I was living in MA and working in Boston. Will never forget. I was from Europe but we all felt like, and for, Americans that day.
-
lyzzysmom I had my first lumpectomy 7/30 they didnt get clean margins so I had to go back for re-excision 9/10 and this time it kicked my butt for some reason. I am a little better today but still very tired and sore.
-
Hey Nancy C.
I sure hope you are feeling better today. I thought maybe that date on your bio was a mistake so Lizzysmom has eagle eyes and I am glad it was brought to our attention. I am praying that you have a speedy recovery.
Nancy BW
-
Nancy, Praying that the margins are clean this time and that you make a quick recovery and can get the rads over and done with without any more delays.
-
Thanks me too. I am ready to be done with surgeries and to move on with treatments
-
All the best from me too, Nancy!
-
Saw this yesterday in a lobby.
-
-
Lisa, that is a very interesting arrangement. I love flowers. I don't usually see any like that around here.
-
Lizzysmom, what part of Europe are you from. I apologize if you already told me before. Senior moment. Seem to be having a lot of those lately!
-
-
oooooohhhh! Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!!
-
Ariom - your studio looks like a layout from a design magazine - SO cool!!!!!
~ ~ ~
I love sunflowers.... we have a jungle of them every year because the birds scatter the seeds from the bird feeder.

Camera manuals: the first thing I do if I get a new camera that only has an online manual is download it in PDF format, email it to Office Depot, and have them print and collate it into a spiral-bound book. Then I take the book and the camera outside to practice.

Thank you Blessings, it's a fun room, I found some great framed pictures, at a Thrift/Opp shop today, so almost finished!

This is part of our town's Riverwalk.

Love the colours with the orchids and bromeliads!!! Love the covered bridge, too!
-
Lisa, I love the flowers. The background of the arrangement gives it an abstract painting feel and the rose is gorgeous!!!
BW, I was born in England but have lived in the US for nearly twenty years. I only go to visit every few years but it feels quite foreign to me there now and there are only one or two people left who I go to see. Most have passed so its kind of bittersweet. The river walk looks so pretty. It reminds me of the covered bridges in northern New England.
Heard last night that the Northern Lights may be particularly bright and maybe visible in some parts this weekend. Now that would be cool!
-
Lisa those flowers are beautiful. BW love the bridge. I heard that there is a solar storm going on this weekend so those of us that live in the Northern states may be able to see some good shows at night.
this was at the Museum of Science and Industry in the Disney exhibit, I remember seeing these books at the beginning off all the princes stories. It was so cool to see the actual thing.
-
How are you feeling Nancy C. Neat Sleeping Beauty pic.
Lizzysmom, I do remember telling me you were from England but I wasn't sure.
We are sure getting some below normal temps here the last couple of days. Feels like fall already. I guess it is coming.
-
This is another covered bridge on our town's Riverwalk.
-
Some days you just feel like roses
-
BW I am a little better. No seizures today just very very sleepy. I had trouble keeping my eyes open. I slept Most of the day. I am not sure why this time has knocked me on my rear end so much but it has.
-
Good Luck tomorrow Bears..
-
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling great Nancy. Take it easy!
-
Nancy C. Glad you are a little bit better. Have you had seizures? I sure hope you can bounce back from this so you can get strong for your treatments. Thinking of you.
Yes, the way the Bears played last week they need some help this week!
Hang in there.
Nancy BW
-
BW no seizures yesterday thank goodness, just exhausted and in pain.
-
Hope you are feeling better Nancy..
-
Feel better Nancy C. Sorry this time around has been difficult. Thinking of you.
