Starting Chemo June 2013!?!?!

hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve logged on here. We are all past the 5 year mark. Today I spent the afternoon in the oncology hematology waiting room. Thankfully it was for work! I sat there for over an hour. My little heart racing, I could taste the odd metal taste as I could see a patient getting her port flushed, my stomach turned as I looked over and saw a patient eating a donut, preparing for her chemo treatment (I craved bakery items durning chemo). I almost had to get up and leave and not get the interview I wasthere for. I wanted to run to my car and race away. As I sat there trying to look professional calm cool and proper. My mind was racing with fear and anxiety. For several years I've been having rib and hip pain. It comes and goes, it's not muscle related or Luigi,ent related. At night when I stop and start to relax it's when I am most aware of the pain. Of late, I am getting pain in my elbow, long thigh bones and the last two months in my spine. I keep saying to myself it's me getting old, normal aches and pains..... ya dad ya dad ya dad. In the waiting room today I became very aware of the pain in my body, back, hip, leg, elbow and that very tender spot on my spine. I realized today, I need to call my Primary DR and push for some test. My body is telling me to and after today spending time in the oncology waiting room for work (which is not common), the universe is telling me to do something.

Just a quick stop to say Hi if anyone stops by. I just celebrated 1862 days cancer free, 5 years woot woot !!! I've since been through crazy sad stuff in my life but I am thankful for each and every day I get to be here. Loving this crazy life one day at a time ❤
