Sisterly love........
-
My grandaughter going up for the ball......and she beat the runner out...........
-
I am 55 and never been married; finally found the love of my life 6 years ago and we have been dating long-distance due to the bad housing market, etc.. I just got rid of my condo to move down to be with him in another state...shoring up details for elder care for my mom...when this happened. Can't leave now...need my insurance....a chance for happiness with him is what I'm fighting for. He is what makes me happy!
-
My sissys 3 kids, Pittsburgh in the summer and the Pirates......Just a few of my favorite things...
-
Love of my life.....lost him when he was 57 to Pancreatic cancer.....married 35 years.....gone to soon...at 79, next month, have been a widow for 22 years........was 21 in the picture
-
What a beautiful picture! I am having trouble with picking only TWO!!!!!
-
That is simply a gorgeous and touching picture, ducky....
-
My little family.
-
ducky, that is a beautiful, precious photo. I love it! You both look so happy and so in love. I am truly sorry you lost him too soon.
jmg, very happy for you and I hope everything works out for the both of you!
-
Ruth, what a beautiful family you have too! Great photo!
-
Such beautiful families and children! We are all very blessed, indeed. Thank you, ladies, for all sharing such a part of your heart!
Thank you, BigDFightingBig C! It has been my goal for the last six years--I can't believe the timing on this.
-
I am killing two birds with one stone with this one: friends and exercise.
-
(If I had another one, I would put in a picture about traveling, or family reunions, or my pets, or......)
-
JMG.....thank you.
Big........we were.....young love......
Ruth.....nice family....you love your darker hair.....so attractive...now is that a recent picture........assume it is..........
-
It is a couple years old. The darkness of my hair depends on how recently I have been to the hairdresser.....and what color she has mixed up.
-
My family last April at my grandson's wedding in Chicago...and 12 could not make it.....LOL
-
One of the things that REALLY makes me happy in life is taking photos. It's how I met my boyfriend and it's how I express myself...I have a stream on flickr with over 4000 photos from the last 7 years and right now I'm chronicling a lot of my cancer journey there in between whatever else I happen to find to shoot...I don't suppose, by chance, anyone else here is on flickr?
-
Not sure why the need to limit the topic to 2 pages?......what makes me happy, is what also brings me peace, and rest for for my "soul"......
Time in the mountains is what speaks to my mental, physical and emotional health. It is what feeds my soul and my spirit.
This was my first hike back to the mountains this spring, after my recon surgery. Nihahi Ridge Trail, Kananaskis Country, Alberta
-
I like the photos. Makes the thread even more intimate getting to know everyone.
I luv the great outdoors, hiking/camping etc and outdoor summer concerts.
This is around the falls in Deep Creek (not my photo, but it is where my son and I hiked several years ago-so much fun and so very peaceful)
The next picture is my son and me, at the 'Train' concert a month and a half after my surgery in July 2012
He has given me an equal amount of proud moments and disappointment. we share our love of music
-
Piper what a beautiful picture....you are very pretty and very young.......your son is handsome..
-
My twin gradaughters...Grayson is on the left...she is the one you all know from her birth injury....told my GD she has to get rid of the Binky........LOL....she is in a chair with a brace.......her right hand does not open
-
Thought you ladies would get a kick out of this.....this is Stella my daughters puppy Bulldog......she works from home...this is what she found today........LOL.....MOM YOUR WORK IS BORING.....
-
Here are two of my grandsons holding the newest grandson, Thomas. Zach, my daughters son is on the left and George, my sons' son, is on the right. Zach and Fynn (stepdaughter's son) will be 4 in September and George just turned 3 last week. Thomas (George's brother) was born February 3rd! Four grandsons under 4!!!
-
That is what I call a "goof ball" shot.....doesn't show their personalities really, but I love the smiles!
-
Barb......so cute.............................Pictures below are my youngest daughters 2 children..loves of my life.
-
I would LOVE to have pics of me with my grands in them, but for some reason I have no recent pics of me at all. My son brought out a family album when his latest was born to compare baby shots and I flipped through the whole thing seeing every one but me!! Kind of shocked and saddened me....sigh. Yes, we have a "blended" family, but all other parents seemed to be included, even my own DH.
-
Ohhhh, Barb....I feel so sad.....so not right.......I don't have a album full.......but I do have some.......could there be more absolutely, but I have a few........
-
I hiked this mountain, along with several others in the Lake Placid area 15 years ago with my husband. The hikes were well worth the fantastic views. On the way home from my radiation treatment the other day, my husband said that he thinks we are due to go back to the Lake Placid area this year. I agree!
-
Barb, the only pictures I have of my Father are from our wedding---guess who was behind the camera in all the family photos! On the other hand guess who is missing in DH and my photo album? ME!
