Day 10: I am grateful for quiet evenings to just relax, reading, watching tv and surfing the web.
-
4/9- grateful for some better sleep last night
-
-
Grateful for the warmer weather at last!
-
Grateful for two beautiful days in a row in WI! Can't wait to get outside!
-
I have struggled to feel grateful lately after hearing of a friend who is gone to soon from cancer, and left a young daughter behind. I shocked me in ways I did not expect, but in the end, I will say that I continue to be grateful to be here every day and that I was also grateful to know this lovely woman for the time we were friends.
-
I am so sorry, Jazzy.
-
Day 11: I am grateful for the sunshine.
-
Grateful for such a nice warm day to be able to open a window to air out the house!
-
4/13- I am grateful for a nice facial at my favorite spa today.

-
Very sorry Jazzy!

-
Grateful I may have more potential Avon customers!

-
grateful for another gorgeous day where I can open a window for some fresh air!
-
So grateful for these. They're only $3.99 at Trader Joe's and my husband knows how happy they make me. He buys them pretty often when he shops

-
Grateful for a fun road-trip day with some girlfriends.
-
Cheesequake, your husband is a keeper! Ruth, have fun! Nothing better than girl time.
Grateful to be going on vacation tomorrow for ten glorious days. Much needed and overdue. Need to load my Kindle up with some good books tonight.
-
Thanks meljo614, I think so too

Strange as it sounds, I'm grateful today to be going to the dentist - it's been way too long! (I probably won't feel grateful AFTER the appointment!
) -
Grateful for my DH who loves chick flicks. Today we went to see Cinderella. We both loved it and enjoyed this latest version of it. Costumes and acting were wonderful.
-
Cheese, I went to the dentist today too. Grateful for an uneventful appointment with no suprises.
-
4/17- I had the great fortune to see the legendary Branford Marsalis here last night. Just the best jazz ever. Here is a link to give you a sense of what I got to experience last night.
Ruth, I know you will love this!
-
E- I do think you have a few options here. Talk to the other director and see if there is a better job for you there. I know once you have a bully boss, it can feel like everyone is going to treat you poorly, but that is not usually the case. Your goal is to get away from this guy, either to another job in the company at least for awhile, and/or to find a way to get out.
I know you want to keep this job and need the money so trying to find a way to survive there is the best while you keep your options open for something else. I never understand how companies can keep bully bosses around. Usually the tend to be friends with someone high up!
I am sorry you are down. Do something nice for yourself, a warm bath, watch a movie you can enjoy, go to bed early and get a good sleep.
-
Very nice, Jazzy!
I am grateful in advance because tonight I am going to a Wine & Paint fund raising party.....should be a fun time & a different sort of experience.
-
-
Ruthbru- what is wine and paint party?
-
You buy a ticket and a facilitator comes in with all the supplies; paint, brushes, easels, aprons etc. along with hordeorves & wine....and guides you through painting a picture.....you do it how you want so everyone's comes out a little different. The group who put this one on is called 'Gallery On the Go"'. It is based out of Colorado and the people who present the parties are kind of like Avon ladies, or Tupperware people etc (I'm looking at the brochure & they call themselves 'Independent Gallery Guides'....they must buy in and then get their materials from the company. You could google them to find out more information.....it was a super fun night. Here is my friend & I with our final 'creations'.
-
Very fun Ruth. Love the owl painting!
