Lovely photos, ladies.

Sailing is fun. My former BIL had a racing boat we would take out on Lake Washington. One summer he managed to becalm everyone for long periods of time. No motor, 1 paddle. After that we were leery.

Hi all,
Just wanted to share an update. I finally got word that my biopsy was benign. It was scar tissue. I am back to mammograms every six months after just graduating to annual last year. So relieved!! It was a long 16 day stretch to find out but I can finally have my 5yr celebration. My 93 yr old mom had a mini stroke on Monday night but she seems to be okay now. If we had not had her in a facility we would not have known. Now I hope to visit with her for three weeks in May. Thanks for your support.

bandwoman1234 /Nancy - thanks so much for posting this update---YAY, what a relief!!! What anxiety you must have lived with during that waiting time. You definitely need a good 5-year celebration; enjoy, and Congratulations! I hope your mom continues to do okay; how nice that you'll have a visit with her next month.
My Loropetalum Chinese Rubrum "Fringe Flower" is blooming. We have clouds and rain this week in Portland, so this plant is quite cheering as it says a spring hello!
-
Band Woman, Doing the happy dance with you! Wonderful news.
-
Nancy, I'm so glad your biopsy is benign!!! Congratulations on your 5 years. I'm sorry your Mom had a mini stroke but it's lovely that you can visit her next month. Sending hugs.
-
Thanks Hiking, Wren and Cathy.
Thanks Hiking for sharing that pretty Fringe Flower. That is a very bright a cheery happy to spring bloom.
I don't think the news has really sunk in yet. I've had more tears and I am not usually a crier. I will do the happy dance eventually!!!!

Rose's are starting to bloom
-
Thanks Lisa.
Wow, that rose is a beauty. I love the color!
-
SoCalLisa GORGEOUS! Portland has lovely roses, but not until mid June. Right now, we have rain and cherry blossoms and rain and leaf buds and rain and magnolias. And rain.
-
hiking..we will be traveling up that way this summer to visit our son in Enumclaw, Washington . I hope the sun will be shining then.
-
Lisa, beautiful rose! I love the way the colours vary.
-
SoCalLisa Oh yes, summer in the Pacific Northwest is terrific. April showers bring May flowers, and all that. Oregon and Washington have beautiful summers. Portland's International Test Rose Garden is a super gorgeous park. Its best glory is the month of June, but it's lovely all summer. It's on a hill, adjacent to our wonderful Forest Park, and is worth a visit if you like roses!
-
Hiking, I really do love roses!
.
-
Lisa, what a beautiful rose!! I love it!!!
-
This was my morning sunrise view, from our lanai, where DH and I are on the north side of Kauai for 8 days. This is is my big trip to celebrate finishing treatment, being healed, and feeling strong. It’s expected to rain most of the time! Oh well, we will still enjoy ourselves. We have blue sky right now, and will try to do a bit of an ocean dip soon!
-
Another beautiful rose Lisa.
-
To Hiking for finishing treatments. Have a great time in Hawaii and enjoy the ocean and the rain!!!!
-
congrats hiking. Have a wonderful time in Hawaii ❤🏄🏝🏝🏖🏖🍹🍹🥂🍾

-

-
just now
-
That bird is a kingfisher imitating the King. (Elvis that is) LOL Lisa that is one bird I have only seen but not photographed. Good catch.
Love the butterfly pic. Such vibrant colors! Nice job Lisa.

-
Lisa, that one is a beauty!!!!
-
Thanks Nancy, I was just looking out the kitchen window and there he was..
-
Lisa, those butterfly photos are lovely and clear!! The flowers are pretty too.
-
I saw a Painted Lady Butterfly today but I don't think it will survive the snow we are to get tomorrow. Here a some sure signs of spring in Illinois.
The Canada geese have been on their nests. This one perhaps on guard.
