Russell,
Did you have nipples created surgically and then tattoo, or just 3D tattoos?
-
I had nipples created...so had aerola tattooed! So happy!!
-
I had the same as Russell and am soooo happy too
What a great Christmas gift I gave myself, hope everybody has a wonderful holiday season.
-
me three had the nipples done but the tatoos are what make it. Vinnie did a great job.
-
No nip recon at all for me - just 3D tats. They look great!
-
WOW... you guys made my christmas even more wonderful... Thank you!! Have a great holiday and New Year!!! V
-
hope you all had a great ring in to 2014 and goodbye and good riddance to 2013.
Thank you again vinnie for sending me into 2014 with a BIG old smile on my face.
Hope 2014 brings lots of those same smiles to as many women as possible 😘
-
I'm hoping to be one of those smiles this summer!!
Congrats to you, Marcie!
-
I spent most of my New Years Evein the hospital, had my nips "installed" yesterday along with lipo & some fat grafting, so I will be calling Vinnie's to make my appointment soon.....I know Vinnie is a very busy man!
Is it 20 weeks post surgery that I have to wait before tatoos?
Happy New Year to you All!
hugs,
Di
-
yes, it's 20 weeks for Vinnie ....but soooo worth the wait. He's amazing!
-
I'm planning on calling Vinnie, too. Surgery was 12/20 so I think I am eligible in May...Hoping for an appointment sometime in the summer. Looking forward to putting it all behind me!
Wishing Everyone a Happy & Healthy New Year!!
-
call as soon as you can. It's amazing how quickly his schedule fills up. I have to wait until March 31 even though I was finished all surgery 6 months before.
Hugs to you all,
Peggy
-
Danawp, yes, call asap, my surgery was finished in July but earliest I could get in MD was 5/6 - so please do call!!! Worth the wait as he is the best!!!!
-
I talked with Britanny this week and she said they are scheduling into October in Nola. Finally got all of the reports needed faxed to the center. Looking forward to a call back to schedule my appointment!!! I don't really like the idea of waiting almost a year to finish the process, but I've been through too much to just slap some color on me and call it done. Patience is not one of my best virtues! But I will gladly wait if I can have results like the ones I've seen on the picture forum and Vinnie's website.
-
I got my appt with Vinnie for third week of June. That was his earliest. I'm very excited to be finished this summer!! He charges $600 for a uni and requires a $400 deposit, so be prepared.
-
peanuts gal,
Ditto, very true what you say about waiting--after all this, I want the best end result I can get! My PS tried to talk me out of it because it won't be done by a medical professional. I stood firm in my convictions that this is the way to go!
By the time March 31 arrives I will have waited about 8 months but I believe it will be worth the wait!
Hugs,
Peggy
-
Peggysull...He is beyond a medical professional. Its all worth the wait!!!!
-
after showing my plastic surgeon, Vinnie's web site, she said we can't do that and I would go to him myself. Her nurse does her patients tats but even she said, you have to go to him and then let us see. He is a professional and so worth any waiting period.
-
Vinnie will be more available in Maryland since he is only in NOLA one week per month. And if you aren't a patient at the Center in NOLA to begin with, he is scheduling late summer or Fall... I was fortunate because I am a patient there so I booked in April. Can't wait.
-
I was soooo afraid I would hurt my PS feelings by not using him for my tattooes. He has, after all, invested a large amount of time into making me some incredible foobs. When I saw him today we discussed the tattooes and he said that if I wanted something more than some color I needed to go to the famous guy in New Orleans. I grinned and said, "I have an appointment with him in October!" He and his nurse's eyes lit up and they both made me promise to come back so they could see his work in person. Boy! Was I ever relieved!!!!! Now looking forward to October
-
Pam,
PS reply about "that famous guy in New Orleans" made me smile. :-)
My PS said go to a tatoo parlor....his office doesn't even do it.
Di
-
Vinnie will love the FAMOUS GUY IN NEW ORLEANS... Rock Star, right?
-
I showed my PS a pic from Vinnie's gallery. He said "That's a nipple reconstruction."
I said "No, those are 3D tatts." He wouldn't believe me til I sent him the link to Vinnie's web site.
The next time I saw him, he said he was blown away! He had visited the website and could not believe what amazing results could be done with only tattoos!
I asked if he could do that, and of course the answer was no. I said I would probably go back to Vinnie's and have the tatts done there. The PS made me promise to come back and show him.
Still working on trying to find the right time to go...
-
When I had made my appointment in October he was booking out til April in MD. Yesterday I got a great surprise when Anna called and said they had two Jan. cancellations if I wanted to move my appt up. I got online to book tickets and am now going Jan. 22nd! So psyched!
-
Hi all! I just booked my Vinnie app't for April...spring break! I'm kind of wondering about the insurance end of things...I know they give you paperwork, but does that work? I had to put down $400 with $400 due when I get there. I think if my PS did it, it would be covered. Anyone have info on this? I know he'll be worth it! Also, my PS was going to give me antibiotics to take before the procedure, Vinnie doesn't do that....hmmmm...
-
Are you going to NOLA? If so, they submit for you. If you are going to MD, then you need to submit for yourself.
