Hah! I KNOW! I just watched a video of chickens mating, and I STILL can't figure it out! Not MY idea of a good time! I know my Angel Fish used to lay eggs, then the male would fertilize them, but that's not how chickens "do it"....
-
The male Betta would wrap, or hold the female, while she looks semi-conscious.... And then the eggs drop out of her, and fall to the bottom... They the male runs after them and picks them up in his mouth, and blows them up into the bubble-nest, that he has constructed at the top...
He has built this nest beforehand.....
And then the female comes to her senses, and sort of comes out of her comatose state, and they do it AGAIN, and again, until she has run out of eggs.... ! All the time the male is running after the eggs, and blowing them up into the nest!
And when she is finished with her eggs, you have to take her out of that tank... or he will get very aggressive to her. I had my tanks divided, so she just got moved over to the other side... and she had a cigarette.

Hah! GOOD one!
-
-
I was going to post a picture, but looked at my Farmers/Animals current issue, and decided against it....
-
Are you holding back? Were you about to post naked pic................................of chickens
-
-
-
-
Go ahead Chevy, post it! I'm sure there's nothing that the author of the Farmers/Animals current issue would mind...
-
So okay..... But I think he is just going for a piggy-ba..... wait.... a chicken-back ride! It just doesn't look feasible for this to be what is going on.... And SURE not of any significance to HER!
Now where else could you find pictures like this?
Credits to the Farm/Animal issue for October.... or someone.........
-
Ok, Holy cats, lol!!! Farm education in progress!!
-
Wow!!! So that's how. Looks like a piggy back to me

Geeeeze you guys. I know Chevy lived in a cabbage patch, you too Loverly?
-
First time exposed to the phrase "live in the cabbage patch". Do you mean this?
Ok I will censor my above post. Most of the time I can suppress the naughty personality in me, but today it escaped
-
Cabbage patch refers to where babies come from!
-
Umhmmmmm.

Lover - that baby pic is so funny.
Mags hope Nacho's surgery goes well.
Cabbage Patch was a doll I thought
kind of ugly (in a cut-ish muppet-y sort of way).
-
No! You guys are ALL wrong... Cabbages come from cabbage communities... like this one.
It's just so hard to teach you guys anything............. And they live on slugs and appropriate ground habitants. or whatever.
