Wren, is foster fail in your near future?! Radar looks amazing for his age.
-
I think our income will keep us from foster fail. DH has symptoms of dementia and possibly Parkinson's. I fear we will need all our savings when he gets worse. We've only had 2 foster fails. A tortie named Mocca and our most recent cat Squeakers. I would love to keep Radar, but special food and lots of vet visits are in his future. He is amazing for his age. He can jump into chairs most of the time and eats like a champ.
-
Wren, so sorry to hear about your DH. Will keep you both in my prayers.
-
I love all the cat pictures.
Wren. I hope you keep him.

Radar is so sweet. At night he wedges himself in between us. If we're a little farther apart, he will take turns leaning on one of us. Maybe I should start buying lottery tickets. If we won big, we could keep Radar and thumb our noses at the realtors and donate our house for low income housing. Would love to do that with the surrounding million dollar townhouses. We were a nice middle class neighborhood before zoning did us in.
-
Wren, if you are up to caring for the kitty but not his medical bills, could you partner with a donor who has the cash but not the wherewithal to take a cat in? Could the shelter play matchmaker?
-
Wren if you start a go fund me, I will def kick in so you can keep Radar. Especially if your hubby connects with him during his difficult transitions. (So very sorry to hear about his medical issues by the way, I had somehow missed that earlier).
-
Wren, I would too.
-
We will need a way of knowing it is really you.

Betrayal, Cute video. Thanks for sharing. It puts a smile on my face.

Three cats sleeping in a pile on the sofa.
As DH said at seeing the pile of furry bodies, "It's such a shame cats from different litters don't bond"
-
I took foster Radar to the vet today for a followup check and he's gained almost a pound in 2 weeks. I picked up a bunch more special food and the heated bed they found and told me to pick up. He spends the night sleeping between us, sometimes under the covers. Today he was sleeping on the bed under 2 of the blankets. He's a real love.
-
So happy to hear about his weight gain! But of course he is eating well for you. He feels safe and loved and is happy
-
Wren, that is good to hear.
-
-
Oh Wren, such good news.
-
Unfortunately someone applied for Radar today. The wife is a nurse so giving fluids won't put her off, darn it.
-
Hugs Wren

((((Wren))))
-
Wren, hoping another love-cat will find you.

Miss Felix found a puddle in the patio and left evidence in the floor. See the wet butt and tail print.
