I am required to get a flu shot for my job and did get one this year. I know it doesn't always cover all possible strains. I'm hoping it's just a cold. I have enough symptoms that at least I'm not thinking mets

Guess what day it is, come on guess.

Dutchiris- I hope you feel better. I hate bad colds. I hope you can get some rest as you can and drink lots of fluids!
Kathyec- fingers crossed for nothing going on for you. A kitty or two might be a nice thing to add to your home!
Cami- like you, I am feeling fatigued lately. Mostly in the afternoons. Might be blood sugar related. I am watching it and slowing things down.
Oh and its Humpity Hump day!

OMD. LOVE IT!!

Hi ladies, seems as if I have missed a lot in the past week. I read all of your posts and am thinking about each one of you.
Well, seems that I do not have an infection as the antibiotics did not work. They did an ultrasound on me yesterday and it shows nothing, but the docs are perplexed as to the look of my breast. They have ordered a dye MRI to get more answers. I have to wait for the referral to go through before I can make an appointment.
Sending you love and light.
XOXOXOXO
Laurie

Hi hermits- I decided to stay home today and work remote. I have been feeling fatigued off and on, and also like I am coming down with something. I came home with a stomach ache after work but then that was gone.
Slept a lot last night but woke up not feeling good today, and just opted out of the work place for today. I may just need to do this the rest of the week. I am just needing to slow down I think, but if the fatigue continues, will go get checked out like Cami is doing. We know that fatigue thing can be a sign of other things we need to know about, right?
How is everyone else doing?

Jazzy,
Sending you gentle hugs and prayers. I'm worried about you.
XOXOXO

Hi Laurie- that picture is cute! Don't worry yet. Just slowing down and seeing if I am just buggy. I suspect a sinus infection.
-
Better than the flu!
-
Me too Jazzy!

Jazzy I was wondering how long u could go without a real rest--u've been working so hard, for while now and I think u've been working on adrenalin, so now it's time to slow down and if u need to call the Dr.
Laurie it's awful that u can't get answers when signs are there, but along the way I think a lot happens that they don't always know, tho we'd like to think our Drs. know everything. Hope it's something simple and they can fix u up.
Hey Teka
I have to take a shower now and get ready for my echo, echo, echo (I like doing that) for my heart, heart, heart (see I can't stop) OK I'll see u later.
-
Thank you Camille! Good luck on your echo!
-
Cami- yes, being pushed for to long and allowed it to happen. Day of slowing down is helping.
Good luck on your echo. May your heart be healthy!
-
cami seems to have a fine heart, hope echo confirms it
-
-
i would agree, cami seems to have the very sweetest heart of all!
-
I think Cami and Teka are our hermit thread mentors and matriarchs (which does not mean you are old, but just very wise....)

CCFW...i stayed home from work yesterday.I shoveled twice despite feeling crappy.
Laurie...I hope they can find out what's going on promptly and the solution is easily handled.
Cami....Here's hoping your echo, echo, echo sees a healthy heart, heart, heart (you're right, this is fun.)
I'm feeling quite a bit better today.
-
CC- talker and fluffier is good! I always feel like a million bucks after I go to see my massage therapist (next apt on 1/24-ahhh).
Doing better, but ready for a nap! I may just lay low the rest of the week. I have a birthday party on saturday for a friend that turns 60 and want to be better for that (okay, and in general.....)
