I think I am 241. This is my first post, though I have been lurking for a while, and am so grateful for all the good information and support here. I'm still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis and figuring out how to navigate this new path my life is taking me down.

Ladies, I have added all of you on the Alphabetical Us list.  Up to and including Inky, we have 249 names at this point, so the next one would be #250, altho it's not necessary to include a number.  The mods fixed the list so that every time a name is added, the numbers automatically correct itself.  Thank you for responding.

kitty, as your signature line says you are stage iii, I checked your profile to see if there was added information about stage iv and didn't see any.  This particular list is for stage iv.  Exclusive, yes, but not necessarily one you want to belong to (no offense to anyone!).  So I would add your name if you've progressed to stage iv, and if not, be glad!

johnsl1, your name has been added.

256 new to IV but no newbie to BC after 17 years & 3 primaries.

I'll never let cancer take more from me than what it takes without my permission.

Count me in Stage lV from the beginning. Triple negative. Diagnosed in Sept 2012, then found lung mets  which showed up on x-ray during lumpectomy.  3 months of Taxol, now on first FAC and it sucks!!  Trying to hang in there!

welcome debbiej.  I did not respond well to chemo this second time and felt so toxic the entire time.  Finally negotiate going off so that I could continue to have some semblance of a normal life - whatever that looks like.  The oncologist was very understanding and helpful as I refused treatment.

It is still your free will  (even tho it often feels as if we have been thrust into something not of our choosing).  Coupled with the fact that not knowing what happens next, all any of us can do is try to find that quiet place (frequently involves sunning myself in various locales around the house) where we can ponder all of the information we are forced to confront since frequently, doing nothing, altough feeling easier, is akin to holding a weaon to our mouths.

I am new to this thread too, My bio below is not the whole pix (I had a time trying to edit it) I have Mets to the liver and am on abraxane since early march. I always just trust and do all I can to live as long as I can. I guess they do not tell us HOW long we have(since only God know that anyway)  I had stage 4 Ovarian cancer in 03,debulking surgery and 18 chemos... and I lived with no recurrances...I think all things are possible.

It is hard to be alone, so I am glad we have this thread, the earlystages, tho challenging is not as trying as this stage.Undecided I stay busy and feel pretty good.

What are any of your solutions for constipation, it is so bad as I have weekly chemos??

Hi, i am mostly a lurker although I did once start a thread which was shortlived but satisfying. I have only one bone met to the hip and am on Zometa & Aromasin. I mostly come here when awaiting test results. Back in 2009 I had a false bone met dx but last May was the real deal. I have other problems (I am bipolar and my son is autistic) so I don't think much about cancer, I just assume I will be here another five to ten years. My husband is amazing and so that helps a lot.

Ladies, I continue to add names to our list of anyone diagnosed with stage iv bc by April of this year.  You can post your request here, in the 'Alphabetical Us' thread, or send a pm to me.

If you've placed a request, you can check to see that your name has been added by going to Breast Cancer Topic: Alphabetical Us: April 2013.  I add requests daily, it's simple to do since moderators formatted the numbering and spacing.

God bless all of us.  As of this post, 271 women have responded.
