I am a TNBC patient at Mayo in Jacksonville. Assuming this is the same clinical trial my MO wanted me in, it has never started and there is no start date scheduled. She (my MO) recommended that I consider doing a clinical trial at Moffitt in Tampa on the same drug that Mayo was going to do the trial on. She and I both contacted them and I am in the clinical trial. The last I heard, there were still spots available in this trial; that was in August. For this particular trial, you need to have completed treatment at least 2 months previously but not more than 1 yr. ago. I go every 4 weeks for 6 mos. and every 6 mos after for 3 years for injections. I will have my 3rd series of injections in November.

I was just diagnosed with TNBC and curious about when this vaccine will be available to everyone. I know TNBC reoccurs fast and more often than other breast cancer and a vaccine would be great. I hope that it works. How has your experience been so far?

The clinical trial has pretty much been symptom free. Itching and redness for an hr or so after the injections and that's it. I do have one side effect that appears to be rare; the hair on my legs disappeared again about 6 weeks ago. There's been no problem with the hair on my head
