-
Minnie,Runnor,Grannax it's so nice to hear your Good news! I am celebrating with you!,!! MicMel remember to take mini breaks during the day , so you won't be existed for he big day. Everything what you do is beautiful. The only thing that is left is to enjoy Saturday.
Have a relaxing evening and good night, ladies. Elena.

Muddling the bonnet is beautiful
Runor nice outcome with the mammo
50s girl always happy to hear from you
Lynnwood 1960 I went to see alternative medicine Dr. because I know I need a mood adjustment from life with cancer. I don't know what it will take but I know I will try something new because some of these feelings of anxiety and dread do not go away.
Micmel I cannot wait to see everything spread out throughout the rail car and transformed into the most beautiful wedding ever.
My sister is in North Carolina she didn't evacuate she's in Raleigh. She told me today that they've eaten through lot's of provisions with the sun shining. Peanut butter and saltine crackers, granola bars, soda, water, juice, and her grandkids want the cookies so those have been opened too. They've been to the Food Lion 3 times in 3 days trying to keep potato chips, little debbies and pies stocked up.
Take care all
Sheila Mae Magda and anyone I forgot good night.

Good morning, peeps. I’m not in a good place this morning. This back pain is going to take me out, at least that’s how it feels. I’m so tired of being in pain. I promise, I can handle discomfort, say a level 3 on a pain scale, but I’m at a constant 6 or higher. I’m tired of spending my life sitting in a recliner with a heating pad or lying down as these are the only positions that allow me to rest. I’m already on fentanyl patch 50 mcg and take 15-30 mg oxycodone every 5-6 hours. Honestly, if I take 15, I take the next one approximately 4 hours later and that’s after clock watching for a good hour.
And my hair is falling out again. It just got to about 2” and I’ve been so looking forward to having some hair for the holidays. I look like Fester Addams without hair 😢 But that’s enough whining from me. I sincerely hope you all have a beautiful day... xo
-
SheliaMarie, I'm sorry you are hurting. Can your doctor change the pain meds to another kind or a different combination or dose? What can they do about the cause of the pain? Targeted radiation (?) to the mets? I hope you find some relief.
-
Wrapping you Shelia in a huge understanding hug. I also can’t stand this back pain. Heat flashes. But I have to push through. Tomorrow is the big day. Ugh! Please don’t be so hard on yourself when you need rest. I know how upsetting loosing your hair is. So I won’t say oh it’s only hair. Because that is just crap to me. To others maybe that is true. But it was the hardest. Thing for me! By far. Then loosing the breast. Love you sister ! Hang in there !
Waving hello to muddling. 😃
Off to a million errands. Wish me some energy. I don’t have any. Ugh! Much love ~ M~ -
Sheilamarie, sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I hope they can give you some relief. It's awful when you are just watching the clock so you can have another shot of pain relief. Hair loss is upsetting always. Mine is terrible, never grew back in parts, so looks awful. I get my DH to buzz cut it, and when I want to look normal I wear my wig. Just bought another, as I save lots from not going to hairdresser. It's not per fect I know, but people do treat you differently when you don't have hair. So instead iI leave them wondering, is she wearing a wig.. big hug
-
SheliaMarie, I wish I could help you with the pain, but I am sure I can give you a big hug. I like the idea about targeting radiation, but check with the doctor.
Hi Tanya, Minnie and everyone that I didn’t mention. MicMel tomorrow is your happy day. Jast don’t worry and everything will be perfect
Hugs. Elena
-
waving hello to Minnie. So busy today. But the ironing is done. DH and DSS arrived today. It in the home stretch!
Blueshine ~. Thank you for your kind words. Pics to follow ASAP!
-
Just wanted to pop in and wish Micmel a wonderful day tomorrow! I know everything will be beautiful! Try to just sit back and enjoy watching all of your hard work come together. Very much looking forward to pictures!
-
Lynnwood~ Thank you so much for thinking of me and my family for Tomorrow I am getting excited. I an hoping adrenaline will carry me through most of the day. I’m going to take a half of ritilan in the afternoon around 300 just to carry me to the evening hours when I am usually spent. I am sad its my creations, and I have to allow many people to help me, because I just couldn’t never do it all anymore. So I’ll be the director, I am also hoping it all comes together exactly like I thought it all would as my mind sees it. Thank you for caring. Hugs my dear friend. (hope your funk is lifting ). Much love ~M~
