Aw, Jeez - this is what I went through too!  Hanging in there with you, Day - like you said - no news is good news, it was for me, so I'm going to keep thinking it is for you too.

I got to talk to the PA of Dr. Dooley today, and she said "results are negative". She doesn't know though if that machine is a 2 mm one or a 5 mm one. Am I bad or what?

I also got into a fight with that center. I called to ask that my results are mailed to me and they refused. They said they are only required to give results to doctors and not to me directly. I got in a pretty bad fight over the phone with the "supervisor" there, then went and checked and guess what? As long as they file claims with the health insurance, the ARE required to give medical tests results to the patients within 30 days from request. I am definitely going to pursue this.

I am so happy to hear that the results were negative, and I am sure you are as well.  Also sorry about the fight regarding your test results.  Funny, but I had that happen with my last CT scan.  When I asked for the written results of the test for my files, and the scan burned on a disk, I was flatly told "no."  But I could contact medical records once I signed a release and I would get it.  All I got was a letter from medical records (and, by the way, this is the only thing they had in my file - my fist CT with them) stating that if I sent $49.50 for the cost of burning the disc, copying the one sheet of written notes and mailing the frigging envelope to me, I could have it.  I told them to shove it where the sun don't shine and called my onc who requested a copy fo the disk and the report, and she then made a copy of each for me.  Sometimes, you just have to try to outsmart the creeps in this world!

Huh. I don't know what a "breather" is. Is it a puffer?

Doing the happy dance for you, Day, for negative results!

I sure hope the docs can figure out all the rest of the stuff.

Barbe, the breather is an incentive respiratory spirometer.  Looks like this:

I still have the one they gave me in the hospital post-bmx.  Money mouth

Yes that is it. It's supposed to make you take deep breaths and prevent (or remedy) collapsed lung. I wish I had that one, but they took it away from me after 24 hours in the hospital lol. I probably was too ornery.
