Actually I do a lot of catering for the schools. PTA meeting and high school band this week.

Dominatrix sounds like much more fun and I am sure it pays better. I should look into that. Should have the boobs for the outfits by new years.

Thinking of applying to Hooters as a waitress too. I have experience at that, among other things. I will have high new boobs. Then if they don't hire me I can sue for age discrimination!

Welcome, 4sew. I was just in/near your fair city last night at the Cobb Energy Center. I am from Savannah and met my sister for a Jeanne Robertson concert. She is hilarious - just what I needed.

What kind of sewing do you do?

4 - how 'bout you sew some outfits for Ducky's and Cammi's sexy guys? Something very "brief" and thong-like.

Chickie blood tranfusion, it is always something...

Yay, Shelly, on your new job....(I am so behind also)

    Welcome 4sew!!

Chevy I agree with Cammie, love the look of your house, what does it look like from the back?

got the results of the ct scans, they did from my neck to my pelvis,  the stupid fluid I had drained is back after 2 weeks so have to get it drained again, the fluid around the heart is minimal, abcess is not back little bit of fluid not enough to drain, so the pain which is still there is the diverticultis or broken ribs that are there, whatever....will look at the report when I get to chemo on wed. that is what the lung dr. told me, still don't know why I can't breathe but thinking it is the fluid issue...and he doesn't know why it keeps coming back....other than that get things accomplished a little at a time, baby steps....

Blondette - ask him if an  Aspira drain would be helpful - that way you or a friend can drain the fluid when you need to. It's easy to do, and you can control the fluid release by clamping the tube and resting, so it doesn't hurt.

Blondie, did they do any pathology on the drainage last time?

    Take care.

sas, easy to forget that skin is the largest organ and may also react negatively to what is going on inside the body.

For years husband suffered from a severe undiagnosable rash on shins that went poof after extraction of infected teeth.   Husband told PCP & Dermatologist.Surprised

I love to graze on perfume samplers in stores, but once my face broke out in an immediate rash!  What was in that perfume?Frown

The skin on the girls post BC treatments is sensitive and easily irritated by body products which once caused me to flip out over possible skin cancer.   Scary!

Enjoy the official 1st day of Fall!

It was her 70th birthday yesterday. She introduced her family and she collected toys for tots. Introduced 2 cute marines who collected the toys. She was so funny and genuine. I laughed so hard I cried.

ducky - Why do you close the shore home over the winter?  Our little beach town has several hundred people who live within four or five hours drive from here and come nearly every weekend year round.  We only lived just under 2 hours away when we bought here so were here every weekend but one and stayed a week at a time every chance we got during the three years before we could move here full time.  Before we bought here we found it could sometimes be harder to find an ocean view room on a stormy winter weekend than it is on a sunny summer one.

Oh Chabba that sounds wonderful, in the winter too. The view of snow and winter must be beautiful--do others live up there too, tho or are u al alone?

Chabba......my husband and I went every weekend summer and winter....snow, hurricanes, scorching hot weather...( we have an inground pool) so heat was never a problem, plus the ocean.........it was built in 1986........he died in 1991..........was not going alone...and the grandchildren, were very young had school, and my kids were not shore people in the winter

So why drive 2 hours to sit alone in a house, then drive 2 more back home, when I can do the same thing here in Pa........once he died at 57 years old, winter shore trips ended.........he only got to enjoy the house for 6 years.......I have been a widow for 22 years.......even now we do not go a lot.......school till end of June......sports with the grandchildren.......so snit happens, and you learn to deal with it........and I do........grateful for the time I do get to go.....
