Anyone else out there on the younger side of diagnosis?

Hi, there! Sorry - and surprised - to see so many diagnoses at young ages here.
Diagnosed July 2017 at age 34 with stage IIIC. I found it frustrating that I was not taken more seriously when I first visited the breast care center in November 2016 (and again in March 2017). Because I had just finished breast feeding ~6 months prior, had no family history and was really not having any symptoms other than the palpable lump, they told me to come back in 6 months. I went back earlier (in March) because it was getting bigger and hurting. Still, they saw nothing on US or mammo, so they sent me home again. 4 months later, I am a stage IIIC. Finishing chemo next week and on to surgery in December.

hai every one,
i'm 33 years old,newly diagnosed stage 111A,Grade 2, rt side IDC-NOS,ER+/PR+/HER+,7/12 nodes,
Underwent mastectomy within 5 days after diagnosis,presently undergoing chemotherapy with TAC and have to undergo radiotherapy next.
I'm a single mother and I have a 6 year old son and was on HRT for PCOD for the past 2 years and that has given me Breast cancer!!! I have no other risk factors.
I dont know how far I'll be able to pull up and my advise to everybody on fertility drugs is to please opt for any other mode of conception or family planning!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was 38 when first diagnosed, and have had a recurrence at age 47. Still too young in terms of the statistics.

Hai Kim40,it is so good to know that it is 7 years since you are diagnosed and treated;
I'm practically dying out of anxiety for my 6 year old child as I'm recently diagnosed and unsure if I'll make it or not.

hi Koki3 sorry you have to be on any of these threads. but if there is one i visit i sometimes look at the thread of people who’ve made it far past their treatment.
I’m 31. and currently undergoing neo adjuvant chemo prior to surgery for stage 3 Triple Neg. no kids, no family of my own and trying to make it through my treatment with the help of friends and brothers.
Hang in there. You’ll make it.
