Dreaming of summertime walks.....
-
I think that's the mark left when a hawk or owl catch a mouse that has come up through the snow.
-
The snow pic looks like an angel with wings.
-
LOL, that is certainly a more peaceful image.

-
OMG, couldn't you just cuddle that little being up close?
-
Ruth! Is that the Panda boy from the San Diego Zoo? Or the little girl one at the National Zoo in Washington? I've been watching both of them grow up on their Live Cam's. I LOVE them!

This is the National Zoo.... You can click on either camera... and see the Mom, or her baby....

RuthBru, your summertime picture makes me feel warmer already. Just think, we are into February so spring is coming!

A different sunset from Battleground, WA.

Ruth, That reminds me of houses we saw in Europe that were tall with a front door in both the bottom and top part. The guide said that was because the snow would cover the bottom half of the house.
-
Ruth, are those still in use?
-
This was posted on another thread....

That picture from was a site I found called 'Ghost of North Dakota'; a guy goes around the state & takes pictures of old abandoned places, if you like them I'll post some more.

Picassa added the snow! Sky was blue, but trees and bushes were so beautiful! Taken from our front porch this morning.
-
Snow Angels!

have been enjoying the wonderful photos. Thank you to all for always putting a smile on my face and in my heart!

Cloudy day in SoCal (the clouds were so low, there was one in the canyon)
Edited to add: this was really unusual to see, the clouds seem to be moving so fast and so low. I sat and watched the clouds, as long as I could before getting on my way. It filled me with a feeling of calm at the time, and each time I see this picture on my cell phone, it brings that feeling back.
-
2nd, what canyon is that?

SDB - sent you a PM

Thanks for this wonderful thread! Found it during a sleepless night and have added to faves. I'm good at many things but to my chagrin photography isn't one of them so appreciate those who can do, and share! ♥
