I took this a couple of months ago, during the weekly, Tuesday night race.

I love coming here to look at all of your beautiful photos. It's fun to see what each of you is interested in, and what you find to take pictures of. Ariom, that picture in the airplane is awesome! Lisa, the picture of you and your mom is so touching. It brought a tear to my eye...so much LOVE there!
There are too many to comment on, but keep posting your pics, ladies! This is a great thread!

We used to have a 39 foot power boat that slept 8. We sold it when it was $750 to fill the gas tank!! We renamed it:
HAVEN ON EARTH
Soooooo many people thought it was Heaven, not Haven....sigh.
-
Barbe, no it wasn't hand colored..I think originally it was a Kodak slide..
-
Our motel room in SC overlooked this outlet...I so wanted to go out with the fishing boats All we could
do was watch...even a dolphin or two showed up..
-
while I was looking for the fishing boats I came across my vacation in Charleston SC
I just loved the flower boxes...I don't see them in San Diego
-
Call me silly, but I didn't think there was coloured film in the '40's!!! Movie picture, but camera film?
-
yes there was it was Kokacrome, ectocrome or something like that...I have the slides somewhere..

I don't know about what the lilies are..a few years ago a group of rowdies totalled the pond in Balboa Park . It has literally taken years to rebuild and renew the pond. I simply so enjoy it..

Beautiful photographs! I am with Blessings2011 and the photo looks like it could have been taken recently!
-
Those flower boxes and the fishing boats are fabulous. I have never been there, but love that style so much.
So many beautiful shots!

winter. What a neat store

Lisa, when we bought Mystique she was in a terrible state, broken mast, peeling, cracking timber work, damage everywhere. It has been a labor of love, she is now converted for my Husband, to sail who is a Quadriplegic from a hang gliding accident. He's a champion solo sailor, he designed all the changes, even had her diesel engine replaced with an electric one and I did all the interior renovations, if I never have to remove another piece of veneer with a heat gun, it will be too soon!! I tell people I was suffering "Veneerial Disease"! With just the cushioning to be done now, in the cabin, banquette and V berth, and new sails this season, she's done, for the time being.
You can tell she approves of all the work that's been done, because she sails so beautifully, she's our lovely, beamy, "wide bottomed" girl!

That Dragonfly is amazing, great pic!
-
I love the fishing boats and window boxes too, so pretty. We have never been there either but just mentioned to DH that it looks like a nice place for a vacation.
Kay, Is that handsome fellow a moose?
Wintersox, What a pretty storefront. I love the carousel!
PoohBear, love the colors. Dragonflies can be great little muses when they choose. If you disturb them I find they often just fly back and land in the same spot ready for their photo!

Love
Love locks on fence in Budapest.
-
I took this picture outside Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio a Trevi, a church that faces Trevi Fountain in Rome. Although there's a fine for attaching new locks, this picture was taken in November of 2008, and every day there are more...
