Adey, I well remember Room 222, I was about 12 or 13 years old at the time but it was very memorable and a good show. At some point, it aired on Friday nights after The Brady Bunch & the Partridge Family, and preceded The Odd Couple and Love American Style.  All shows that I watched!

    Okay, just a check here:

    kristinpianista, you would be #222.

Nickie69, you would be #223.  Sorry to hear about your dx. You will find great support at bc.org, tho.

    Hi Everyone

Been lurking since February. I was diagnosed with mets straight away.

Have found this site so helpful while I was being a dormouse and coming to terms with it all.

Hope to meet you all soon.

    Hugs

I got your pm, so count me in.  I was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer to the spine in November of 2011.  (I had a second primary tumor in my right breast and a mastectomy in June of that year.)  My mets were discovered after an auto accident and a CT scan for internal injuries.  Faslodex/Zometa combo has kept me stable so far!

Thanks for counting us!  According to my research, the percentage of people who get "mets" has not changed in decades.  We ARE living longer these days so, here's to us...with hope and hugs!

    I don't know my number . . . got the pm . . . okay to add me in.

February 4, 2012 had final diagnosis of Stage IIIb.  Neoadjuvant chemo, followed by lumpectomy (clean path report), followed by radiation.  January 3, 2013 moved to Stage IV with mets in every vertebrae but two, including a fracture at my C4; mets on both sides of my pelvis and mets in one rib (on the opposite side of my initial cancer).  Been taking Tamoxifen and have had monthly injections of Zoladex and Xgeva.  Zoladex wasn't able to control the estrogen, so I had my ovaries removed two weeks ago.  (I just turned 50 in February.)

Tomorrow, I have my MRI and PET/CT to check current status.  I waffle between thinking there has been regression to there is significant progression!  I'm expecting anything from "the cancer is gone!" to "you now have mets in your lungs and liver!"  I don't have a lot of middle ground expectations.  Laughing

    Let me try #232

Whew that's a lot of women energy stuggling and staying positive.  I am getting to leave on a vacation to see family six months after diagnosis.  Gratitude grows and the journey with cancer becomes a larger journey.  I learn so much from these posts.

But welcome to us all and we stand united and vocal.

So good to hear from those that don't usually post but have taken the time to log in.

234.... I think!!!  I am new as you can see in my signature.  Having rads to sternum and sacrum... started Herceptin, Fosladex, and will start Zometa next week.  Switched from Tamoxifen to Arimidex.  I am 44... with 3 children... the youngest is 6.

Oh Dearest Divine Sister!  Thank you, thank you for putting our list together!   I will be 235...or whatever number is right :)

When I was FIRST diagnosed in 09, I remember reading, "Please respect the privacy of Stage IV.....".  That truly scared me and I was so glad I didn't have to log onto that forum.  After diagnosis #2 in '11, I was still safe.  On 12/20/12 (the day the world was supposed to end...my family says it did for us), the day of my 3rd diagnosis, stage IV liver mets, the first thing I did was come home & log onto "Please respect the privacy of Stage IV..." thank GOD you were all there for me!

Wouldn't it be awesome if our number stayed the same...no one had to join and no one had to leave!   XOXO

    Thanks

237 - used to be very active - continue to liaise with the women I met on breastcancer.org from 2006.  DX Stage IV- 10/16/2013 - metastasized breast cancer (bones, lungs, brain).  I will be 49 next week and am really feeling my age. I used to joke that I planned to retire at 50.  I didn't mean permanently!!!!

I guess that makes me 238!  I haven't been on for a bit; still coming to terms with this all.  Diagnosed with bone mets (hip, femur, rib, T11 spine).  Had radiation treatments (1 hip/femur, 5 spine), am on Zolodex, Zometa, and Femara.  I had a pin put in from my hip to my knee as my femur was ready to shatter.  Just got approval to go to zero crutches part-time (use one part-time).  I'm still a bit emotionally fragile, but I'm sure being tossed into instant menopause isn't helping that aspect. Mostly positive with moments of sheer terror and abject depression.  The good news with menopause is that it's coming onto winter in New Zealand, so the hot flashes are a bonus!

Thanks for doing this Ms M!
